Good service. Kind and helpful staff. Kinda slow but once inside with the veterinarian, he was very helpful and detailed.

I adopted a dog three years ago and she was spayed here due to east valley shelter sending adopted dogs here. They are absolutely terrible with compete money grabs…they charged me thousands when they caused complications of surgery and my dog kept bleeding they blamed uti and thousands of dollars later it stopped for most part but her pee smelled…they charged me thousands for tests etc and her glands needed to be expressed only..as a biologist I told them to skip these bogus tests and run another since I knew what the tests were. I adopted a cat from west valley shelter and am so relieved that they no longer send animals here…they heard all of our complaints and agreed they are a negligent “vet” stay far from this place.

This is the best place to care for your fur baby but at a great value! They literally saved my cats life during the pandemic. She had only a few days to live but they saved her and now she’s living like a kitten again at 10 years old. If you value your animals life please take them here! The staff is incredibly sweet as well!

We were very happy with our visit. We were treated kindly and professionally. The cost was minimal , the largest portion was for prescription drugs. Our cat was well treated and almost healed.

I’m honestly disgusted with this place. They work very closely with The Labelle Foundation aka the worst “rescue” in LA. The owner of Value Vet told the foundation that i’m “unstable” because of the way they mistreated my foster puppy who died in their “care”. I wouldn’t recommend this vet to my worst enemy. Do not take your dogs here.

Disappointed with the office clerical staff. Waited 45 minutes to beable to pay for and pick up our dog. No system to take people in order of their arrival. Kind of a free for all.

Not sure why this place is in business to be frank. A rescue group sent me here as the neutering was part of the package when I adopted my pet. Complete disregard for the owner here. First they don’t take you on time for your appointment. I needed to stand in a line for over 40 minutes before an incompetent office employee tried to sell me additional services not covered by the rescue. They berated me. Weren’t gentle with my pet and assured me they are available to help if the pet is in pain. No. They conveniently schedule surgery on Saturday and are closed the next day. My pet was crying in agony for 24 hours. I suspect this cheap vet didn’t give proper medicine to mitigate the pain. I wouldn’t go here for any reason just read all the other reviews about poor care here .

Canceled 3 appointments. 2 after driving across town and leaving cat for surgery only to be called at the end of the day to let us know that we would have to reschedule surgery.

My cat Luna was spayed here. I wasn’t given a choice on where she was fixed because I adopted her from a shelter. But whoever fixed here here didn’t do a good job. They left ovarian tissue in her and as long as it has a blood supply it will start growing a producing hormones, which can become cancerous. Poor thing was in heat and couldn’t do anything about it. She had Ovarian remnant syndrome. It cost me a lot of money to have her fixed properly.

If you’re coming here to get your pet spayed, I’d really advice against it. The rescue we adopted our puppy through had us go here to have her spayed. We didn’t really have a choice of vet office because her adoption fee included the spay at this office. If I could go back, I would have paid another spaying fee at our veterinarians office. The dropping off process itself was a mess, but our real issues came at pickup. When we picked her up, they handed her over, said we’d have to bring her back in two weeks to get her staples removed. That’s the first red flag, our current vet says that any vet that uses staples is just lazy. They also tried to send us home without any pain medication and then when I asked the vet tech he was surprised that no one had offered any because she would be in a decent amount of pain. And then once we finally got her in the car, we realized she was covered in poop. Apparently she had pooped while she was crated and they either didn’t realize or didn’t care. Either way, that’s awful. Needless to say we paid a staple removing fee at our trusted vet rather than take her back here. They also never called to check up on her when we never went back so that’s nice. If you do come here, I truly hope your experience is better than ours. They get two stars because I guess our dog was successfully spayed and although she does have bumpy scars from her incision, she luckily didn’t have any other complications.

Brought my dog here a few days later he was dead. I was rushed through my exam and released. My pet was not properly cared for or diagnosed. I would not recommend this place.

My name is Tim. I brought my dog Jade (Australian Shepherd)in to the Dr on an emergency basis on 3/13/21! My dog got injured playing too rough in my yard with my other 3 dogs. The laceration needed stitches. The Dr was booked (i called as emergency) They were booked but took me anyway under circumstances.! The young man on phone got me right in. Naomi came out and took Jade in right away! The hospitality at this Vet is second to none. Everyone was so nice????. My dog got stitched and is recovering and doing great. The price was affordable and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this Vet. The price included antibiotics and follow up. My dogs (all 4) will be going here from now on. Thank you to all who helped me and to the Dr. for taking me on such short notice! Tim B

Called them to schedule an appointment for couple of times. Both the times they put me on hold and didn't respond for more than 10 mins...!!! Can't imagine how much time are they gonna make me wait if I show up...!!! Atleast if you can't respond, let us know that you are gonna call us back in a few mins.. Not making us wait for 10 mins and not responding. This is very unprofessional...!!!

I was referred to Value Vet through a friend of mine. I was leery to go to another vet since I had a very reliable vet for seven years. My dog Bentley Jack needed to be be neutered and being that he was eight years old, I was afraid of this procedure. I made an appointment to see the doctor and the test results showed he had an enlarged prostate. I proceeded to have the procedure done. Dr. Sherif is AMAZING! He spent time to thoroughly explain to me the health of Bentley Jack and his professional opinion. I am very happy with Value Vet. The staff, and especially Nyaomi, was truly attentive, caring and answered all of my questions (which were many) with ease and care. I felt very comfortable leaving Bentley Jack in the care of Value Vet. I highly recommend Value Vet for the care of your pets. Hugs! Bentley Jack

Payed over $300 to find out nothing about my dog. Called multiple times to speak to the vet, no call back, no nothing!

I had my cat spayed here in August 2020. It is now December 2020 and she is in heat !?!?! UPDATE: I brought my kitty back and they had to do another surgery. They booked her right away and the vet found a bit of her uterus that was missed. Hopefully it’s done for good. I read on the internet that it happens occasionally. They did not charge for the second surgery. Thank you Value Vet

I have been with this vet for two years.... I took my senior dog in to get a senior check up and was told she had heart disease and additionally two torn ACL‘s which would need surgery on both legs. Totaling $10,000 plus. This is not including further medications. I have a good income but a low credit score at the moment. I am not able to finance this on my own. This vet gave me this giant vet bill and no resources and said, “oh well sorry for ya!” They have massive communication problems at the front desk. They hardly answer the phone. I was trying to book an appointment for my other dog who is 16 years old for three weeks and they would never answer the phone. I finally had to end up taking him into the emergency vet and we had to put him down. Value vet is very unreliable and they have terrible customer service. They will write you a giant bill and expect you to have the money to pay for it. Most vets are like this in LA and I thought this one was different.... they hardly answer the phone and they will make you wait for 15+ minutes. Also at the vet itself, I have seen them answering the phones while I am waiting for my dog and hearing her barking in the back. So they’re answering phone calls rather than helping customers that are already there, paying clients. Where were they answering the phone when my other dog was dying??? Over the course of these vet visits I’ve already dished out several hundred of course, we had a relationship built, and yet they still will not continue to help me further with her massive expensive surgeries & heart care. I don’t know what other resources I have as I have researched them. She’s 11, it’s not her time yet.. When I told them that I might have to euthanize her at this point, they didn’t seem to give a rats @$$.

This is where I picked up my dog after adopting him at the animal shelter. We have maintained regular annual checkups for the last 4 years. Always friendly with available appointments.

If I could give -5 stars that's what they would get. Tried to charge me for things my dog did not need, staff extremely rude!! When asked to see my dog before payment they just threw my dog at me screaming I'm not welcome there anymore. Flipping me off and cursing. Disgusting!! Do yourself and your pet a favor and dont come here.

When covid hit my other vet quit trimming my cat's nails so I needed to find a new place. I have been to the value vet several times now and my experiences so far have been good. Now I have switched over completely for my pet care.
