This is their idea of rescuing. They leave their dog outside with a bed and a dog so depressed I’m just going by Facebook but this is utterly disgusting I’m so upset about this person.

We recently adopted our dog Gunther from Justin. Justin was very responsive and informative. Gunther is a perfect fit and we are head over hills in love with him! Thank you Justin!

I had MANY conversations and correspondence with Justin before moving forward with adopting my new puppy. He was wonderful in answering all of my questions and not shying away from any of them. He cares so much for these dogs and only wants the best for them. It was a great experience and I have shared his site with my neighbors looking to adopt a new furry friend. Thank you Justin!

He said he takes cats,so we gave him our cat .We were very happy until we got a call from a veterinarian saying OUR CAT which we gave to him was in a crate, in the sun at a vetinarian place in Auburn, Someone dumped our cat there .He said he would keep our cat. But he obviously didn't do that.We still don't know what happened to our 2 puppies . He said he was going to have them Spayed but he won't tell us if he did or what happened to them. We will never ever go to this place again.When we told him about this he denied it all.He said that he would report us because we have to many dogs.We live on a farm ,which has 5 acres.We did nothing wrong but listen and give our animals to him.

Overall great experience! He was very quick to respond and accommodating even when he had other family plans for Easter. He took great care of our new puppy, as he was the last one in the litter and he basically carried him around with him, slept with him, and overall provided him a great deal of security. I would recommend this organization to anyone looking to adopt a dog.

I got my Red Husky from 1 Love Dog Rescue and they were absolutely the best in providing such an amazing dog. They take immensely great care of the dogs that they take in and make sure that the dogs are healthy and ready for good homes for new owners. Was incredibly responsive and easy to talk to, coordinate and schedule, truly one of the best shelters for finding a new forever furry friend out there. Very nice and friendly owners of the company and they clearly care about finding good homes for dogs.

I had an amazing experience with 1 Love Dog Rescue. Justin & Maria were both so incredibly kind. I adopted a 9 week old puppy almost 2 weeks ago now. He is such a lover! He already understands multiple commands & has basically potty trained himself! The adoption/donation fee was a great value compared to most places. He already had multiple vaccinations, & was microchipped! Upon arrival, I noticed the place was clean & the puppies all looked cared for and happy. The process was efficient & everything was broken down on the paperwork which made everything happen quite smoothly. I have since taken my pup to the vet for his first puppy visit and even the veterinarian mentioned how great he looked and how well mannered he is. She was really impressed! I’m so grateful to have come across this rescue and despite some of the negative reviews, I highly encourage others to see for themselves! Overall, this has been a great experience and I would easily recommend them to my family & friends!

The German Shepherd puppy we bought and the whole litter was put in a bad foster home and they got parvo. Sadly we had to put down our puppy. And I know that not only my family was effected . by the way a 12 year old wrote this so please no rude comments. He is a dog broker and he will sell dogs to people with a promise of $100 back after nueturing/spaying, and then not give back the money and say that they never bought a dog from them.

Our home is so blessed by little mamma Roo. We have 1love to thank for this joy. Justin and Maria are kind and compassionate people. They truly have a heart for animals. Five stars from our family. :)

We adopted a dog so to speak. This is not a rescue, but a dog broker! We love our dog she's awesome but we also paid $700.00 for her with the promise of $100.00 deposit back when we showed proof of having her spayed. It's been months since we sent in proof and nothing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The guy is a dirtbag!

I had the best experience with Justin and his wife. I had to call them cancel then call again as I needed a little more money, he was so patient with me. I got the puppy I chose and he is precious and healthy he was holding him when I showed up. The business was clean the puppies were clean in great care in large containers with plenty of room and the wood chips/sawdust made them comfortable and smelled good. All the information neatly explained and given to us with when where what and whys told to us. I’ve lived here all my life and have had dogs all my life. This was a great experience with a loving puppy outcome. I had almost given up finding one I could afford to buy or adopt. A lot of rescues and breeders want ridiculous high amounts no wonder there are so many needing homes.

I got my little Josephine from 1 love. She was a year and a half, and had been severely mistreated in her former home. 1 love brought her to the rescue, bathed her, groomed her and through them I was able to find and adopt her. She had become the happiest little dog and brings me joy every day. Nothing but gratitude here for everyone at 1 love who made this possible. Keep on keeping on!!

I got a puppy from Justin about 3 weeks ago and I couldn’t be more pleased! The whole experience was great and Justin was very helpful. My puppy is happy and healthy and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you Justin!

1LoveDogRescue was very responsive and answered any questions we had right away. They seemed to really love what they do and love the animals they are finding homes for. We love our new member of the family - he is a happy and healthy boy! We would highly recommend this rescue to anyone looking to add a furbaby to their family!

Well intended but a bit confusing.

The owner was so wonderful and kind. You could tell he really cares for his puppies/dogs and that he take extremely good care of them. We were very impressed! We felt very confident we were getting a healthy happy puppy and we felt very comfortable with the process! The owner helped our dreams come true of adopting a precious shih tzu female puppy! It was a wonderful experience and we feel so blessed! Thank you 1 Love Dog Rescue!!!

We met Justin on 3-5-19 to see our fur baby Peanut, which is name now is Rusty. Justin was on time with our appointment and very knowledgeable about our adoptee. He works very hard and is so very compassionate about what he does. Our little Rusty is a fantastic kid for us.This was first time going through a pet adoption it took about a hour and was painless for my husband and I and would do it again in a heartbeat.Thank you Justin and a big hug to you and your staff...The Klockers

Justine has a passion for placing dogs in the right home. Be patient and you will end up with the perfect dog that needs a forever home.

Please heed all of the reviews on this ‘rescue.’ Unfortunately it is not what the owner portrays it to be. Notice the way he responds to the negative reviews - do you really want to work with and put your trust in someone who threatens, harasses, plays the victim, and takes no responsibility? I don’t know the other people who’ve spoken up on here but I see we have some shared experiences. We aren’t making them up. Learn from someone who did it the hard way - don’t fall for his stories, please.

This business cares only about money. Our puppy was incredibly feeble, and malnourished when we got him, he could barely walk and had food issues like he hadn’t eaten in weeks. Justin the owner was clearly high on marijuana when we came in and said he was having a bad day, I later learned that this is his everyday state. He represented the dog as an Aussie/Lab mix and as he’s now 6 months old he’s undoubtedly a Great Pyrenees (a large, ranch guard dog) not suited to our living situation at all. This has caused immense trauma to us and our dog. When we E-mailed Justin to let him know the situation he immediately resorted to intensely aggressive insults and accusations. He aggressively insulted us, lied to us, contradicted himself over and over and denied everything despite me having all the written proof in paper and e-mails. Justin has shown no integrity or love for dogs. Only anger, depression and greed. I’ve never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism before.
