Under One Woof is under new ownership and the experience is not the same. The charge for grooming my dog has gone from $65 to $74 and the grooming that he received was not what he has received in the past. We also tried to call twice to get an update on when he would be ready and only got voicemail. When we did pick him up and tried to make a follow up appointment for 6 weeks we were told that the earliest appointment would be in January. We are repeat customers for over 2 years and have never experienced this kind of customer service before.

Pricey, but they do a good job and have room to keep your dogs if you can't pick then up right away. The front desk staff are great. Update: We stopped going there. The prices remain high but the quality is uneven. We never saw the same groomer twice. The students seem to do all the grooming, so we were paying master groomer prices for student work.

Fantastic experience. Scheduling was easy. On the day of, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Their owner greeted me and took the time to go over all the options. Upon pickup my dogs looked great and seemed very happy.

They do a very nice job with our dogs nails! We also take our pups for their dental cleaning. They always come back to us nice and relaxed.

Had my dog groomed here for the first time. Haircut was really good. Had a consultation about what I wanted to get for my dog. Usually when I get my dog back he is very nervous and looked like he got traumatized by the experience but not this time with Under One Woof. Seemed like my dog had a good experience and I got a report card after of how my dog did. The groomer also met up with me afterward and told me how the grooming went and if I had any questions. I would recommend Under One Woof to any pet parent. :)

We have been taking our pets for grooming here a very long time, we went someplace else once because it was way cheaper but they tortured our cat, but this place is absolutely amazing, they have never had to tie our cat down and he always looks wonderful, love love love this place, worth every penny!

Very friendly and naturally they’re all great with the puppers. I find their pricing to be very reasonable. I use them for nail service on my lil’ pupper. He’s not a fan of his nails getting cut but the staff has a great touch and they’re very quick too. He comes out very happy and never seems scarred or angry. With COVID-19 they have a simple and pretty efficient system that has the humans wait out front while the puppers are cared for. All told I wait maybe 10 minutes. I stringy recommend Under One Woof for grooming needs.

After researching and considering other doggy daycares in the area we decided on under one woof. Not only do they have the best pun, they have the best service. They know who our fur baby is as soon as we walk in the door. They're quick getting him in and out. They have a camera we can drop into anytime but I would trust them regardless.

I’ve been taking my cat to Under One Woof for claw trimming for the past four years. Last week, when I dropped her off for the usual service, I didn’t recognize anyone but thought nothing of it. I picked her up not realizing something was wrong, but when I got her home, she seemed extremely uncomfortable. I checked her paws and was horrified to find that her nails were clipped so short that I could barely see them but worse, she was clearly in pain. She has since been acting very scared and even hiding. Of course I called as soon as I discovered this problem, but the owner of the shop never spoke to me and never returned my call - not even to hear me out. Since there is no agency in the Bay Area that regulates this kind of business and since I can’t report them, I can only say that if you care about the treatment of your pet, do not bring them to Under One Woof.

i can't recommend this place enough. we mostly use them for occasional day care but we've also boarded our dog there during vacations. the staff are excellent, our dog loves them, and the open space the dogs spend most of the day in is a great distraction for a home sick pooch.

Did not go as short as I wanted. Did not do clean shave in private area as instructed and failed to do my baby boys ears as ordered. The first time I went there was good. The second time they dropped the ball totally. I called back a week later to express my concerns and they offered a discussion with the groomer on the next scheduled visit. They did not offer to redo. So I will not take him there again. It’s hard to get good customer service nowadays. Going back to my old place. It’s just further away.

I am very torn writing this review because for a very long time under one wolf was my groomer for my toy cockapoo. Unfortunately, my dog is an elderly, blind dog and I have noticed over the last year small oddities when she would come home from the groomer. One time she came home acting very strange in her behaviors. Another time she came home completely and utterly dying of thirst But unwisely, I looked at these as simple one offs and continue to take my dog to this groomer. Unfortunately things came to a head at her last visit when we were told at picking up our dog that the groomer “may have” nipped her with the shears and if there was any issue to please let them know and they would handle the vet bills. Upon trying to take my dog for a walk I realized that she was not putting any pressure on her leg at all and was crying out in pain. When I called the groomer to find out exactly what happened the story change from “may have“to “yes well we did nip her in three different places. One place under her dewclaw and twice going into the pad of her paw but she wasn’t bleeding”. I find this to be completely appalling! Why, if my elderly and blind dog was giving you a hard time did you not stop the haircut rather than continue to try and cut at her to the point of injuring her. More importantly, Why were you not upfront from the very beginning and let me know what happened to my dog rather than saying well it maybe happened. Completely unprofessional and evident of them not doing well with elderly or special-needs dogs. I will never be taking my dog back here and I strongly suggest if you have an elderly or special-needs dog you find somewhere else.

Highly recommend Under One Woof for grooming. They are true professionals. Our doodle Astro has never looked better! They keep a record of his grooming details. He grows out nicely. They greet him before the grooming which is so nice, although he’s not a fan, everyone is so kind!

Friendly staff plus they have a webcam. Clean space. Recently refurbed the main play area. Plus some separate areas for smaller dogs if needed.

We've been going to Seiji for 10 years. The Japanese style grooming is adorable and impeccable. They run a very clean shop and the staff are wonderful.

This review is for the daycare/pet sitting experience. My dog (Gina) is new to daycare and experienced some separation anxiety, which led to a bit of barking. Thanks to their webcam, I saw the caretaker in the room (Marcy, I believe) menace, scold, and spray my dog with water a number of times, before finally taking her away to what I presume to be a quiet space in the back. This is not how you should acclimate a dog to a new and stressful environment. All my dog knows in this situation is that she's stressed out and getting yelled at by a stranger for being stressed, thus furthering a vicious cycle. I'd honestly rather have my dog in a kennel than subject her to mistreatment at the hands of underinformed, poorly trained staff to whom the concept of positive reinforcement is foreign. Even if the employee was having a difficult day, it is in no way acceptable to take this out on another's dog.
