Not taking new patients as of 1/11/22 and wasn't very helpful for other vet suggestions in the area.The receptionist was apologetic and friendly though.

Every time I take my pets in I feel like the office workers, the techs, and Dr. Thurman listen to me and then share with me options available. I have been a client for over 10 years. Very pleased with the services offered at his facility.

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here. They always take care of my animals and never overcharge. They explain everything in any bill they’ve given me without me having to ask and always make sure I’m aware of what must be done and what is optional. I appreciate their whole staff.

Best vet office in Bako hands down! Dr. Thurman and Dr. Jackie are the best ever.

I totally trust this veterinarian! I was taking my dog somewhere else for a while, but he couldn’t give me a diagnosis for my dogs problem. Switched to Dr. Thurman, and he had it diagnosed in one visit. They have a new doctor, and she is fantastic, too. The whole staff is so nice and helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Zoey and Daisy both were nervous. Zoey was shaking but Dr. Thurman kept her calm. Daisy wanted to go with Zoey when they took her to the other room. They kept both of them calm by talking to each one while examining them.

I was able to book an appointment right away and they were super friendly. Explained my options, went over the charges line by line, and it wasn't an arm and a leg. Loved my visit.

Dr Thurman is great with my dogs. Very caring and thorough. His office staff is equally as wonderful. They do their best to get all my questions answered in a timely manner, are very friendly and caring.

Took Rigger in for an impromptu nail trim and they immediately noticed his back nail was damaged. Instead of having us bring him back on an “appointment”, they handled it, removed the nail, casted him and put him on antibiotics. I was not expecting this extra effort. Not because it’s unlike Dr. Thurman, but because I run a rescue and do not get this treatment for my dogs at other places. I have since switched my rescue dogs over to Thurman.

I've just started bringing my 3 cats here in 2020 and love them already. First of all, I really appreciated Thurman Veterinary Center's response to the pandemic last year; the practices they put into place helped me feel safe and alleviated my anxiety. The continuation of curbside service is a plus for those of us who are still trying to limit contact, or if you just don't want to go in. Dr. Thurman and every other employee I've spoken to there have all been friendly and professional. I've yet to bring any of the cats in for anything other than annual exams and vaccinations, but service has always been quick. One last thing, their website is great! Too many businesses still have lackluster sites despite it being 2021, but TVC has all the information you could need, seems to be regularly updated with pertinent info, and you can make an appointment directly through it. A plus for those of us who hate making phone calls!

Absolutely love Dr. Thurman! His staff is incredible and he treats my babies like princesses. I wouldn't trust anyone else to giving medical care to my babies. When my two older babies had to be put down, he stayed with me and made sure I was okay. Let me stay with them as long as I needed.

Dr. Thurman is the best. I have two senior dogs and it seems like they’re always in for one reason or another. Dr. Thurman answers all my questions. I’m not sure how to explain it, but he’s completely calm and unflappable - and I’m a nervous wreck. He has this way of explaining what’s going on that calms me down. I highly recommend this vet.

It is always a pleasure to visit Dr. Thurman and his staff. I know my pets are receiving great care, Dr. and staff are extremely personable and the entire office is immaculate. It always smells fresh and clean. I love the convenience of getting emails to remind me when my pup needs a vaccine and the staff makes it easy for me to go in when it's convenient for me, someimes on the same day that I call. Great people, great business.

There are very friendly staff and make sure you are aware of what is going to happen and how they will go about it. They informed me of the results and explained how to care for our dog after surgery. I was pleased with the experience, considering the situation. Thank you Thurman Veterinary.

I am always thankful to have such an amazing group working to meet the needs of my pets. Everyone from the doctor to the receptionist is very knowledgeable in the care and treatment of animals. My questions are always answered and advice is given as to what options will best suit our needs. I appreciate the team and never worry that my pets are not being given the best care possible. Just wish we would have went here years ago.
