I used to love this place but they now leave you on hold for over 10 minutes to let you know they have no appointments available and they need to send you to the Emergency room if you want to see the vet in less than a month.

I had my dog pass there so not happy, but their good workers there.

Friendly and knowledgeable, mostly very professional. Took my granddaughter's cat there, and was pleased with the care.

A place I've been bringing my pets to for 15 years because it's a place that is like family.

Dr. Lee, The last time you saw Murphee on May 28th for his IBS, you prescribed 1/4 tablet (2.5 mg) of Prednisone every other day and I tablet of Budenoside every day. I addition I have been giving him one tablet of Benadryl every other day because of allergies and itchy skin. His irritable bowel has been under control since we started this med program. In your note to me you said to contain these med until further directed. Do you want to continue this med program? Ted Arcado

Dr Weinstein is Moki's vet, the picture is an old picture. Moki has been going through a health issue for 2 & 1/2 months and he has lost over 10lbs along with his appetite. Moki and I have been under Dr Weinstein care for nearly 3 wks, he's patient with the both of us. Moki's physical needs and my emotional needs. He didn't give up on Moki and thank goodness. Moki is a FORMER patient of Banfield Deer Valley and on May 1st was diagnosed w/pancreatitis. Instructed to feed him Hill dog food, Entyce and get an ultrasound that has a price tag of $1000. Instead, scheduled and appt at Brentwood Family Vet and Dr Weinstein 2 wks later for a 2nd opinion. Moki was already losing more weight and strength but he had his playfulness and love. Dr Weinstein prescribed antibiotics and urged to try and feed him best we could, follow up in a week. The office called during the week to check on him and make suggestions till his upcoming appt. A week later no change except Moki was getting weaker but he still had determination and was prescribed a steroid. Moki started his steroid treatment along w/probiotic on Friday and ate a small meal that morn. & eve. Saturday he got pampered with a bath/6 small tbsp. meals which he "inhales" and all day "belly rubs." And I've continued this daily treatments w/his meds and he is slowly getting into his routine of playing with his sqeek toys, chasing squirrels, playing & napping w/his dad and visiting his friends next door. Dr Weinstein has the best "bedside manner" I was...[no need to explain]. He listened and it's not easy w/a frustrated and desperate mom. He has made my husband so happy since Moki was his birthday present 10 yrs ago and it's his birthday tomorrow ????. Thank ???? Dr Weinstein.

Wonderful on phone and in person. Staff is knowledgeable and efficient (but always friendly and kind). Appointments run on time and the doctors are personable and have great communication- my Labordoodle sees Dr. Heath.

Dr. Blount and staff were very attentive and showed so much concern to my Rocket when he got sick. Dr. Blount was thorough and upfront with the treatment plan and when we could not afford all of it, was very gracious enough to provide us with alternatives and cost effective way to treat my fur baby at home. We are just thankful that nothing else was wrong with Rocket and he recuperated as expected. Thank you Brentwood Family Pet Care for accommodating Rocket when no other vet clinics would take him the day we needed to take him.

I have been taking my Golden Retriever to this Vet hospital since she was a puppy, 5 years. The staff is always friendly and I truly believe that Dr. Weinstein saved my dogs life! She was diagnosed with SRMA, and between BFPC and Davis Hospital, we easily have a $30K dog!! I would have given them 5 stars if it were not for the following problems: I get very frustrated with their lack of consistency in scheduling. With my dogs health problems I am in there AT LEAST once a month. Yet, every time I call or go in they don't seem to know who I am, asking my pet's name, last name, and acting like I've never even been there before!! Also... My pet unfortunately needs her glands expressed about every three weeks. About 75% of the time I can call and get an appointment within a day or two. However, about 25% of the time they tell me that they can't get that type of appointment in for 4-6 weeks!! Are you kidding me?? Anyone who has a pet with this problem knows what a dog smells like when they need them expressed... it is nearly impossible to be in the same room. And the comfort level of my dog must be terrible while she is waiting for this!! I cannot believe that they can't schedule a 5 minute tech appointment for a dog that is a major "cash cow" for them!! 4-6 weeks to have such a minor thing done is unacceptable! If they are that short handed, then they need to hire more techs. I'm not saying that my pet should be seen over another simply because we spend on average $400 OR MORE per month there... Anyone should be able to get such a short, simple, routine appointment without having to wait 4-6 weeks!!

We have been here numerous times for our cats. Each time they have been very friendly and helpful. They even made time for us even when we didn't have an appointment and needed to get in immediately. We have sent several friends here and they have all been very pleased with the service they have received.

Do not let the friendly staff fool you.. though I'm sure the techs and other admin are good, the doctors seem off.. I no longer bring my dog this vet. When I would bring in my dog for a minor issue, seemed she always left and came home with a bigger one. And meds prescribed never really worked. Felt they played off the ignorance of the owner and prescribed what wasn't needed. . I never really felt they were genuine in care - just good at faking it.. I also just read about a recent horrible experience someone else had there and it compelled me to share my concerns as well. Definitely look elsewhere for your animal's care.

Dr. Riley was amazing. I had to put my 20 yr old cat Agape to rest. The showed nothing but love. Thank team.

In these days when pet care seems to have turned into more of a business, Brentwood family pet care is shining example of putting pets and their people first. They are caring, have empathy and don't push you or make you feel guilty for the decisions made.My Daughter takes her GSD here and loves them. I recently had to euthanize my closest friend ever. Dr Weinstein helped myself and Sabre through this horrible time by being gentle, professional and empathetic.

Best vet in Brentwood without a doubt

I have been taking my elderly cat here to treat her kidney disease, and the staff and Doctor are friendly, courteous, and compassionate. I will continue to bring all of my pets here going forward.
