Edgewood Veterinary Clinic Auburn, California

They do not seem to care about our elderly dog. Literally takes them over a week to approve prescription for pain med. Bru is out of meds every month waiting. This morning they said we just got request for prescription today. 1800 pet meds had sent it and being waiting for approval from vet for a week. They said we set the prescription on one of the doctors desks but they aren’t in til Wednesday!! I said can another Dr please approve it. I have changed vets after this. We also had made an appointment this am and they didn’t have it on the books and then said oh we can’t give him anymore pain meds again til he is seen for his annual visit. I said oh like the appointment I came to today that u didn’t even have down?? I never write bad reviews but this is ridiculous. Our dog is old and in pain. The technician even said well we offered u another appointment 30 mins later which was not true. Our appointment was at 9 and they offered another at 10:30. We have a daughter we are driving back to college at 10:00.

My cat had several pressing issues and wasn’t able to get into his normal vet. Edgewood worked me in. They expressed a lot of compassion in booking the appointment. Then the vet provided me with some really great information and suggestions that have since helped my pet. I appreciated her taking a lot of time to explain things to me and caring of my pet is in pain.

Bella is a mix breed that seems to have chosen me as her carer. She flew in from Antigua and drove over 3000 miles from Miami to get here. She has many obstacles to get over after being on the streets most of her life, but Edgewood gave me hope, advice and treatment to know Bella is going to have a for-filled and happy life. Our cat had an infection we could not get her seen by our regular Vet, Edgewood Vet Clinic was so Great and Squeezed her in , they did fantastic with her took care of the infection and went far beyond by making sure nothing else was going on with her. Prices we very reasonable and the Staff was great keeping us informed. I’m glad I found this Veterinarian.

Dr. Hall and all staff members are professional, knowledgable and caring. They all given our goldendoodle "Bear" ultimate care!

With COVID it can be tough to work people into your business and respect the social distancing rules. When you are a vet with a small office, it is doubly tough. When you have 3 large dogs it is just about impossible. Edgewood was able to not only find a way to rotate my dogs in and out in less than an hour, my dogs all got a thorough check-up, even finding things I had forgotten to mention and bringing it to my attention. The office staff is great, always informative and professional, working with you on cost and options to keep the overall bill down. The veterinarian called me on my cell to discuss each dog and what their individual check-ups had uncovered, meds being prescribed, how to dose them, etc. It was one of the best veterinary visits I have had there under such crazy circumstances. I would definitely recommend them to anyone searching for their pet's doctor. Thank you!

We have an elderly Border Collie, and Edgewood has been with him since he was a puppy. Every step of the way, Edgewood has helped us make rational health decisions that take into account our dog's health and his quality of life. They have done a nice job by our family.

2021 Lucy recently had to have her yearly shots, and Edgewood Veterinary was so Covid 19 responsible and I was able to bring her to their location without having to go into the office at all. As usual they thoughtful and kind and made it easy and quick to take care of Lucy. Edgewood Veterinary personnel and the Vet are so kind, to my Lucy. I have been going to the Veterinary office for years, they are the best.

Edgewood Veterinary is definitely the place to take your beloved pets for any pet concerns. Wonderfully professional and realistic staff there will do their utmost for all your pets. Every team member at this veterinary will go beyond the call of duty to help animals and their owners - be it to comfort, treat and/or suggest and advice. I highly recommend this veterinary to all.

I am thankful that I have the vets at Edgewood Veterinary Clinic. I have a number of animals that find the craziest ways of hurting themselves, but I know Dr. M and Dr. Z will come to the rescue. I also appreciate the reminders for routine care because they keep better track of all that for my crew than I have time to. I am always comfident the will care as much as I do for my wild bunch.

The wonderful staff at Edgewood Vet Clinic has been taking care of our animals for years, through 3 dogs and 2 cats and now with our latest addition to the family. Dr. McCamy and Dr. Zerbel are so caring and knowledgeable. They spend as much time as we need explaining and teaching us what we need to know. My cat had his teeth cleaned here and they were very professional. He seems to be in fine condition. His teeth are certainly shiny and clean.

The staff at Edgewood Vet Clinic is unfailingly friendly, efficient, and caring. This was never more apparent than in this time of Covid; they had their protocols down pat -- call in when you arrive, check in, mask up and hand your pet in to a staff member through the front door, receive a call when the pet's exam or treatment is completed, talk to vet about what was done, get any questions answered, pay on the phone, pick up your pet at the door.
