They didn't have many animals to look at, but the staff was very friendly and the animal housing areas were very modern.

My husband and I recently adopted Kai, now named Archie from the Calaveras Humane Society. The staff was amazing and the facility very clean. They were honest about his past and how much work they did to train him to go home to a new family. We are happy to say that Archie is doing good and is adjusting well into being a house dog/family member. We love him dearly. Bryan and Kelly Hopkins

I was so surprised at how fast our post of our missing baby girl went up. And before the night was over she was found. Anita was so on top of things. After posting on the lost and found she took the time to check some other sites in Murphys. Someone had found her and sent out a photo. Anita thought it might be Gypsy and sent the photo to me. Yea!!!! Can this be true.... It's her. Gypsy is a 9 year old female, she is my sons baby. Thank goodness for technology!! Thank god for people like Anita, who by the way is a volunteer that lives in Monterey. I'm a mom that lives in Healdsburg posting for my son that lost his baby girl in Murphys. The world is a better place because of people like Anita who really care. This family is so great full. Debra and Dustin
