Great vet I always get an appointment and they allow you to be with your fur baby

When my dog was experiencing kidney failure (she was 16yrs old) during covid, I had a hard time getting anyone to see her. Las Tunas Animal Hospital scheduled an appointment for me with their veterinarian who treated us with loving kindness and dignity. I ended up purchasing a special diet for my Molly however she wasn't eating much. Sadly she didn't make it past another week and was gone quickly. After she passed away, they were kind enough to buy back the unopened cans of food from me and their signed sympathy card was very thoughtful and helped to ease the pain of her passing. I can't say enough about this place, the veterinarian is honest and they don't try to sell you extra services or medications that you do not need. I trust them with my other 2 dogs and feel very comfortable when I need a service and/or exam, they will take care of me. This is a small office but they take good care of their patients and even send home some "after visit treats."

I have been coming here for year's. Dr Peterson is the best Veterinary in the area. I live 45 mins away and would drive any amount of miles to have my pets health taken care of here. His knowledge and care is beyond exceptional. He will not recommend ANYTHING additional that your pet doesn't need, only what is necessary (not like other veterinary office I heard have doing ). He takes time and explains everything in detail. His vet tech Dee has been with him for a very long time and that says something about the office and Dr Peterson’s character. Thank you Dr Peterson for many years of loving care for my pets.

Called twice during business hours to make an appointment, and got the voice mail both times. Left a message about setting up an appointment and never heard back.

I took my dog in to have her teeth cleaned. Not only was the service provided excellent but the staff is friendly and supportive. You won't find this quality of service for the same reasonable price anywhere!

Las Tuna hospital and Dr P has cared for 5 of my dogs the last 37 years. Excellent care with the personal touch.

The people here are so loving and compassionate.

Currently in Covid lockdown. Make an appt, park in back. Text when you arrive. They call to verify and come to your car, take your pet in and then the Dr calls to chit chat re: the findings, pay with a credit card while they bring your pet back to the car. I miss the face to face but this works well.

I came here to get my senior cat checked out. They did physical exam and felt something off with her and recommended me to a specialist. They didn't even charge me. Sadly the specialist was terrible. I ended up having to come back last week for blood work, which was pretty inexpensive compared to other places. They also got my lab work back from the specialist, who lied to me about my cat's condition. The vet and vet techs here was very sympathetic and answered every question I had to deal with my cat from this point on. This place has the most compassionate people. They clearly care about animals and their humans.

Took my mastiff to get cherry eye removed surgically. Saved me so much money & did aye great job as well ....staff is awesome, I buy my dogs treats here

I worked there 6 years ago.I am retired.I have always take my dogs there .I take my Dino there for shots and other things.the women that work there are very good with the,animals.Dr.Peterson is good Dr....

Great friendly service for a cat abscess. They saved me $600 over another place with obscene prices.
