VCA Bascom Animal Hospital Campbell, California

I had to bring in my German Shepard Terra so the Bascom VCA could look at her red underbelly. The wonderful staff jumped in to examine her, inject her to claim her down, shave and treat her underbelly issues. All the staff members were professional, speedy and all with wonderful bedside manners. This is why my wife and I bring our 2 cats and two G.S. pups to them. Good people who truly care.

I can't say enough great things about VCA Bascom! The staff are kind, professional and very helpful. My dog would run to the door because she was so excited and loved how much love they gave. I trust them with my dog and know she was always in good hands. The staff knew our pup and would also provide caring/training tips when she was a puppy which really helped! They always worked with us to provide the best care for our dog and put her well-being first rather than focus on $$. The Care Club is totally worth it! Since we moved back to Southern California, we unfortunately had to leave. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful vet hospital - you won't be disappointed!

The young girl was not very accommodating towards questions that I asked I’m regard to my Italian mastiff AKA cane corso and when I pronounced it The correct way is ("Kah-nah") corso she was fast to correct me “like Don’t you mean CANE CORSO “I have one and I’ve never heard any vets or ppl that own them say that. Then I tried to nicely correct her in saying us American slaughter the name and read it as such. When I bought and cane corso my breeder stressed this point in pronouncing this breed name correctly and how you don’t wanna be looked at like a dummy. so I took note. Obviously she could care less about this beautiful breed and hopefully she gets the correct info on the matter and try to be more accommodating when breeders call and about getting a X-ray instead of ultrasound to determine litter size . And yes it’s more accurate to determine litter count then ultrasound from what breeders have told me.

Would gladly share my positive experience . Costa My FGS , 90# - 4 year old . Very picky , But careful of people , was there for Rabies shot 1st time . Was Happy with Her experience , loved all the staff . Her being soo comfortable means a lot to Us both ! Let’s hope to go again . They are to be Treasured . They know how to run a business . Look at their Open Days & Hrs , great .????

Awesome staff. Very flexible on ways to help you give the best care to your furbaby. Love them!

Good place to take the pet. Attentive and they know what they are doing. But wait time can be a bummer, they take you to the room quick but takes a while before they come get some details like weight and then finally the doc comes. Also the whole procedure takes so long even for simple vaccination visit or regular check up. They try to be all fancy with the iPad and try to come up with a plan etc etc. It is also slightly expensive.

They're friendly, caring and efficient.

Dr Reed is the best Doctor I highly recommend him.

Brought my exotic pet rat here for a checkup. Excellent experience I would like to say that Caitlin is extremely Pleasant! She goes out of her way to help you. you won't find someone as helpful except for Aaron! If you have a rat as a pet Aaron is your girl. She owns rats herself and is extremely knowledgeable about all things rats. Thank you so much Aaron for helping me with my rat ben. And thank you so much Caitlin for your wonderful friendly helpful personality. The Exotic doctor here is wonderful she's very knowledgeable and helpful. If you're looking for a place that can absolutely help you with an exotic pet this is your place.

High professional quality. Possibly a tad expensive. VCA treated our new puppy at the shelter, and they noted in her history that she had kennel cough. They also saw her twice for follow up shots when the visit took place in the parking lot bc of the cough. Yet when we called to say the cough was persisting, they expressed surprise and asked for yet another visit (and a bill of $200). I wasn't impressed by the lack of attention to my pet's history when they are the vet of record. Sometime during the 2 follow up shots when they had to come out to the parking lot, someone should have asked why the cough was persisting. That's what a GP for humans would do, to pay attention to the total well being of their patients.

They went out of their way to help us during a very emotional time. They found a way to work with us to make sure we were able to afford everything our dog needed.

I can't thank the staff here enough for the exceptional experience we've had on one of the saddest days of our lives. My family's beloved dog Elphie went with the utmost dignity imaginable. A week later we even received a heart felt card in the mail, which was well received.

Staff is friendly and professional, explain things well ,and prices are reasonable

I love VCA Bascom animal hospital hours they're open every single day of the week which makes it very convenient if you have a busy schedule with your pet. I've also purchased the VCI animal Care club plans for both the cat and the dogs and they've been pretty fabulous I know that pet health insurance exists and that's another option but when you get the new cat adopted or the puppy the care club for the first year is absolutely a positive experience all the blood tests and the spay and the neuter and the vaccines and all the unlimited office visits really keep you on track taking care of your puppy or kitten in the first year.The one poor thing that kept me from giving five stars is that every time I go to an appointment I end up waiting almost an hour to get seen and so this kind of scheduling nightmare is difficult when there are other things that I have stacked up in my schedule If VCA could improve on scheduling I would rate this location five stars

When the doctor mispronounces basic words it's a bad sign. Office was uncomfortable and I have never gone back.
