Dr sal is almost and don't break the bank the staff was all so kind to great animal care here they get real busy and only take so many walk inns so go early and covid they want u to text when u arrive so text asap when u get there walk in or apt need to do it fast friendly experience was referred here by a friend ????

Very professional and caring Veterinarian office. My dog's felt comfortable here. I was there to send my Doberman to Heaven. She developed cancer and stopped eating. With this COVID everyone is doing business differently. This has become my new dog doctor.

10:15 appt, got to enter at 11:10, left at 12:30. Admit you're successful, expand, hire more people and get it together.

I will admit that it is hard to get an appointment here due to how busy they are, but I truly understand why. The staff are not only patient, but nice also. I first discovered this clinic when I had to unfortunately put one of my dogs to sleep during Covid shut downs. I called numerous places, but this place was the most reasonable. She was admittedly a very large dog. My other dog needed surgery a year later. Again, Dr Sal's prices are extremely reasonable and I was charged nearly half what other vet's were trying to charge me. I love my dog, but I also have to watch my money down to the pennies especially now. It's pretty sad how many vet's will exploit the love pet owners have for their fur babies just to fatten their pockets. If you are the type who lacks patience tho, then I'd suggest you go somewhere else where you will most likely pay 4x's the amount for the same service.

The only thing good was the price of the procedure. They didn't open on time to begin with and although we had an appointment we were kept waiting 45 minutes which I was told is a short wait time. Communicating with them via their phone number and texting was frustrating since responses were slow in comming. Once inside the people were professional but lacked warmth and were barely friendly. The facility looked old, ill kept and actually dirty. The attendant was attentive to my little dog so I started to feel better. We were told to call at 3:30pm to see if our loved one was ready to be picked up. We called and called and called. When they picked up we were put on hold and we waited for 30 minutes ON HOLD. We hung up and tried to call again. No answer. We went to the clinic and walked in although the sign on the door stated "Do Not Enter" and told them we wanted our dog. Fortunately he was more than ready to come home. We were given No Post Op instructions, or told how the procedure went or what to do in case of an emergency NOTHING! Needless to say "NEVER AGAIN"!

Dr. Salvador is the best! We love him! He is very attentive and caring. He explains and answers any questions you may have. He is very honest and very reasonably priced. We have taken our dogs to him for 17 years (my oldest is almost 18 years old). Our drive time to Animal Care Clinic is close to an hour and it is so worth it! ❤

I've had to wait awhile here even with appointment but totally worth it ! I really like their new covid system where they text you when to come in. I think they should have done that a long time ago, considering how tiny their waiting room is. It's a very no nonsense clinic and effective clinic. They helped me with my dog and thankfully didn't have to go to the next step (blood tests). I do book appointments even if it's a month away though. Walk ins can be a hassle but I have been a walk in before in an emergency. Wouldn't go anywhere else. I trust them with my 3 dogs.

Super long wait even if you have an appointment. But they are very nice and informative and good prices

Update: Came here to put my cat down this morning after calling to make sure I could be squeezed in on Saturday. Was told to arrive before 9am and did so, then texted I was a walk in and the reason for the visit. Spent over 4 hours waiting outside after watching person after person go head of me with out texting to walk in to the office. Finally received a text to come in at 1:10pm but had left an hour ago. This is how you treat a customer who has been with you for over 10 years and their cat is on its last breath. Dr. Sal is a wonderful man and get but his supporting staff is really dropping the ball with customer service. I won't be back. Update: Made an appointment a month ago to drop off my cat who had a mass in his neck and was treated very rudely by Sam who would not except me dropping off my cat at 8:30am even though that's what the receptionist had told me to do. Dr. Sal cares about animals. He's not just interested in making money on people. Only negative is the long waits. Still the best vet you will find.

Staff is friendly and the Vetenerian is the best.

Price is reasonable, even if you have an appointment the wait is pretty bad, that's why the 3 stars.

Dr. Sal and the staff are just great, I have 3 pets under their care and I have no complains on that part, the only down side is the size of the place (very small) which means unless and even if you have an appointment be ready to wait, and if you don't have an appointment well, just be ready to wait it out.

This clinic is absolutely amazing, I was a walk-in so the wait time was understandably long. When you are able to see the doctor he is so thorough and caring of your pet. He was swiftly able to diagnose the issue with my kitty. She had a blockage in her tummy and he quickly transfered pet to VCA animal hospital in lakewood where they took care of what was wrong. All around wonderful service and very professional and communicative. Thank you! Please understand that being a walk in doesn't mean you will get served right away. This clinic is busy for a good reason they will take care of your pet once they get to you.

I've been going to Dr. Sal forever. I've been to other vets with friends & I can honestly say that I have never come across any one I would rather take my pets too. He has great prices and is an amazing vet. He's a good man that actually cares about the animals. I haven't ever found another vet that I can say cares about the animals genuinely. There is usually a wait (with appointments or walk-ins) but its because he is thorough & good at what he does. I know my fur babies are in the best hands possible when they are with him. It's always worth my wait for me.

DO NOT GO HERE. I.AM LEFT with a PAINFUL picture of my terrified puppys last moment alive! I went here bc both me and my husband wanted to be there for my sweet baby girl. She's 19 and things have gotten rough so i brought her in. Still in a haze at having her euthinized we walked into the dingy clinic having to wait in a hallway room for too long. Then knowing she's lost 11 lbs.they proceeded to poke around to find a vein. If I was in my right mind I would have left as soon as I got there!. Now what's left is the picture of a terrified little girl w me holding her face still.

Went to euthanize and staff was gentle and explained everything.

The doctor was great, if and when you can talk or see him! This is the reason for the low rating. I had an appointment for shots, the wait time was a little over a hour and a half. WITH AN APPOINTMENT! I ended up also getting blood work done for my pet. I ended up getting blood work done also to check a few things. My appointment was on a Friday and the doctor indicated he would call me the following day on Sat. I did not get a call on Sat I figure okay he was busy. Monday comes around and no call so I ring them on Tues. I was told the doc was out and the front desk would leave a note to call me the next day. That call did not come Weds or Thurs! I called thurs a few times but no pick up. I call this morning on Friday and was told the doc will call me back when he is free today. Let's see if this happens. Also, the lady at the front desk is not the nicest. There are long hold times and she is just not the friendliest. When I found this place on yelp I should have went with all the bad review on service.

Call first they have specials for certain days and times of the month. More of a small clinic. We bring all of our rescues here.

One always has to wait past your appt time but... they are such a good vet team and not near as costly as other vets can be, so it's worth the wait. ????

I have been going to this place for years. The only down part is the wait time. It could be hours. They only have one Doctor, so the wait time is understandable. The Doctor ALWAYS does a thorough examination. The staff always go above and beyond to help as well. Pricing here is the ultimate best. The cheapest I have ever encountered. At other places blood test cost around 300 but here it is about 180. I'd wait to to save myself the money.

It is a little bit of a wait. But the service and attention is great.

I ve read all these comments/reviews and well they seem very old., but nonetheless I will be stopping by this clinic and check this place out as people speak of. And see what type of service they offer and check there customer service skills and as how they treat my best friend.., that’s the most important thing too me giving my fur child quality attention to detail., to get to the bottom of the hats going on., I will definitely come back and write another piece to this review., Also those of you that comment on here and if you know of a better doctor excellent quality of care for fur babies then come back and share because fur parents always want the best quality care for there fur kids and please also speak of pricing we are a community to share and help each other out please and thank you .. ????
