I go to BAH as they are friendly and care about and for many types of animals.

They were extremely compassionate and professional in taking care of our cat.

I haven’t been to other veterinarians in the area, but they took amazing care of my cat up until her last day. They gave her the care she needed and on her last day they were so caring and let me have as much time as I needed even after they were technically closed. If I could I would donate to them.

At first I thought this was going to be the best vet in barstow..... I took my dog in for not eating and pooping for 3 days. Vet gave meds and sent him home. Took him back 3 days later since there was no change, then she finally did an x-ray and referred me out. After paying $1000.00 for stuff he did not need.... The vet did not know how to read an x-ray so it cost me an extra $150.00 for someone else to do her job. I went in to see if maybe she could help refund some of the funds since I found a vet that knew what they were talking about and she was rude and snappy, instead of showing any concern. saying that the meds she gave him helped him for 8 days with no food or pooping. This is UNTRUE since the vet we found on our own discovered (off her x-rays) twisted intestine. (She did not know this) Due to her negligence he could have died and she had no remorse. This was the worst part. I do not feel like the vet cares for the animals she is serving, however her other staff are amazing, respectful, caring and show genuine concern!!! Never take your animals to her, she has no bedside manner, lies, and does not know what she is doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dog is recovering well now.

Had to take in 2 dogs in 1 week, both are better now, I was able to be seen right away,f friendly staff, and reasonable price, took another one of my babies in to be neutered today, staff is very nice, thank you from Smokie

I wish my experience was like other people over here are expressing. But to keep it short the place is filthy, I don’t care if it’s an animal hospital it shouldn’t look like a butchers office... go to VCA they keep their installations clean. I bring in my dog because he’s got a scratch right on his eyelid and their main doctor can barely tell us what’s going on then tells us she needs to put my dog under sedation so she can get in there and check... I immediately refused because is a way they charge you more money for nothing don’t be naive and let them take advantage of your love and care for your pet. Told her to give me medicine for the external scratch she did and now my dog is fully recovered after 1 day of application. She knew I didn’t fell for her lie and tricks and once she understood I wasn’t gonna give my money away she said the dog was gonna be fine.. charged me $70 and I left. AWFUL, filthy dirty workplace. UP TO YOU IF YOU WANT TO RISK IT

So far so good just had my cat spayed there they were very caring and took great care of my baby and did a great job with the surgery.shes tiny 6lbs 4yrs old full grown so I was scared to death to have her put under,but it went very well and she is recovering well.i highly recommend barstow animal hospital.

The ladies that work the front desk are some of the most compassionate people to have ever worked anywhere. I unfortunately had to come and bring my dog in to be put down and the ladies were so understanding of my feelings and cared about my last moments with my pet and his comfort all the way to the end. They really were the silver lining of it. Thank you so much for caring for me and Walter

Had my cat spayed and they were outstanding with the care and professionalism. Amazing quality for amazing service. Will be returning for all my pets needs. Highly recommended. Thank you guys again. ????????????

Friendly staff. They ran a little late but my cat was well taken care of and that was obviously the main concern. I think they were just a little surprised at the turn she took when they took her back. (They asked why she needed to be sedated for a nail trim. I told them because she turned into a demon. They didn't believe me)

Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. The vet made my dog feel at ease.

Horrible, worst smelling and so dirty I don't know how anyone could stand behind in there for more than 30 seconds ????

I took my puppy Dorothy here to get fixed. The office staff is really sweet and helpful. They dis an amazing job.

My dog had a swollen ear from infection. Vet wanted $950 to do surgery. Friend's dog had same ear problem. He cured it with ten days of the antibiotic Ampicillin. The cost for surgery was too much. I asked for pain medicine and antibiotic to try to help the dog. They refused to give it.

They are always able to accommodate me on short notice. I come from a long distance and they usually work with me to save me a trip.

I love all the workers here! The front desk ladies are more than helpful and so happy to help anyway they can. they do not get irritated or frustrated with you when you have 100 questions for them. My dog (cooper) hurt his leg and i call all the time for any questions and concerns that I have. The doctor is always so quick to call me back for any questions and concerns that I have. she does a fantastic job trying to explain the problem as best as she can! Quick and efficient. Friendly staff, clean facilities.

My dog Kitsap was a huge nuisance due to his anxiety and size, but the staff were so lovely and patient with him. They treated him and sent us on our way quickly. The quality of care was good, and the cost was very reasonable considering it was an emergency situation and we came in unexpectedly. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful, kind and attentive. Definitely would make this our regular vet if we were l not moving.

We came in with are 2 10 week old puggle puppies. They were very helpful and the staff were great people.

If I could give zero i would. The dr didn't listen, was quick to prescribed medication instead of really trying to find the answers. My dog had really bad green discharge coming out nose and eyes. Said it was kennel cough gave lots of medication. One I later found out isnt a rx and I could have got it for $7 on Amazon when I paid $35 and because the vet didn't recommend and further testing and assumed it was kennel cough later at another vet I found out my dog had distemper! They also gave me medication that they told me give for 14 days which only lasted 11.5 because they must have measured wrong. I been a diabetic for 20 years I know how to properly fill medication the the proper line so know it wasn't a mistake on my part. I would never recommend them to anyone and am so shocked thier reviews are this good.

Went in for routine appointments for 11wk old litter mates. Vet was half an hour late to the appointment, then they give us an estimate (unrequested) prior to doing anything that we came for. Another half an hour and my pups finally get their vaccines, but they forgot the microchips. Finally get to check out, final price is about 3x what their estimate was. Then they call me today, and they forgot to charge for a test, so they wanted to know if we still wanted it done. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.
