Dr. Chong and her crew are AMAZING! I wouldn't trust anyone with my pets. She makes them feel comfortable and calm.

Again if your staff had indicated they did not have the equipment to diagnoseor treat my dog..different than saying that they could not fit him into the schedule..you have only seen my dogs maybe q or 2 times in the last 2 years.. or the 5 or 6 times we have been there..was a way to give a negative number I would give it..been a patient for 10 years and when my dog was unable to walk and had become incontinent overnight she was unable or unwilling to see him..he died the next day..do not recommend you see this vet.. Excellent place to take your animals. I personally have had bad experiences in the other vet offices, along with friends. Cool people.

Peaceful alternative for dogs who get stressed out in larger office environments. They were always kind and loving to my female Australian cattle dog, and for that they get high marks. Not sure how up-to-date they are on the most current technologies, but if they can't handle it, they'll get someone in who can, or make a recommendation. My male ACD needed a rear ACL, and though Dr. Chong did not do that kind of surgery, she brought in Dr. Tarvin (now retired) from San Diego and he did an excellent job, a beautiful surgical job...no hint of scarring. There is quite a bit of overheard front desk gossip from time to time, but Bishop is a small town and everybody talks about everyone.

It was my first time to take my dog to this place and my initial impression was very positive until I saw a cat loitering in the hospital without a leash. On the wall, it literally said “Thank you for putting on a leash on your pets.” My dog has really high prey drive and the moment she saw the cat, she wanted to eat it. The whole visit became stressful because I was trying to restrain my dog, while dealing with pregnancy, while filling out forms all at once. So how come this cat is roaming free? It looks like it’s the owner’s. Note to owner: If you’re going to enforce your clients to leash their pets, you should lead by example. It’s not rocket science.

We love Mnt. View! Cheryl and her staff are so welcoming. We always know that our Dog will get the best care. They have gone out of their way to help accommodate our schedules and emergencies!

Always a pleasant experience when we visit! Very caring and helpful staff.

Dr. Chong is an alright vet and seems to know her stuff. The only thing worth reporting is that while the employees are kind to your face, as soon as you leave they are gossiping about you. Dr. Chong knew that I am Hard of Hearing and she thought that I couldn't hear her when she said that "I spoke like an idiot". This is the only vet I've been too when I asked the employees I was told that gossip was a regular part of the establishment. I also witnessed an incredible amount of racism and prejudice against Native Americans while spending time here. Charging Native Americans more and pushing them harder to get procedures their animals didn't need.

We have taken our kitties to Mountain View Animal Hospital for years. Dr. Chong is very kind, professional and knows her stuff! They have what I call 'calming animals', a cat and a couple of small dogs, that greet you when you come in. They really helped our cat's anxiety of being at the vets. They sniffed noses, sat down next to the carrier, and she quieted down right away. The cost is also reasonable, compared to other vets in the area. I highly recommend Mountain View Animal Hospital!

I took my dog here about 2 weeks ago and as I was leaving the staff began talking I'll about me and my dog because I live on the Reservation. If you are Native, don't go here, they will not give your animal the best care.
