Best Vet office hands down! My family and I have been taking our fur babies to Dr V aka Dr Doolittle for over 48 years. We recently lost our 17 year old cat name Honey. The entire office was compassionate during an emotional time. Honestly, you don’t receive this level of care from our human counterparts including a wonderful bedside manner. Thank you again Team Vanderhoof ????

We've been taking our St. Bernards to see Dr. Vanderhoof for the past 7 years, and we are always impressed. The entire staff shows genuine concern for our dogs, we rarely have a long wait after arriving, their prices are reasonable, and the level of care is top notch. We are always highly recommending Vanderhoof Veterinary to friends in our neighborhood!

Not taking any new appointments for new clients and apparently has not been for the last 2 years? They are only serving those who have gone here before. There is no recourse to get an appointment if someone else cancels, or to even have a prospect of getting any veterinary care for my pet. Not sure why this place is so exclusive? You'd think theyd care enough about providing care for animals and actually schedule new appointments and not just fulfilling their existing customers. Something still doesn't sit well with me here. How is it possible that Vanderhoof is only booked to mid-September but then wont take any new appointments? And haven't for 2 years? Im pretty sure I was lied to. This is a pet hospital. No one knows when their pets will get sick or injured, so unless they are only seeing older animals and only writing prescriptions, I do not see how I it would not be possible to schedule a visit.

I called here with an urgent situation and they told me they were not taking on any new clients, even though I live just a couple blocks away. Not booking ahead for the future... Just no new clients ever at all. My cat had a serious health condition they could have helped with.

Years ago Dr Vanderhoof took care of my terminally ill baby and now that I just said good bye to my ????dog after after the last one( not at Dr Vandehoof)...how I miss the compassionate care of his staff and the Vets working that day. Can't say enough wonderful things as they are the gold standard for me. Broken hearted I didn't get back up there????

Have been taking my cats here for four years. Quite expensive but they get the job done timely and efficiently. My cats are scared of the vet because of needles but once they get inside they relax. Would recommend if you're willing to shell out a little extra cash for good service.

When I first adopted my dog Shrimp the Humane Society says you can get a free vet check and Vanderhoof was recommended and was the closest to me. The vets and staff have always been accommodating and have always reassured me that Shimp is doing well on his check ups. I would highly recommend them for their service and the way they treat your pet with the same love and care if it was their own

Sincere concern for my cat. Money was not the primary interest as with many vets. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced along with true concern for the animals.

I love this vet and am very sad I had to move. I saw Dr. Bronwyn Dawson who is a very knowledgeable pet owner. She took care of my rabbits and worked to build a relationship with me and always gave me the best tips for my bunnies. If you are an exotic pet owner, I highly recommend her. She really cares and even worked me in immediately when my rabbit had an emergency.

I just picked up my sweet baby boy from surgery to remove his eye. Vanderhoof Vet winded up cleaning his teeth and pulling 5 teeth at no charge since he was already under. I drive all the way from Monrovia to see Dr. Vanderhoof and team and it is well worth it! Thank you!

Vanderhoof Veterinary clinic is a great place. We've taken all 8 dogs we've had there and they have always been kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient with ailments of all kinds. Love Dr. Vanderhoof and Dawson. Great people!!! Staff is awesome too!!!

They have been my dogs veterinarian for about 10 years. My dog likes them and that's all that matters. At this point I'm also told by them that they are not taking new patients at this time.

Vets are extremely knowledgeable and magical. Even my most nervous dogs just relax and let them examine them.

My fur baby was treated very well by,Dr.Dawson and staff.

For the past 10 years this veterinarian hospital has cared for both my kitties, RIH Nala and Oreo. The entire staff displays patience, love and empathy. Albeit the prices for some of the services are higher than others, I'd say it's worth it for the care I received for my kitties.

Always thoughtful and kind. Doctors Dawson and Vanderhoof are both very knowledgeable and accurate with diagnoses of my very old dog. I am very loyal to this office and I recommended them whenever possible.
