Compassionate, caring, and have exceeded our expectations when we have had very I'll pets. We have gone here for our veterinary care for years.

I am the human half of a therapy dog team at West Plains Elementary. Prior to being awarded a service dog, the organization wants to know that you have available veterinarian care. I asked several K9 handlers of professional working teams who they recommended and all said this clinic. I have had Lucy for several years and she is required to be seen frequently due to the nature of her job. Both Dr. Talburt and Dr. Gunter have been tremendous to work with. They understand the nature of her job as well as the relationship I have with Lucy. I appreciate the care and concern they have displayed in all the interactions they have had with her. I cannot recommend this clinic enough for their top notch care, compassion, and responsiveness. I am fortunate to have incredible veterinarian care so close to home. Thank you!

Staff was very affectionate to my fur baby. Dr Gunter was friendly and caring. They called the next day to check how shadow was doing and addressed my concerns. I was pleased with our 1st visit there. N they gave shadow treats for being good.

I adopted a dog last October & I needed a Vet & I found Talburt Animal & I called them & they took my, Oliver as a patient. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a good Vet.

I have taken cats and dogs to see Dr. Gunter and Dr. Talburt and both of the Vets are extremely kind, considerate and courteous. Their office staff goes above and beyond to help you and get the proper care for your pets. I have had to go to the clinic with routine visits as well as emergency care, and all of my experiences have been wonderful! I highly recommend this Vet Clinic to anyone who is wanting quality and considerate care for your pet and you!!!

We live out of town and needed a vet for our dog. Her hear was swelling up with blood. They were able to see us the day I called and they drained her ear. Unfortunately it filled up with blood again the following day but I don't blame the vet.

This clinic still haunts me after what they did to my beautiful girl - Its been 5 years & i still cry on a regular basis about how they let her die alone after telling us they would keep her to monitor her - they closed up shop & left her alone in a cold pen to die - and gave us attitude when we asked why she was left alone - and on top of this devastating day - they charged us over $600- they murdered my best friend & I hope they rot - I can NEVER have my girl back because of them-

I called and requested price for neutering my male cat. It was a requirement to have a first appointment to establish as a patient and got rabies vaccination during first visit. So I paid approximately $50 for that and made second appointment for neuter which I was told specifically would cost under $100. Still higher than other veterinarians but I was willing because this vet could get us in right away. The other vets had a month wait time. Now I understand why. I picked my cat up and went to the counter to pay and was told the total for today’s visit including pain medicine (that was another cost that would bring the bill up to nearly $100 I was informed in advance) will be $170! I said I would never have agreed to that and I was told it would be under $100 for neuter and pain medication. So they “let” me pay $100 now and can pay the other 70 some dollars in early April. I’ll pay it because I’m honest but I thought people deserve to be forewarned. There’s a reason you can get in so quickly. I’ll never use this veterinarian again.

Dr. Gunter was amazing with my grandpupper, Kooper!!! Kooper is extremely anxious and doesn't care to meet new people, but by the end of the appointment, Dr. Gunter, and his assistant, had won Kooper and my daughter and me over!!!

I called to schedule an appointment but didn't because the woman who answered the phone wasn't very polite and wasn't very helpful about my kitten

have had dogs all my life..my little fubaby was hurt and I was at a loss for the first time in my life. grew up on a farm so we took care of our own animals.I had no idea what was wrong or what to do this time..doc got her in..found the problem..and had us on our way after doing a treatment and getting some meds.

The staff is awesome. They have taken care of our pets for about 20 years. The vets care about the animals and it shows. Someone usually calls the next day to check on your pet's well being after a procedure.

I was out of town and my dog got loose and got infested with ticks. They seen me almost immediately and got him taken care of or that special kind of tick pill for that area. After 30 minutes they just were dropping dead off of him! I will forever be thankful to this Clinic

Best vet in West Plains. I take my animals to the Willow branch, but they know my name and my pets' names here. Absolutely love them.

They helped me with understanding what was wrong with my dog. They were very friendly with my dog, who's my everything.

The absolute best around. I wouldn't, and don't trust my pets health to anyone else.

It's a good place to take your pets when your pets when they aren't feeling good.

Always friendly, helpful and compassionate. Some locals mention the pricing is above average, but these folks are well worth what they charge if this is the case. You really get what you pay for. The staff seem to be as structured as a medical (non-veterinary) clinic and are thorough and comprehensive in their approach to animal medicine.
