Tried to give my Dog back to me soaking wet. And tried to charge me for a bath and brush before I saw him. Terrible service.

The Camp Bow Wow staff in Anaheim are professional, patient and caring. They are really good about giving me an update when I call to check on my big boy. I have peace of mind when I am out of town because he is having a blast playing with other dogs and the staff. The fact that I can watch him on camera during his playtime in the yard is an added bonus and addicting at times (lol).. The few minor issues I have had involving my dog were quickly resolved through communicating with the front desk receptionist. I am so glad I have been able to use them the past year, otherwise my poor pup would be locked down in a dog run when I go out of town. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for your hard work!

Wasn’t a fan. There doesn’t seem to be anywhere private for a daycare dog to go to get away unless they are put in time out, which I think was complete isolation. My dog did daycare for five hours, and was fresh and clean when we dropped him off and came home smelling completely like urine, and now my vehicle has urine smell. There was always someone in the video feed in the room, but they were never interacting with the dogs. My dog seems more stressed from this experience when we intended for it to be a day off for him.

We felt safe knowing our dog was supervised when playing and had a great time.

Love that my dog has a great time. Super convenient that a bath can be added on at the end of her day care day, so I pick up a tired but happy and clean pup.

My dog Rocky stayed at this facility to board for 4 days from Saturday morning to Wendesday. This was the first and last time that I will be bringing my pet here. Let me take the time to explain why I feel so poorly about this place. I normally don't leave negative reviews for places because I know that sometimes these reviews and comments can negatively impact a business. Especially, when you're just hearing my side of the story and most times businesses can't properly defend their stand point via yelp. 1. When we picked up my dog, he was very quite and showed signs of lethargy. I figured he was just tired from playing. Soon after, my dog started to vomit and also had severe diarrhea. I called the boarding facility and asked them if my dog had showed any of these symptoms while boarding. The person replied, "we had 3 other clients call us with the same concern. Your dog was not eating his breakfast but he would eat his dinner. You should take your dog to the vet if he is not well". I find this to be very concerning because I would think that if you're leaving and trusting someone to care for your pet that they would communicate to you if your pet is not doing well. The only reason we found out this information was becuase we asked. Secondly, I don't believe that this place was truthful with the information they provided me with. I find it very hard to believe that the dog all of a sudden started having vomiting and diarrhea after I picked him up. Your guess is just as good as mine when it comes to: Sanitation, service, and over all care. 2. My dog came back home with swollen feet and a present yiest infection between the toes. This means that they do not look over the pets before taking them out to play and that they do not keep the floors dry for the pets. I'm assuming that after rinsing the floors they continue to let the pets play over the wet surfaces. Sure this can be pleasant if it's a hot day but, wet paws for long periods of time = bacteria growth 3. We requested that our pet have a bath before coming home but the dog still had an oder when we brought him home. Take in mind, that we picked up Rocky at 10am, so there is no way the dog got dirty right before coming home. In conclusion, I think that the owner or manager should strategize a game plan to keep the staff regularly keeping pets health in mind and the importance of client communication. I would be more than happy than to speak to the Manager/Owner about my concern. I chose not call again because of the answer we got from one of the representatives. It led me to believe that they don't care nor that they take ownership for a problem that happened during their watch.  I feel that it's the manager or owners duty to speak to a clients when there is a concern so that he or she can make an adjustment if there is a problem with the way the business is ran.

Every staff person is welcoming and reassuring. My dog, Joey, gets anxious around people but her tail wags once she’s going in to the facility and is wagging when I pick her up. I’ve left her for daycare a couple times and have used their boarding services to leave her overnight from one night to ten nights. She comes home tired and just fine. It feels good knowing I’m leaving her with people that genuinely care, it’s shows.

I am sure this is a great place to take care of the dogs. However, I am very disappointed at the poor communication of availability. It took us 30-40 mins to fill out the online application form but then it turned out that they don't have Day Care for Saturdays and Sundays. When we asked for Monday, they said the waiting list for interviews is quite long and it would take 10 days to get an interview spot. I wish it included such information on their website so we wouldn't have spent time on the application with disclosure of our information. Disappointing...

This is a great place to take your pup. We took our pup here on Sat May 15th. My puppy loved it and had a great time. He was very exhausted when he got home. Staff was great and very friendly. They answered all of our questions and believe me we had tons of them. Drop off and pick up was a very smooth process. I would recommend taking your furry family member to this place. We will be back!!

My dog, my baby Benji loves Camp Bow Wow! He’s attended daycare and boarded with Camp bow wow quite a few times. We have not have any issues and are able to view Benji during daycare on their camera app which is amazing. He seems like he has a great time every time :) What I like about most and think is important is that Camp Bow Wow does NOT discriminate against certain breed (pitbulls) like many many other dog daycares. That is just wrong. Camp bow wow will conduct an interview first which is really fair. Thank you for that! My dog is a such loving and friendly dog. He loves to socialize with other dogs and it breaks my heart that he was discriminated against by other daycares because he is a mixed pitbull breed. I’ve even been asked by other daycares to have his paperwork changed from “pitbull mixed” to “black mouth curr mixed” so they can accept him since they feel he is such a sweet dog upon the interview. I will never do such a thing. Thank you Camp bow wow for your great ethically policies! Benji loves it here!

We had a wonderful experience at Camp Bow Wow. They were very customer friendly, loved all the dogs, took great care of our energetic Boxer. We never had to worry about our dog. Very professional and reasonably priced.

We love taking our dog here. Benito has a great time interacting. I like the fact that the staff takes the time to get to know him because he can be a little fearful at times with strangers

I liked how an employee came out and took the time to ask questions about my dog and his feeding schedule. My only concern is that I added in grooming to my boarding service. I told an employee to only give my dog a bath/brush and to not do the nail trimming because he is too finicky when his paws are touched. They listened to my concerns, however, when I went to pick him up from camp, he was not brushed thoroughly. I don't know if it was because my dog gave them a hard time. He's never had any problems at previous groomers though. They just dropped him off with me and went back inside the building. I don't even know how he did while he was boarding and now I'm having to spend more money for another grooming appointment. Update: The owner contacted me today for more information and I'm incredibly impressed by their customer service! I've only used their boarding services but Camp Bow Wow truly does go above and beyond to take care of my pet while I'm away from home.

What I liked about our first experience with Camp Bow Wow was once my dogs cleared the their thorough screening process, I found the overall experience to be very convenient and the staff were great! Each of the Camp Staff Members I spoke with either on the phone or in person seemed very knowledgeable, experienced, and that they care about their campers. The fact I could look in on my dogs throughout the day via CBW’s webcams provided great peace of mind while my dogs were spending time away at Camp Bow Wow! Very happy that I now have a second “home” I can take my dogs when needed.

I absolutely LOVE Camp Bow Wow! The fact that everyone knows our pup and is as excited to see her as she is to see them says so much about the staff. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and attentive to the dogs, their preferences, and how they play. Plus the ability to check in on my dog during the day via the doggy cams is especially nice! I know my pup is in great hands whenever I drop her off and that's the best feeling for days when I can't play with her myself.
