First impression was great. Dr. and staff seem very personable and knowledgeable. Owning 3 pugs it seems like we never get out of an office visit without spending at least $550. First visit here out the door for less then $250, we were happily surprised. We will be back!

This is a wonderful place to take your pets. The staff truly loves animals and they've been extremely kind and courteous to my family and me. On top of that, their prices are reasonable. I love this place!

These nice people are efficient, loving and know what is needed in any given circumstance..but never appear on overload or pass their work or personal frustrations on to the parents. They never overbook, although they have a large thriving practice. A spirit of calm reassurance always greets us. We love Dr. Williams, Hunter, Taylor and Taylor, yes they have two! One day We had a very serious emergency ….Dr. Williams did not know us until that day, he took us in upon arrival and immediately did surgery for my Josephine. They turned a frightening situation that day into one Josephine and I are so thankful for. Grace is much more than just a name on their building. It’s what lies within….

Best vet hospital in Tennessee. Great staff and vet. They have everything. Just recently took my sick poodle there. Vet checked and also total grooming. They are expensive-look at the size of the place-that means high overhead. And some items are doubled like the flea and tick meds. Even a regular medical Dr. Will work with the patient regarding payment plan-but vets want everything up front. Well if u can't pay the full amt you better find another vet (they won't treat your dog).

This place is incredible. I do not even know where to start. They are caring, compassionate and go above and beyond their job and duty. You absolutely are making a mistake if you do not use them as your vet. I cannot thank Grace enough.

Don't forget they do grooming! Liz Sullins will set your pup up with a slick new hairdo and treat your fur babies with love and care. Vet is professional and takes great care of our pups when we need it.

I tried Grace Animal Hospital after moving back downtown from East Memphis. One of the girls (blonde long hair) at the front desk was beyond rude one morning as I was dropping my pet off for a surgery. As a result did a quick 180 out the door with my pet and decided to drive further out East to my former veterinarian office. It was a good decision as the experience there was what one would expect from a professional animal practice.

Very good vet! Super kind people and they’re very professional. I had a bad experience with my last vet , but Grace Animal Hospital is very honest. They’re helping me get on track to getting my Bear feeling better and for that I’m forever grateful. I’ll be going here and only here from now on.

My dog had been acting very strange for a couple of days and I was going out of town that weekend and would be boarding her. I called my regular vet and was told that there was nothing they could do because they were booked for two weeks. I heard that same response from other the other vet offices I called. I was very upset because this wasn’t just a checkup or shots, I had a real concern for her. When I called Grace Animal hospital, the girl was very sweet and asked me if I wanted an am or pm appt. I was in tears at that point and appreciated the compassion she showed me. She said that while they do take appointments, they would always work a patient in if there was an immediate need. They got my business.

This is the BEST in all areas and I have been to many others outside Memphis . Drs Hornbeck and Williams are professional , will avoid needless tests but are thorough when needed. I find their prices reasonable and have paid more for worse care. Special kudos today to Stephanie and Genna ( sp?) for care for my 2 anxious Maltese ( because of big dogs in waiting area ) May everyone at Grace receive good Karma because they sure send it out !!

Cat owners, beware Dr. Hornsby! My first experience at this office with Dr. Williams was great. Both him and the nurse were very gentle with my tiny, delicate elderly cat. Unfortunately, when I came in here the second time, instead of Dr. Williams, my cat was seen by Dr. Hornsby and a different nurse. The doctor was extremely rough handling my cat. He grabbed her by the scruff and aggressively put her on the back to examine her belly. Not even giving her a chance to warm up to him or sniff his hands to make her feel comfortable. The rest of examination was conducted in the same rough manner. Then the nurse proceeded to take swabs in my cats ear, again being very aggressive and causing the cat unnecessary discomfort. I ended up pushing the nurse away from the cat as I just couldn’t bear watching at how rough and uncaring she was handling her. This is the first time I’ve seen such a lack of knowledge of cats’ behavior from a veterinarian. Seems like Dr. Hornsby would be effective at handling a pitbull, a horse or a large animal. But when it comes to your cats, I would not recommend seeing him!

Even though I was traveling through on my way to Austin from Chicago and my beloved 15 year old Kara got very sick and after discussing w a very nice vet our options; we had to send her on the rainbow bridge. Considering its not an ER and I had no appointment , they got us in very fast and tested and checked on her very quickly. Much better then my vets in Chicago who always seem to be looking at the bottom line vs the pets welfare. I really wished I lived down in Memphis so I could make them my permanent vet for my other doggie. I have been to at least 6 vets in Kara's 10 years in chicago ( 1st 5 we lived in south florida ) and none seemed to genuinely care about animals as much as this place. Plus the crematory they sent her to was top notch. When I went to that place in Millsborough ( i believe ) to pick up her urn, i again wished I lived in Memphis so I could bury Kara there and visit her as often as possible. There is no such place in the Chicagoland area.

Amazing all the way around. From the moment you call, to the moment you walk in the door, and then interact with the vet! Dr. Williams is amazing! I made countless visits to my previous vet and within one visit Dr. Williams has us headed in the right direction and My pup has seemed more like himself than ever!!! Not to mention no more throw up! Yay!! As a first time pet owner this place has been a God-send for me and my rescue pup!

Great hospital but I to believe they diagnose and offer meds that don't work the first time. So you can come back. I was told my puppy had dermodex mange and it wasn't contagious. Now my other pup who is a different breed has the same hair loss and red irritated skin. They gave her antibiotics by mouth the first time. After she didn't clear up they offered a shot. I was out of $400 in two weeks only if they would have offered the shot the first time. She is doing well now but my other pup will not be going to Grace. I will find vet that is reasonable and will handle the issue the first time
