Some time back, I noticed my kitty had managed to lick all the hair from her belly. After seeing a different vet, their quick analysis suggested allergies. So we changed up the diet and hoped for the best. A few months down the road and a move from Oregon, it had managed to get worse and she was licking hair from her back and front legs. That was when I found Nixa animal hospital. The staff was so friendly and professional. They were quick to get us in and I was blown away at how clean and cozy the office was. They managed to get all the appropriate tests for my cat and had the results for me in just a few days. We determined it was stress, not allergies, and they recommended a calming probiotic. They also did regular check-in phone calls until I noticed an improvement in kitty's condition. Highly recommend this place and staff for your pet's needs.

Dr Molly is phenomenal. We have been seeing her since the Nixa Animal Hospital opened. We currently live in Hollister and make the 45 minute drive to bring our dog to see her because her and her team are the best and we always trust her opinion.

They are treating your pets by curbside service. Melanie greeted me and took our dog back for his exam and shots. Dr. Maggie called me with Baloo's report card. Melanie returned Baloo and brought out his medication. They brought out a card reader for payment.

I moved to Springfield and still bring my pets to Dr. Molly. Hands down one of the best vets I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She's so knowledgeable and so good with my babies.

We took our pup there when he was sick. After bloodwork they advised he had Lepto and for us to treat it as such. Once they received the full results they knew it wasn’t lepto but advised us to continue treating it as such because he was feeling better from the antibiotics they provided. A month passed and he began deteriorating again. We decided to take him to another clinic that family had used. He’s now been fighting his heart out. If we had not found a new place he would be dead. Upon complaint to the facility they refused any sort of refund and made us seem like our anger wasn’t valid. Wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone who cares about their pets.

This was our 1st time here. Dog, who is now 9 weeks-old, went in for a well puppy visit. He received his inital shots and a physical exam. Our Vet, Molly Ramsey was very informative and it is obvious she loves her work. Lots of advise and encouragement.

Top notch service all the way around. They go above and beyond to check in after issues. My pup cut his foot very deep and had to have stitches. They checked on him several times and answered all my overly concerned questions without hesitation. Truly wondeful people.

Dr. Molly has been a vital part of our lives and our pets lives. We adore her. She is always so kind, and never rushes. We feel like we are the most important people/family in the office when she is working with us and our pets. She genuinely listens to our questions or concerns and is always willing to educate or explain. Dr. Maggie is thorough but more abrupt and rushed. I felt like I was bothering her (during an appointment) and she was pretty condescending as i was sharing my concerns and asking questions during my appointment. Its a great clinic and I'm sure everyone has their preferences. The staff is always so kind and friendly too.

My pup Dega needed a dental cleaning and tooth extraction when he fractured his tooth. Dr Ramsey was great! I was kept informed on how Dega was doing, and his mouth looks amazing. Best yet, he no longer hurts. Nixa Animal Hospital offered us quick, compassionate care. I highly recommend them!
