Had such a horrible experience today. Never have I ever had to deal with such bad customer service. PETA should get involved here because these animals are not being treated properly. They were extremely aggressive with my cat, I did not want to believe another review about a dog getting t!tty twisted. However, when I picked up my kitty my kitties t!tt!es were abnormally long and extremely red. This is the last time I ever go to this clinic. Very expensive also for nothing.

My brother visited earlier today with his sick dog and I just cannot believe the lack of compassion and empathy towards someone who was already stressed. It’s bad enough you have a sick dog, but being yelled at on top of it and treated with hostility?! Unacceptable!! Asking a simple question about the charges is not allowed, I guess. It’s a shame that these people are certified. Cooperate needs to do something about this doctor and the tech that treated him so horribly.

Terrible staff. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Treated my dog like he was aggressive. I Asked the assistant to explain what the charges were all for ($1000 for an upset stomach?) and she pretty much yelled at me in front of all the costumers. They don’t care about your pets, just money. Don’t waste your time and money here. Horrific place.

This lady put a muzzle on my dog because he was big, when i reached to take it off the vet pulled my hair to get me off him and kicked my dog. Please stay away they are extremely aggressive

I would give this location 0 stars if I could. 3 words, unprofessional, hostile, and definitely not compassionate people. I can’t say all the techs and vets are this way but the few I’ve dealt with during my visits have been. I have not had a single pleasant visit since the first time I brought my pup here. They get irritated and start being rude when you as a customer are questioning anything they do whether it’s with care, treatment or pricing, the place is always dirty (I’m constantly coming out of the rooms with hair all over me (other dogs hair), their pricing although apparently “affordable” is ridiculous and when you come in for the most basic visit knowing your dog is fine, they find all these reasons to charge you extra. If you try to refuse paying for something you didn’t even ask them for, they start getting irritated with you. As a pet owner, this is ridiculous. There definitely needs to be some kind of change in this place. As a tech, if you are not ready to be a little compassionate towards people and their sick dogs, find another job. I will definitely not be bringing my dog here ever again.

I have VERY mixed feelings about this clinic. The staff specifically the Vets are very good. Nice, knowledgeable, and thorough. The other staff is also very nice. And the price can’t be beat! BUT, the communication is unorganized and lacking to say the least. My vet had to go on medical leave and I was not informed until it was too late to get my cats prescription renewed on time. I have been trying to schedule his teeth cleaning for 2 weeks and just keep getting told a scheduler will call me back and she never does. They have added an additional fee for each visit and when asked what is was they did not know and I already pay a monthly membership fee! They were not truthful about pick times and timelines for drop off appointments. All of these problems have been avoided if they had proper communication. All of these problems plus them charging me hidden fees left a bad taste in my mouth, but luckily their great staff and prices are enough to keep me around. I just need a call back from the scheduler sometime in the next year…

Please don't take pet out here. Can never get an appointment for my dog. Its very frustrating to deal with when it's urgent. Please don't waste ur money. Don't even bother with the thrive plus membership waste of money.

Front desk staff is wonderful. But this review goes out to the Dr who was very unpleasant, rude and flat out unhelpful. I wanted to ask about my dog’s biting issue and got a bunch of printouts I could have totally googled lmao. Barely answered my questions about shots. No compassion. Go to Glendale location.

Not convinced there is even a vet on staff. Pretty sure they are just charging for blood and urine screens and selling whatever meds that gets them the best perks

3 words. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. This vet is awful. It was so dirty. Staff and the vet didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Staff were so mean to my dog. They were not gentle at all. Never coming back here

They overcharged me claiming they didn’t bank statement says others wise , gave me attitude over the phone , they lag , would not recommend bringing your pets here , very unprofessional

This vet care is very very good. After having a bad experience on another vet before coming here I was very scared to bring my pet anywhere. But she has an issue that I wanted to fix right away she also has allergies that keeps her from sleeping good at night. My dog came from Spain and she doesnt have a vet here. Also we were refused on other vets (I understand its because of schedule). Luckily I got a schedule on THRIVE and everything was smooth, I checked in online, the receptionist was very welcoming, the doctor and the vet techs were very thorough on checking my dog. Doctor Stewart provided answers to everything, updated my dogs vaccines but offered and told me about pros and cons didnt force me just because of money. She gave solutions about my dogs food and allergies. THRIVE was also very detailed with everything done with my pet, they emailed me everything and followed up everytime. Overall I am satisfied with their service, prompt responses and professionalism. I will always come back and refer my friends to THRIVE. Also parking was easy, PETCO beside it very convenient and they have inhouse pharmacy so you dont have to go anywhere else. Once they give you the medicine all the instructions are there. Very satisfied thank you for taking care of my dog as Piñacolada is family to us.

Thrive was great, but difficulty getting appts. The wait was also a month. Very scary when dog is sick. Wish they had zoom appts.

This place is awesome i take my dogs here and the doctors are really good and experienced and the cost is very reasonable and cheap I highly recommended this place to take your animals

I called to find out what the cost of a spay would be for a kitten, and I was told they couldn't even give me a GENERAL cost without making an appointment to come in for an exam and that "the vet will give you an estimate at that time." So - nope. Stinks I have to drive to Simi Valley, but at least they will do a spay without 900 other things and quote prices right on their website! Won't be going to Thrive.

I couldn't get them to answer my call so I was not able to have my dog seen. I'm glad they didn't answer because if I was calling to check on my dogs status and they didn't answer. No thanks!

Extremely unprofessional and unorganized and even arrogant. Did not feel safe bringing my dog there after the staff failed to find my appointment in the system 2 times after they booked my appointment . The staff on April 9 2021 was extremely unprofessional and seemingly purposely failed to reschedule my appointment the next day after failing to even have my appointment in their system after me and my family drove from an hour away . 2 straight days of not logging my appointment in their system is a total joke . I Highly recommend not working with this company .

I don't usually leave negative feedback but... today's experience was not good.. Not professional or compassionate. Pushing a $49 exam on top of shots cost. They will not allow you to opt out of exam, forcing you to pay for something you don't want. They say you scheduled an exam even if you did not. Be careful when scheduling your dogs appointment. They also said, "we're not a vaccine place, we're a vet hospital". Is that what you say to customers as if we are dumb?

I just did not have a good experience at this place. The vet was really rude about my dog's medical history and never even got around to telling me if my dog was healthy after the check up.

Two days after paying $460 for the x-ray and blood test with no medication or treatment, they recommended the other $430 exam. But later one of the staff told me to take my cat to the urgent care because they were fully booked and hang up while I was talking. They're not supportive and professional at all. I changed the new vet for my bleeding cat.

Very affordable. Unfortunately the vets rotate and you usually don't see the same person every time. However, they have a lot of locations, so it's easy to get an immediate appointment when necessary.

Terrible place, I brought my dog to have her vaccine and I will not be coming back. When I scheduled the appointment the price I was quoted was completely different from what I ended up paying. I received a call from the Veterinarian and she was very pushy telling me to purchase the thrive membership even though I mentioned to her I only brought my dog for the vaccines. The doctor went on to tell me I need to spay my dog because if I don't she will have breast cancer. The staff is very unprofessional, all they care about is selling their membership and selling additional services, they don't care about your dog. Do yourself a favor and find better care for your pet.

I took my dog in November she had blood in the urine they told me they will do X-rays and blood tests so pay for everything and was told that I only needed The medication for her infection. I sat on the subscription little little too long I asked them to refill it and they told me that I have to bring her back in for another blood test which was $265. Then they called me and told me that she needs another x-ray which is now February, I ask the doc where are the previous X-rays I was told there not been uploaded by the other veterinarian which means I have to pay again. I pointed out that was not my problem they need to get their database up to date so we don't have to keep paying over and over. Then I was confronted by the veterinarian who proceeded to tell me I was undermining her career by disputing the cost and a decision. Definitely need to talk about best practices in the organization "watch your pockets"
