Best veterinary care in OC. They are so kind and loving toward the animals they care for. They are also very conscious of the cost of the care, low cost fascinations are available. Just a great place.

The staff at La Palma Veterinary Hospital was so kind, warm, and helpful. I dropped my kitten off for a spay and she’s doing wonderfully. The instructions they provided post surgery were clear and easy to follow. I am so grateful to the staff and doctor!

I have been going to La palma Vet for almost 9 years now. Dr. Angelo and his staff are very kind to all of my fur babies. They really care about all the animals that come in and want to help make them get well. Dr. Angelo can always figure out what is wrong and start treating them right away. I would not take my pets to any other veterinarian hospital. La palma Vet is by far number one in my book

So far so great! My brother-in-law recommended me this place after I got a puppy for companion and my first appointment was a bit messy at first since I didn’t know how they function because of COVID but after that, the staff made sure to be clearly about what was necessary and how their deposits worked and I was happy my pup was going to be with the staff since they all treated him good! Great place!

I highly recommend La Palma Veterinary Hospital. I have been taking my car to them for over 10 years and they have always treated her with great care. The staff are all extremely friendly and professional.

Dr. Angelo Castillo and his staff are exceptional in their practice and service. I went in after my husky was feeling extreme back pain. I left the clinic feeling reassured and confident in the treatment plan given.

Dr. Angelo is the best! He is very compassionate and really cares about his patients. He is wonderful with all our furry babies and takes good care of them. He takes the time to follow up on his patients making sure everything is okay. His staff go above and beyond. Special thanks to Tina who has been very helpful on the phone. We highly recommend this practice to those in need of vet care.

This place is reliable and honest and good value and responsive and good service for my pet and to get them checked out if needed, but very strict on wearing a Mask so make sure to bring one with you and they don’t even offer a mask but it’s required. Also have to talk to them on the phone outside of the building in the heat over 80 Degrees which feels hot in-person. Overall, I believe 4 Stars is just my 2 cents!

They are wanted $400 deposit for $150 bloodwork. Before they even look at or see my pets. Receptionist cannot properly explain why they require this deposits. Previous visits this was not required. Maybe they just don’t like me.

5 stars. I think this vet clinic deserves more than 5. Dr. Angelo really cares about his patients. Not only during visits but also with follow ups after. I know every time I have to bring my cats they will be taken care of. Thank you.

Last week we had a very scary emergency with our dog como. Taking him here early enough saved us a trip to the emergency room and a lot of money. They were extremely compassionate and patient with our very not so relaxed and energetic dog. I would suggest this vet to anyone and feel blessed to had stuck with them through this event!

Really love this veterinary, particularly Dr. Lee (?) who took really great care of my cat, Bojack, before I had to let him go due to his condition. She always gave me honesty and told me exactly how severe his condition was. She did everything she could and even docked my payment for his care because she knew he needed to go to an emergency hospital. I will take all of my animals to La Palma Veterinary because of their professionalism and genuine care for the animals they serve.

I never leave reviews but I need to for this.. I came here to get my cat Spayed and they were charging way too much for additional fees. They let me know it was going to be $165.00 for the spay for my cat and it would be an additional $30-50 if she was in heat which seems reasonable. When I was signing papers, there were additional fees for pre-anesthetic blood work which stated on the paper the additional fee could be $75-190. Pain medication would also be an additional $28-50. The Cone collar is another $15 and an IV Catheterization is another $35. They also have a mandatory upcharge if they see a flea it will be another $15 even after I explained my cat already had been treated for fleas 4 days before and had been taking medication. I was not comfortable with my cat taking extra flea meds in case it caused harm but I had to agree. Obviously you don't have to check yes for everything, but if you want your pet comfortable you have to do whats best. Another thing is when I was waiting outside I had to call first due to Covid which is fine, but I let them know i was there for my appointment and they took a while to reply asking for my name. Everyone there is not welcoming and not friendly. I couldn't imagine how they would treat my cat if I had left her there. On the other hand I do recommend my primary vet if you need a great Vet tech: Animal Medical Center of Orange. they charge $195 for a spay and it comes with everything I stated above NO ADDITIONAL FEES...and I know for a fact they are professional, kind and always remember my cat, Boba. yeah... I should've just gone here instead of trying to save $30. I ended up saving way more.

If we move back to this area I would definitely have this Vet as our Vet of choice. I have been breeding Labrador Retrievers for 10 years now and we had a pup who had a horrible reaction to a dewormer. Since we live out of state, Alabama to be exact we were told by our Vet back home he was safe to travel and he had made a full recovery but I'm such worry wart that I wanted little Max vetted one more time and a full blood panel so he could go home with updated Lab work. These folks got us in to be seen first thing in the morning and come to find out the owner of the clinic graduated from Auburn University just south of where we now live. Max was seen by the owners son and he was so thorough and so accommodating to our request for making sure Max had made the trip safely and healthy ????. I traveled with Max and knew he had traveled well but I just wanted to make sure he was perfect as I want everyone of my pups to go home????❤???? in perfect condition. Max's Labs were perfect and I was so elated. The Staff in the office we're nice and welcoming and if we travel with a litter to CA for personal deliveries as we prefer to do these folks are my go to Vets. And I am hoping my Sister in Law likes them as much as I do.

Treated our dog when he dislocated his leg. Now treating our sick kitty, gives us lots of hope. Cheaper than other overpriced vets yet you get quality care. Staff are extremely nice and professional. Dr Angelo really cares about his patients. Highly recommend please go here if your pets have any problems. :D

I had to put my dog down and they were so compassionate and caring . My dog ended up passing before they gave her meds to put her to sleep. He rushed her back to us to spend her last moments with us

Very disorganized . If this is not your regular vet make sure u take all the records with u . Took dogs for vaccines did not tell me they needed all their other vaccine records. They were not going to give them the vaccines until i sent them proof of rabies vaccine. Told them what vaccines i needed on the phone and under quoted me. Cash only is a problem had to run to atm to get $$$ . Will not be returning back will stick with vetco for low vaccines

I recently decided to give La Palma Vet a try, after getting my new kitten "Bo", & not being satisfied with my previous vet. La Palma seemed like a good choice, after looking through their website & reviews. I was hesitant to do a review, until i had been there a few times. I feel confident now, that this is a great vet & I will be switching permanently to them. The prices are fair & they don't even charge you for a recheck on your pets condition. I did a ton of research on my kittens symptoms, as to not get bamboozled- & everything the Dr. told me was right on par with the many articles I had read. His explanations were clear & thorough. It really feels the whole staff is in the business for the right reasons & genuinely care about animal's well being. They are very accommodating, especially during the pandemic. I absolutely love this place & highly recommend it! Thank you La Palma Vet! Kudos!

This DR. Is out for your money. Test after test to tell me the same thing I told the Dr. and all he wanted to do is test. I went to another Vet and we solved the problem at no cost because it was such a simple problem and I didn’t have to bring my dog in. If you know who I am Dr. All he needed was Yearly flea treatment.

I love this place. It might not look like much from outside but this place is much better than the fancier places I've been to in l.a and south OC I took my Lucy here for some treatment and she ended passing away, not only they were kind , patient and professional I received a personalized card from them later. Recently I took my Charlie for a routine check-up and they were very good to him. ❤️

Needed to find a vet after moving from the IE. The reviews online are what got me through the door. Don't be deceived by the exterior because the building doesn't look great, but you can't judge a book by the cover. The staff was helpful and friendly. They all took great care of our dogs. Went for exams, vaccines, glands, and nail trims all on the first visit.

I Will be forever grateful to all the staff who works here. After having to put our beloved cat down the vet and staff where so kind to me and my family. A few days later we received a card that all the staff signed with our cats paw print ????. It hangs on our fridge ❤. Thank you so much for your kindness. I highly recommend this veterinarian to anyone and everyone.

When my cat needed to get fixed they had the best price and they did a good job.

AWFUL service! My cat was DENIED SERVICE our cat had been deathly Ill and they denied to see my cat over a $45 pet visit I could pay in 2 days but I was unsure if he would be able to hold onto my next pay day with blank checks , ID and credit card they already have and have USED on file. My family and I have been comming here for over a decade ! here bringing in countless animals of our own including stray animal also recommending friends for the past decade making a huge contribution to this business. To see them deny a sick animal is not only sad but heartless we will no longer take any of our animals to this clinic who only cares about money not the loyalty of their clients or animals.
