We love the kennel when we come to the park. However we can’t come and enjoy the park without the kennel. When will it open?

Kennels still closed. This is ridiculous.

Still closed due to "pandemic" they say; however, the parks are open and going at "full blast"; probably trying to make more money without having to spend extra.

I loved my experience at the Disneyland Kennel Club. The staff was very nice, accommodations were adequate, and, although it was not my pup's favorite experience (no staff interaction or play time with other pups), it allowed me to take him with me to Anaheim, and visit him throughout the day while I was at the parks, which he appreciated. They even have a little side yard to potty and exercise, which is half covered to avoid getting wet in the rain. Overall, it was a great experience.

Tips from our experience: *Go on their website to see the vaccination requirements. - They need to be up to date. *If you need additional vaccinations, have the staff at the vet call the kennel while you are at the appointment to confirm what is needed. (Our vet did this just to confirm we had everything we needed prior to taking the 8 hour drive). We brought their whole folders that had vaccination records and adoption paperwork just in case. It turned out to be beneficial for the staff to match our dog with the vaccination paperwork (we had his name changed after adopting him so some of his papers did not match). *Bring your dog's favorite toy(s). While you are having fun at "the happiest place on earth," your dog will likely be confused and having that toy may bring them some much needed comfort. *Take the breaks to visit your dog. I believe they recommend returning every 3-4 hours. Our dogs peed a lot when we went to visit them. I would hate to risk them getting a UTI because I didn't want to take a 20 minute break to take care of them. *Understand that the staff do not know your dog. It is our responsibility as the dog owners to take care of them. *Bring dog food. Our dogs didn't eat much while they were at the kennel but we gave them the option. We brought our own dog food and dog food bowls. Our experience: We used this kennel for our two dogs (Akita Inu and Lab/border collie mix) while we visited Disneyland. We called ahead to be sure that we had all of the vaccinations and paperwork they would need to be stay here. They were upfront with how often we should be back to let the dogs out and we did our best to follow the recommendations. They have an area in the back to let your dogs stretch their legs and go to the bathroom. Every time we took our dogs back, the area was clean and there was no dog poop or anything which was fantastic and told us that they cleaned it frequently throughout the day. They only have a few spots for larger dogs so I definitely recommend arriving before the park opens if you're planning on bringing larger dogs. When we visited, our dog took up 2 out of the 4 larger kennels. They do have quite a few smaller kennels as well. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. Our experience at Disneyland was not what I had expected, but the staff at the Kennel were fantastic. We were so grateful to have it available to us and would use the service again.

Wish there was a better area for the dogs to stretch their legs, but overall cheap and convenient place to house the pooch while at Disney

Please if you truly love your pet do not bring it here. The Staff is as competent as a star fish out of water. …

They were great!!! Yes you come and walk and feed your dog, but they check on them often, and they are kept in a cool closed in environment. The staff was so nice and patient with me. Gimmie is my guide dog and they took their time to explain things to me and help me fill out the paperwork. They were always excited to see Gimmie and very friendly.

We had a great experience boarding our boxer here. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. As long as your dogs shot records are up to date you are good to go. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish to sign our dog in and get him settled. Very large kennels with water and a blanket included. We came back every 4-5 hours to let him out to walk/potty. Wish there was a bit more grass in the space to walk them but overall we were incredibly happy with our experience! It made our day at Disney stress free to know our pup was safe in an air conditioned space.

Staff here is great. $20 a day to rent a kennel for your little one. Gives you peace of mind knowing your pup is just outside the park. You can take the pup out for breaks during your visit; they recommend every 3-4 hours. We took ours out to lunch just outside the park and brought her back when it was time to return to the park. Staff gave us no time limits or problems. Please pick up your pets after park closing! Staff has to stay there until all pets are retrieved by their owners. What champs. Will definitely consider this place again, and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great place to keep your furry friends while visiting Disneyland. Make sure to have all current paperwork/shots up to date before arriving. Bring required paperwork at check in. Facility is air conditioned and the staff/cast members are amazing. Their is a small area in the kennel for your pets to relieve themselves, but be aware, the owners are responsible for checking in and taking pets out to relieve themselves. The staff is not authorized to handle any animals.

Great place to drop off your dog while at Disney. The staff is friendly and answer all your questions. Don't forget your papers to show your dog has their vaccinations or you cannot drop off.

We took our dog here for 4 full days. Staff very friendly and throughout. Many "secure" areas to get to the kennel and protocols so any fear of your dog getting out can be eased. It's an air conditioned facility. The boarding kennels are clean and they provide a blanket and water bowl. No food. It's easy to leave the parks and do an 2 minute walk to the kennels and take your pets out for a walk and bring them back, hassle free, no extra charge. We went during the week and there were barely any other pets in their 70 kennels, so we were not concerned each day making a mad dash to get a place. We would bring our pet back here again when we come back to Disney.

I can’t say enough about the Kennel Club! My dog was happy and actually wagged his tail going back. Though they only board, no interaction with the pet, it kept my dog calm, cool, and happy. The kennel area is sectioned off behind a sliding glass door which keeps the sound down for all of the animals. It was especially helpful when we went to check on our dog during the fireworks. Once I closed that glass door, I couldn’t hear the fireworks at all. (They also had a fan going at that time, but my dog was totally calm back there.) They made sure he had plenty of water, and they kept the section nice and cool. We made the mistake of leaving our dog’s vaccination records, and they were kind enough to let us print them there and give us the copy at the end of day. (Email address attached.) We checked on our dog every few hours- they suggest every 4. They have a small section off of the side of the kennels with a fire hydrant and some turf. We chose to walk our dog around at that time and there was a small section of grass/dirt just a few steps from the entrance. They let us bring our dog’s bed, a toy, and some food. They provide water and a fleece blanket if you don’t have anything. I wouldn’t do it any other way for our dog! Honestly the best customer service of disney.

The employees are pretty chill. I went a few weeks ago and they recommend coming around a few times to walk or just to see how your pet is doing. They even called me to say that its time to see/walk my dog. It sucks that the office doesnt have great insulation, especially in this heat... the employees had 1 table fan in the front office.

Pay 40 bucks for my two dogs just for staff not to feed walk or touch my dogs?! B.s. I rather pay good money for people who actually care. Disney too cheap to train or certify staff. They just collect your money at no work to them!

Staff was quite unhelpful. Information provided prior to coming, about needed paperwork, was lacking tremendously. Ended up having to leave again and find an alternative solution for the dogs. I wouldn't go back to the kennel.

Very nice kennel at Disneyland. The room is air conditioned for the fur babies and staff was wonderful!

The kennels are clean and air conditioned. The staff is really nice. They allow you to take a break from Disneyland as often as you like to take your pet for a walk and you may feed them. I do wish they had more of a dog park however. There is only a rather small area about the size of a 3 car garage all pets share to walk and go potty. Its concrete under a canopy with only a small area of about 4X4 feet of fake grass. There was adorable wall graphic from the dogs featured in The Lady and The Tramp movie. There were a couple benches as well. Nothing really much. I know Disney is capable of more. Maybe a Pluto themed dog park perhaps. All in all it's not a bad place at all to being your pet where you know they will be safe and given water. They even provide a Mickey blanket for them during their stay.

Never had a bad experience! The cast members are always nice and welcoming. We even see the same people now and then. When my pup got too excited to see me. She ended up spilling her water bowl everywhere. While I was out taking my pup for a walk, they replaced the blanket with a dry one and out mine in the dryer. Very kind people. I do wish they had a real grassy area and a bigger open area for the dogs with grass attached. But it still works! Its also nice and air conditioned inside! We went in July when it was 113° and inside it felt so nice.

Though I do wish it was a full daycare so I wouldn't have to worry about checking on him every few hours, it is still an excellent option! The staff are very nice and the room is air conditioned and quiet. We have been twice now and the second time the attendant even recognized Norman, even though it had been almost a month since we had been there! It's a great option, especially for people like me who live close, but not that close.

My wife and I bring our 3 chihuahuas here every time we visit with our annual passport. The staff here are awesome, friendly, and helpful. Signing in each day only takes about 10 minutes and then we can head into the parks for some fun! We visit our pups when we go from one park to the other, about every 3 or 4 hours. It's so much cheaper and easier than boarding them outside the parks. Easy drop off and pick up when we're ready to go back to the hotel. Make sure your paperwork for your animals is in order and meets the requirements needed to board them here. It's not that hard to do but we've seen people turned away because they didn't take the time to read the vaccination requirements that are easily obtainable on the kennel's web page. When we visit our pups throughout the day we can take them out for a walk in Downtown Disney or just nearby the kennels. Or we can choose to let them do their business in the secluded area provided out in the "backyard" area of the kennels. It's a shaded area around 50'X15' has benches for the humans, fire hydrants and "grass" for the animals. We will be back here again and again!

Do not go here!!!! I called a week before coming from out of state to verify everything I would need to board my dog. I then had my vet fax over the shot records to verify I had everything correct. I was told by Brian that my dog was golden and there shouldn't be any issue..... fast forward to today and I arrive at the kennel to be told that my dog is missing a booster shot and that they will not accept her. I bring up that their own employee told me it was ok. They then called 3 managers who all refused service even though like I said I sent them everything a week prior and spoke to an employee.... I then had to leave the park get back in my car and drive 30 mins out of my way to another kennel to board my dog. The new kennel said they would give her the missing shot so she could go to Disney the next day. The new place gave her the shot and sent the records via fax to Disney only to be told that it was now a different shot than what they told me originally. Also I was told by the manager that even with the correct shots they weren't going to take her because it was now a liability issue. This has now caused me to have to pay an additional $160 in dog sitting on my trip that was unplanned and also causing me to cut my day short at the park because all other kennels in the area close at 7pm. Also I wasn't offered anything to make up for this hassle other than the manager "assuring" me that the employee BRIAN would be talked to. Also I was given nothing but what I call nice attitude by the staff as if all of this was my fault.

opens 30 minutes prior to the earliest park opening time and typically closes 30 minutes after the latest park closing time, so check the park times when you think you are going. It is "unmanned" so you have to come back to feed your animal and take it to the bathroom. The pens are good sizes and there is a fenced off area with fake grass for you to take your dog.

Have a pet that is not a service dog? Bring them here for Disney to take care for them! Remember to get your pet before you leave!
