Is unprofessional and refuses care from people who usually get cared for by a vet he doesn't like. He should have his license taken

I called Dr.Paul Ansolabehere because my horse was suffering from colic. He asked me who my regular vet was. I informed him who my regular vet was and I let him know she was out of town. His response to that information was "I don't cover for that vet because we have a personality clash. Good luck with your horse."

Terrible service. Rude and unprofessional.

I am disgusted that this person would allow two animals suffer through Colic because of a “personality clash.” A complaint has been made to the board. Animals come first.

horrible. I will not fight until this man is broke. he is a mean, ruthless, sinister..vet. to decline an animals care (which by the way is your job) because of a PERSONAL problem is absurd. if you aren’t professional enough to draw the line there you shouldn’t have a license. I hope he never touches an animal again. buyer beware!! don’t support you.

The lack of professionalism here is so sad. 0 stars would be my preferred choice. This man refused to care for two horses because their regular vet and him has a “personality clash.” It’s not about the conflict and “clash” you have, sir, it was about the horses and their lives, and what your job is to do on a daily basis. I hope that is taken from you after this because it’s clear you prioritize childish disputes over what your job is all about.

Dr Paul is awesome to work with and cares about the animals he deals with. We don't trust anyone else with our horses. Thanks Dr. Paul!!
