Dr. Chong immediately put our dog (and us) at ease. We were fresh off a negative experience at a different vet, so this was refreshing. The staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Chong is thorough and explains things in a manner than everyone can understand. I am so thankful that we were referred to her clinic.

Dr. Chong is exceptional in every aspect of veterinary medicine and bedside manner as is her staff...thank everyone! I couldn't ask for a better team of professional and compassionate individuals!

Compassion is an understatement, Dr. Chong is absolutely fantastic. Our Havanese, Havana is nearing end-of-life. She is 16 years old this month. Of the vets we’ve been to over the years she is by far the most caring. To actually see a doctor sit on the floor with a pet and bond with the pet it’s fabulous.

Dr. Chong is like God send angel to all pets. She took care of my dog beyond any vet can do. Very compassionate and we can see in her eyes while treating the dogs. She is very friendly to pet owners. Good staff as well.

Just started with Dr. Chong after my beloved cat Gigi was discharged from the hospital with chronic kidney disease and a host of other problems. The good doctor sat on the floor to be closer to Gigi and cradled her, a very touching gesture I've not seen from other vets. My Gigi enjoyed and returned the affection. Dr. Chong is a godsend, wish I had known her long ago for all my beloved late furbabies.

The doctor/ staff are very friendly and helpful. After closing, the doctor will make her calls to pet owners, I was pleasantly surprised. Very caring and knowledgeable. I don't feel that unnecessary procedures will be done. I drive from Ventura and it's worth it

She is Such a kind and caring Dr.!! She made both my dog and I feel welcome and safe. She wasn’t rushed , she spent a lot of time with us, checking out my dog , answering questions , and she hugged my dog???? . I’m so very happy we found her !! The office staff was also very pleasant and accommodating. Thank you !!

I’ve been taking my 4-legged children to Camarillo Veternarian Hospital to see Dr Chong for almost 5 years. One of my dogs is a service dog and has severe skin issues, in December 2020 he got very sick neurologically (maybe stroke) Dr Chong was so involved trying to get him better, even calling me every few days. Sadly January 27, 2021 he passed. He really loved Dr Chong too, he would get excited when he saw us turn in towards her business. Dr Chong and her staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. Dr Chong is a wonderful Veternarian, her unique approach of sitting on the floor with her patient and getting to know them before the exam reduces any anxieties the dogs may have. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. Her true love for animals shows in her work.
