BrownDog Lodge Memphis, Arkansas

It was my dogs first time going to doggy day care on yesterday. I was nervous at first because he’s never been away from my boyfriend and I so I didn’t know how he would react without us. About an hour or two of him being there the staff emailed me a report card of him and said he was shy at first but gradually opened up throughout the day. They also attached a picture of him to show how happy he was to be there. It gave me ease to see his picture because I cried like a baby after I dropped him off. This is his first time being away and there’s never a day where he is not with us. I missed him so much but, I knew he was in good hands. He’s the only dog so he deserves a place like this! They gave him a goody bag when I picked him back up and he was so tired. He also acted as though he was not ready to leave. I can tell he really enjoyed himself because my dog is super energetic and he came home, ate his dinner and was out for the count. I definitely recommend the Brown Dog Lodge in East Memphis and my pup will definitely be back.

Our four legged son enjoyed his first boarding experience with Browndog Lodge. The staff was very helpful and professional.

We boarded our 2 toy aussies for an entire week with browndg. We were a little nervous since this was rhe first time we used their service. But we were completely at ease after the first day. We were able to check on our girls and often seen our girls being held, played, wirh or just being loved on. The girls came out looking like they had a blast the week but was happy to see their dad.

My dogs were happy to see me when I picked them up after boarding, but they didn’t give the usual “get me the heck out of here” impression as at other places. Every time I checked on the webcams, all of the dogs in the play areas seemed to get along well and there was an employee present keeping everything clean and safe.

We had a great experience today at BrownDog Lodge. I have an energetic almost 80 pound pit mix rescue. It was her first time and, if her snoring loudly on the couch is any indication, she played well. There are webcams to see your dog. I received a report from the staff letting me know her evaluation went well. We purchased a package at pickup because we will definitely be back.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience using browndog lodge. I have to board my dog next month for the first time and they allowed me to tour during the day to ease my anxiety. This is our first experience with the lodge. We had our two dogs stay overnight. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, neither of our dogs got the baths or nail trims we paid for, nor were they given their supplements overnight (not a massive issue to miss one day, but I would be concerned if it were a more vital medicine). Additionally, they forgot to give us back our food carrier. We now have to go back another time to get our belongings and to have our dogs get their remaining treatments. This is a fairly large inconvenience for us, as we work long hours and don't live close to the lodge. I would say the prices are good, but now it is obviously costing us more time to correct these mistakes.

I kenneled my 14 yo beagle for the first time ever while I visited family on the other side of the country. I was very impressed with the staff and their ability to accommodate an older pup with plenty of health issues. It was obvious from talking to staff when I picked up my dog that they put a lot of thought and effort into giving him the most comfortable stay possible. I don’t like leaving such a sensitive dog in a kennel but when the next time comes around I’ll be relieved that I can trust the people over at the brown dog lodge in east Memphis.

My dog loves Brown Dog Lodge and that’s the most important criterion; plus the staff are courteous and appear caring and committed.

If I could give them 10+ starts, I would. Brown Dog Lodge in East Memphis is absolutely AMAZING! My overly energetic puppy gets to have fun all day, and when it's time to pick him up after work, he's completely relaxed and sleepy! The quiet time that every workaholic needs and craves after a long work shift! I have no regrets leaving him to play all day with his friends and knowing that he is being watched and cared for by such a loving staff! The webcams are a plus, just in case I miss the little guy during the day! The staff goes above and beyond everyday and that's the true selling point for a daycare! One of the best parts are the random cute photos you'll receive or see on their social media!

I very rarely kennel my dog. We visited Memphis from PA. We were camping and it was soo hot those days. I was soo glad we kept her in the kennel. The staff were great. They are very professional. Usually after being in a kennel our dog is a little off for a few days. Not this time. she seemed happy and healthy. It's too bad this kennel is too far away to use again I would definitely take my dog there again. thank you.

The staff is always so sweet. They really care about the dogs and know how to work with each dogs personality. I trust them with my silly wild wheaten terrier. The groomer does a great job even with a basic bath. My dog is always well brushed out, no mats!

Our dog had a blast! We could enjoy our vacation even more knowing he was so well taken care of!

I love how when I go to get my puppy, she's always worn out. She's a handful so anyone that can play with her til she taps out is fine with me.

My German Shepherd is 8 years old and has only stayed at a dog lodge once. I was uncertain of how he would act being away from us and not familiar with the staff. The video camera kept me aware of how he was doing. I am very please with how they handled my dog. I will definitely be taking him back for future daycare and overnight stays. I believe Prince enjoyed his stay

They took great care of my pet and the most important part was that I was able to see him everyday to make sure everything was okay! I love this place and will most definitely book them again!

Our 13lb. Yorkie-poo has always been uncomfortable around other dogs but we decided to try a day of daycare. Being able to see him on video was great. I won’t say that he immediately started playing but didn’t get into any trouble with the others and we will do it again. Maybe we can get him more comfortable with others. Staff was great.

I was worried about leaving my 4 month old puppy for a week while we went on a vacation that we had already planned, but in the end I had nothing to worry about. I called twice and got prompt responsive calls with details on how my Tuck was doing. I loved the webcams and found him playing in daycare several times while on vacation. I will definitely use Brown Dog East Memphis again and recommend them to others!
