Nice small shelter staffed with friendly and helpful Officers. The small size of the location does limit the number of pets available for adoption, but all the ones we saw looked well cared for.

Adopted my new kitten here, and she was so well taken care of, and the process was very simple. Highly recommend adopting here, they have so many adorable cats and dogs that need forever homes!

The staff is super friendly and they’re very conscious of their upkeep. Its just disappointing because they did not let me adopt a cat because my husband and I can’t afford to have him miss a day of work, even though i explained multiple times, it’s a sensitive time and he can’t take time off work. They still require a lease agreement for your living situation too, even if you already own pets in your house hold too. I left in tears.

We adopted Floyd about a month ago from the Burbank shelter. Everyone there was just great!!! Our current dog, Lucy, was lonely, indeed. When she met Floyd, it seems they fell magically in love (Not like that) and were soon best of friends. Floyd is now solidly a part of our pack. First photo is Floyd’s front half. Second photo is Floyd’s other end. The third pic is Lucy waiting fo Floyd,. The fourth is Lucy and Floyd on their walk. The last one is, obviously after the walk. Thanking you guys again for getting Lucy a new best friend. ????

I am so disappointed with Burbank animal shelter services . I called to let them know that there has been a bear in my backyard and front yard for 2 days in a row . The response I got from Marisa was that she can give us information HOW TO COEXIST WITH BEARS. I was so concerned for my child’s safety and she kept saying there is nothing that can be done . And their hours of operation is 10 am to 5 pm And of course the wild animals come out at night mostly . Even when I expressed my concern about being scared to go to my car at 10 pm she still stated there is nothing that can be done . So their job in this office is to sit on their chairs and give residents advise how TO COEXIST WITH WILD ANIMALS as if we live in a zoo .

Great place for animals in need of furever homes. Clean facility, nice people, well-cared for animals. We adopted from there and are so happy we did.

Friendly, well staffed shelter that helped me scan a wayward young cat for a microchip within an hour. Complimentary carrier too. Thank you!

Worst animal shelter and staff I have ever dealt with. Very rude, uneducated in every way when I comes to dogs and their behaviors. They are also unclear of their rules for “appointments”. I’ve come multiple times and had to wait 20 mins for them to even bring me inside so if there’s a 10 minute window how does that work??? It’s such a shame that the dogs there have to be in the hands of such bad people who make it hard to even want to adopt from here. I don’t know how they are allowed to let random not trained people coordinate the meet and greets. The people I have dealt with had no knowledge on dogs what so ever. There’s a reason they have dogs for almost a year and sometime more than a year. This place hires bad uneducated employees and it seems as though they aren’t trying to find good homes for these dogs. I have adopted from here years ago but the last 3 years the staff has become poor.

I had to have my best friend put down today and they were so helpful and caring when it came to all of my dog’s needs. They were so polite and helpful on the phone and in person was even better than imagined. I want to thank everyone who helped us out today. I definitely Would recommend this place.

This place is a decent size. I would say the only downfall is the parking. There is ample staff available there to help you with any questions. Nice big areas for the dogs to Move around in their cage. Cat area is big. Love that they have a nice big room to put several cats in so they can play. They do have a place for turtles and amphibians.

So disappointed, as a local Burbank resident I was taking a stray in, only to be rejected because the poor animal was not found within the city limits. And with other local shelters near by shut down they really made no attempt to help an animal that needed help outside of my own abilities.

After my appointment online, a few days later, I received a phone call that as part of their screening processing my whole household had to come down with me to meet the animal to be adopted. I am more conscious of medical news, including covid 19 virus social distancing, than they are. However, that screened me out. Other shelters don't require a covid 19 virus social party like this shelter expected me to have. My household has people who are considered high risk of having severe issues if they get covid19 virus. Rather, other shelters want you to adopt the pets. This shelter is more like an rescue center forever holding onto pets and not having them adopted. I take great care of my current pets. My primary concern with them is increased and long life longevity. This shelter has management that doesn't read news nor health news nor medical news to know what social distancing is.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent Covid protection protocals in place. There are still some very sweet cats and dogs looking for new parents. Please check their website.

They are accepting donations of towels and blankets. I stopped by because we all need to do our part to help. I was blessed to get a puppy a coupleof months ago. I know my new puppy is lucky not all are as lucky as her. So, I wanted to contribute.
