Too be perfectly honest it depends on the staff whether this is going to be a good visit or not. Employees tend to stand and talk to each other and get annoyed when a customer is waiting because their conversation was interrupted.

I recently got a hamster from a different location and came into this one to get a cage. When I picked one I asked what the return policy was cause I was unsure if the cage would work. Young girl that was helping me said as long as it was clean they can take it back. So I excitedly bought the one to take home and see if my little guy would like it. Unfortunately it didn’t work and I called the next day to say I wanted to return it and was told it couldn’t be returned, due to the fact it could cause potential illness in other animals if sold. I can understand that but your employee gave false information, if like most places it’s about making the customer happy they should offer something to fix the mistakes they made. UPDATE: called the help line for pet smart and was greeted by a very kind lady who helped me. I explained the situation and she was even confused as to why they wouldn’t take it back , she said they should have accepted the return or at least offered a credit for the misinformation. Gave her the store location and someone will speak with management so hopefully they’ll clear up the confusion and this won’t happen to anyone else .

Nice staff and quick service

They did not have what i was looking for, not a single submersible pump which I thought was odd but I dont kniw enough about aquariums to know if they are commonly used. This location does have a drop dead gorgeous red head, who also has excellent customer service skills so that right there is an excellent reason to visit this location????

The worst service ever ! I asked for help to get some goldfish Instead of helping, I was told I couldn’t choose my fish but only take what was given There were no other folks shopping I asked for another employee to help but denied Seriously? You can’t choose your fish Avoid this store !!!

Been here several times, there is a cashier who has a long beard - keep shutting us off when we were just asking questions and always has a terrible attitude… There are too many pet supply retails to shop from, don’t come here to have your good mood ruined.

This store is huge! We go here because they have the prescription diet that our veterinarian prescribed for our cat. Employees are friendly and helpful. One complaint is that the prices on the website don't always reflect the price in the store. Luckily the cashier was patient enough to match the prices.

We are very satisfied with their service, care professionalism and rapidity. We’ll be happy to bring our dog back for grooming.

Friendly and helpful staff! They have a good selection of pet accessories. Dog friendly of course. Noticed that they have also have plenty of cleaning stations for any pet "accidents" in the premises.

I found the on-site humane society to be an additional help in gaining knowledge on how to take care of our bunnies.

Me and my daughter go here to get supplies for our cat and look at the animals and fish in the tank. They have everything you need for your pet and at good prices.

I have adopted many fish from this market. Most of the fish were healthy and well grown.

Had our dog groomed there and no complaints. Nails were done great ????

Everyone who works here is so friendly! There's a great selection of food and merchandise, as well as training classes, grooming, and vet services.

Went to buy a fish left with nothing. Your employees that work in that department seem to talk everybody out of buying fish. This location and your El Camino location your employees are chasing your customers away they give you a whole bunch of what you cannot do by the time they get done you don't want to be bothered I have a fish tank I went elsewhere for my fish

I picked up an enclosure for my leopard gecko, Dink a couple of weeks ago, that turned out to be damaged, melted, and rather used by whoever returned it. After explaining the situation, and a little bit of phone tag last week with a wonderful associate (I forget their name, but thank you!!!) Markus, the store manager reached out to me and offered to replace the enclosure and throw in some goodies for my gecko. It was late when I got back to the store (like 30 minutes to close) and it was busier than I expected, but I ran into Tom, who was really helpful and nice! He grabbed the cricket goodies, and went to find where the enclosure Markus put aside was. Josh, the manager on duty that evening was able to find it quickly, so the two of them helped me get in and out in less than fifteen minutes. Markus really went above and beyond to help Dink and I! I enjoy the team who works there, and I think Josh also has a righteous beard. I only regret not being able to thank him personally for helping me midst the pre-close rush.
