Amanda's grooming is Great! My babies look so cute. The prices are good too. I'm not from around here and just needed a groomer for them while we are here so we called a local vet office and they recommended Grooming by Amanda.

Amanda and her staff are so friendly and gave my pup, Ezra, such a handsome haircut. My mom has been taking her two poodles here for years and I see why. Thank you, Amanda!

Fair price and decent cut. Staff (x3) was rude and confrontational. Did not notify of completed cut and then blamed me that they had to stay an extra hour (despite showing up prior to close)

Grooming by Amanda is AWESOME! If you are like me, then your dog is a member of your family - your kid. Amanda and her staff gets this! From the time you walk your dog into their shop you know that they LOVE you and your furry children. If you are looking for a stiff, and cold attitude then this is not going to be to your liking. But if you want the best grooming and your dog to really enjoy the experience, then Grooming by Amanda is the ‘bees knees.’

I really must respond to your response that my son(Brandon Edwards) posted for me on May 23 since you accused me on not being truthful. I called you at 3:00 to see if my dog was ready. Your response was...we are still working on him...we will call you when he is ready. This was said unkindly in a... don't call us we will call you attitude. That call never came. I came before closing time...I entered and said laughingly...well, I guess he is ready since its closing time even though y'all never called. All of you immediately jumped down my throat and said you had called me and I had kept y'all an hour late. (Your posted closing time is 5:00...it was 5:00) You yelled at me (in front of your children, I might add.) I tried to defend myself by showing my caller ID that showed no phone calls from you. You accused me of ignoring the phone calls which I assured you that I was not since my husband had taken off work so we could leave to go out of town after we picked up the dog. I believe you when you said you tried to call me but for some reason, it did not go through. You never tried to call me on my land line (you had the number) I was at home the entire time waiting to come get my dog so we could go out of town. Regardless of what went wrong with the phones...these facts are true- 1. I picked up my dog ON TIME. 2. It would have been helpful to me when I CALLED at 3:00 if you had given me some kind of time frame as to when he would be ready. I would think an experienced groomer would have some idea within at least a 30 minute time span. 3. Yes, you are a good groomer with reasonable prices but I prefer to have a good groomer with reasonable prices who is kind and friendly with good customer service. 4. Anyone reading this needs to note the less positive reviews that are posted here. The customer is ALWAYS wrong and Grooming by Amanda is always right! There is never an apology and an admission of less than perfect service. The customer is blamed. This is a character issue. I will not be using this groomer again.

Poor customer service as always. Don’t expect her to be friendly cause she isn’t and carries a negative attitude, at least from my own experience. Wouldn’t recommend EVER. Other than the service the actual grooming is great but the customer service completely disappointing and I will not be coming back and I will make sure all my family and friends do not go here.

Amanda did a magnificent job of grooming our border collie lab mix. She was way overdue for a grooming after a long move, and she came out a new dog! Calm and happy. This is the best "fur-cut" she's ever received! Thank you Amanda!

My long time groomer retired and a co-worker recommended Amanda. I brought my 6 year old Yorkie to Amanda for grooming.......Not only did my pup come out looking BEAUTIFUL, (groomed perfectly as requested) she was HAPPY & CALM!! ???? Additionally, I appreciate that pet health and safety is a #1 priority with Amanda. Owners must provide proof that their pet is up to date on vaccinations in order to be groomed. Thanks Amanda and staff~~~we'll be back!

Try to make appointment doesn't answer or ever call back.. not worth the time of day

I was appalled by the behavior of the owner (Amanda). She was rude from the time I walked in until I took my dogs and walked out. I'm new to the area and was looking for a new groomer for my 2 dogs. I would not leave them here with this lady. Beware.. poor customer service.

I cannot say enough GOOD THINGS about her and her shop. The shop is in a great location, very clean and welcoming. I instantly picked up on, "she loves what she does and completely knows what she is doing." We have a 12 year old Lhaso Apso and LOVE him dearly. I took him to her today. I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. When I picked him up he was so beautiful and happy. He has played all afternoon, which is great for his age. All day I've seen tail up & his smiling face.(and hearing pitter-patter) I wish I could give her 10 STARS!!!!!!

Amanda is a very caring young lady. My dog loved her right away and she did a fabulous job grooming him.

Brought my newly rescued (scared) girl in to get groomed. The ladies all did a fantastic job and were very sweet and patient with her as she was very nervous. Amanda is truly a dog whisperer.

In response to Mrs. Hartnack...Grooming by Amanda has a posted policy that after two missed appointments with no phone call to cancel, another appointment will not be given without payment for the missed one. Since we do work by appointment only and most of the time have a wait for appointments, this policy is necessary to show courtesy to our other customers. Our goal at Grooming by Amanda is to provide excellent customer service. We appreciate your understanding on this.

Amanda is an excellent groomer but a horrible businesswoman who speaks to her customers with no respect. Even if a customer is wrong, she should never hang up on a customer nor should she instruct her office staff to do the same. Disrespecting customers is not the way to run a business.

We were suggested to use Amanda services for our dog, Bonnie. Bonnie looked awesome and really seemed to like them as well. I'd highly suggest you talk with this pet grooming company and then use them. They will absolutely treat your pet as family!

Amanda has been grooming my Persian for 15 years as well as my dogs. She is absolutely the best and I HIGHLY recommend her. You will not be disappointed.
