The dogs LOVE walking around the parking lot and smelling the bushes. They are also responsible for one of the best signs I've ever seen. The puns change frequently and are usually always hilarious. As far as care? Top notch. Friendly vet techs that care. Pricing is what you expect (don't expect too low). Overall, we are lucky to live close by.

Very knowledgeable and compassionate vets. Did a bunch of procedures without telling me the cost beforehand, was shocked at $900 bill for my cat

Dr Veling and his staff are absolutely great. I have never had an issue getting my pets seen and his no nonsense attitude is exactly what I like to deal with - I'm the kind of person who would rather have a blunt truth than a gentle beating abound the bush. Five star service, and if I could give an extra star for the amazing quips on their sign!

I’m so glad to have found this place. We had a per emergency and couldn’t get in with our regular vet. Not only did they squeeze us in, but treated our girl with great care. We are now switching to this office even though it is farther away from home. Everyone was so kind and gentle.

Super amazing with my dogs leg amputation. He ended up needing a lot of after care and they helped us every step of the way.

I chose SAVH because they have some funny signs, but the staff has been amazing and our puppy is happy every time we go here! Update: my dog is now a year old, recently got fixed and has been back to the office twice since then. Once to get a cone sized and once to have her sutures removed. Each and every time we pull up to their office she is ecstatic to be there! She pulls her way into the office and is happy as can be the whole time. I really cannot recommend them enough. Especially with us not being able to go in with her, it makes me so happy that she is excited to see her favorite vet techs every time!

This place is the worst if your dog has a need. I have a worm that she shed and they won't even look at it so they need to have to have a fecal. I've told him I have four dogs and I live on a ranch and it's very difficult for me to know which one is hers. Also I'm moving out of the state in 48 hours. They said even if I brought them the worm there's nothing they can do to help me because they have to send out a test and it won't be back in 24 hours and they won't do anything else to alleviate her discomfort. They are not all about the animal they're all about their bottom line. This is not the first negative in a counter I've had with them with my animals the only reason we are with them at all is my vet in cool closed and was forced to go there.

AMAZING!!! I went to South Auburn Veterinary Hospital after being let down by Loomis Basin, and disrespected by Rocklin Road. Making the drive to Auburn was the BEST decision ever! They got me an appointment right away and I was in-and-out in 30 minutes. Staff was wonderful, doctor was informative, respectful, and caring. All around great experience!

My 3rd vet in this area. This one I will stay at. Next to my 3 kids, my 3 dogs are the most important to me. These people care, remember me, my pets and their health concerns. DRs. Veling and Posthumus are super friendly and seem to love my dogs as much as I do❣️❣️❣️

Very expressive to have our dogs teeth cleaned,but well worth it. We brush their teeth like we should have in the first place. Everyone there is the best Zoey and Charlie are so you nhappy. See you on our next visit apppreciate you guys ????????????.

Very nice staff, and not a rip off

Would be 5 stars. The staff was friendly and were very good with my nervous dog. But they charge a lot of money.

When I went to pick up my dogs prescription I called as I showed up and as soon as the receptionist picked up she was automatically rude and claimed she “couldn’t hear” and abruptly hung up. I stated what spot I was in for the curbside pickup and she replied with “okay” so she obviously heard me. After the first rough phone call I tried again hoping she could hear me as I was using a different phone. Same thing happened unfortunately. Third time she finally picked and could hear me perfectly but was still rude. She let the staff know that I was here and said it would be a 30+ min wait due to lunch, I ended up waiting well over 30 mins. Overall the customer service was not great and rude staff lost my business.

I called to have a lump removed from our Yorkie the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful they got him right in had the lump removed. We have found our new home for treating our pets

Great service, I told them the symptoms my cat was having and they had me bring her in right away; they then proceeded to schedule a surgery and saved my cats life. They followed up and called the next day too.
