Parkway Animal Hospital Little Rock, Arkansas

I had brought my cat to two other vet clinics and her original shelter that all deemed her healthy, but I knew something was wrong with her mouth. Today, I visited Parkway after reading good reviews, and my cat finally received a proper diagnosis for her mouth problems! Vet was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in cat dental work and I am very grateful that she is now on a road to alleviate her pain. Best vet experience!

Saw our jojo on short notice and got our kitty all fixed up

Very grateful for Dr Beam and his care for my sweet Ozzy. Ozzy is a rescue and the original vet the rescue used really botched his surgery. Dr Beam is now helping with his recovery though he has a long road ahead of him. Ozzy loves going to the vet. Last visit he refused to leave and laid outside for nearly a hour. He knows good people.

They treated my Jack AMAZING! He has to go through heart worm treatments for months, and Dr. Alex was informing, caring, and authenticity concerned for the health of Jack and the mental health for his mom (me). This was a very scary time! But Jack made it through because of Dr. Alex and his SUPERIOR CARE and PROFESSIONAL TEAM! He saved not only Jack physically, but be mentally. Nothing is as scary as finding out your fur child tested positive for heart worms. He is my little rescue healthy fur child ???? I can’t express my gratitude enough! Ty guys so much!

Dr. Beam is the most amazing vet we have ever met. Our puppy was wrongly diagnosed by a different clinic. Shortly after we rushed him to the animal hospital where we were told there was nothing to be done and advised to put him down. We called Dr. Beam's cell phone as 5:45AM and he met us as the clinic. He diagnosed and saved our puppy from parvo. Without Dr. Beam we would not be enjoying our 80lb baby 8 years later! I have never met another person or staff that cares about animals as much as they do. Highly recommend!!!

Dr Alex...explains everything in a way thats easy to understand and really cares about animals and their well-being. His staff is also very knowledgeable as well.

Dr Beam has been my vet for well over 20 years. He is brilliant and takes great care of our dogs and cats. He has also become a trusted friend. I would and do recommend him to anyone who wants their animals well taken care of. So blessed to have him in our lives.

I have been going to Dr. Beam for my fur babies for years. He is an amazing vet that always makes me feel welcome and always takes the time to answer all of my questions. The staff is always friendly and always makes me feel comfortable. We will be forever clients that's for sure!!

Do have a dog so

I can’t begin to explain what a true blessing it has been to have been referred to Alex Beam and his team. From the front desk to the actual appt, they have so much compassion and empathy for owners and each animal that walks through the doors. The whole team gets to know your pet and really eases them into the first initial appt and it’s very evident that they truly care for your pet. I took my Bernese mountain dog into the vet for a sinus infection and Dr. Beam was so great with explaining the whole process and educated me on the breed, training, etc. Much more than just treating the infection. He’s also very cost conscious and will always point you to the best cost for medicine and food for the similar things at other vets where they try to push for a particular brand and you feel they’re always selling you on. You won’t ever feel that way here. Because it’s a small clinic, they can be very accommodating as well which I have appreciated. I would highly recommend Alex Beam to anyone!

I've been so grateful for Dr. Beam and his staff. Even when I know what's wrong, he's given me piece of mind. When I don't know what's wrong, he's gone above and brings to treat, even staying late.

We have used Parkway and Dr. Beam for the past 13-14 years. He's a wonderful vet who has taken excellent care of my several cats during this time. His staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. His vet tech, Carolyn, is the person we trust to pet-sit when we are out of town. The clinic has been located in an old building for over 30 years and is moving! Dr. Beam is great, he provides wonderful care for my puppy and my adult cat. He is very knowledgeable, practical, friendly and truly cares about animals. Carroway and the rest of the staff are great as well and the prices are reasonable to boot! I was referred to Dr. Beam shortly after my husband was stationed here by a friend of mine who brings her pugs to Parkway Animal Hospital. I am truly glad to have found a vet I can trust in this area!

DO NOT LET YOUR DOG STAY HERE. When I saw the facilities it was only a few cages in a small dirty room with only rags for them to lay on. Left my dog at parkway animal hospital to be boarded for 3 nights. When we got her back we noticed 7 (that we know of) tick bites on her stomach. I firmly believe this is not a healthy environment for a dog. I really thought an “animal hospital” would know how to care for animals. Lastly (and this did not affect me), the fish tank in the lobby was murky and disgusting, as if it was never cleaned. My question is this: do they even care about animals?

Dr. Beam was recommended to me by a friend after my dog had complications with treatment she was rendered at a different veterinarian's office. He and his staff were amazing, caring, and so knowledgeable. My dog is doing great now and I am so happy to have found Dr. Beam and staff!

Dr Beam and his staff are the best. It's obvious they actually care for your pets, and treat them as members of your family (because they are). Dr beam will take the time with you to explain anything and everything, and answer any questions you have. He is very thorough and friendly. His pricing is very fair and he won't ask you to pay for a bunch of stuff you don't need.

Great people here! You can tell that everyone that works here loves animals and they feel no need to charge an arm and a leg to keep your furbabies happy and healthy! I reccomend Dr.Alex to all my friends and family!

Dr. Beam and his staff are amazing! We were referred to Parkway to treat our (old) Lab for heart worms because a different Vet said she was too old to treat. Josie is now fully recovered and still a part of our family. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else! I HIGHLY recommend this veterinary clinic!

Great service from people who are clearly nuts about animals. I came here to get a second opinion and never went back to my old vet. Dr. Beam is super knowledgeable and his staff are friendly.

Fantastic vet to work with in caring for your beloved (and not so beloved) animal friends. Dr Alex spends time explaining all the important stuff. It's obvious he enjoys his work. We moved away, and now must find a new vet. I did think about bringing the 4-leggeds to Arkansas for care, but I have to find someone local for doggie emergencies.
