I love St. Francis Vet Clinic. I’ve been taking my sweet Roscoe there for 3 years now and ever since his first visit, the staff has always made us feel like family. Roscoe even gets excited to go see them! They always present me with a cost estimate before ever proceeding with services, which is very appreciated as Rossy can run up quite a bill ????. It really speaks for the clinic as a whole when a technician calls or texts me just to make sure Roscoe is feeling better after a visit, too. Thanks for always taking care of my Roscoe, St. Francis Vet!

There is nothing that could have gone any better at St. Francis! This was my first vet visit with my Husky pup, Ringo, and I was so worried I might choose the wrong vet and make his first vet visit a nightmare (he is a drama queen.) The staff was so friendly! Anyone who came into the room took a few moment to sit down and introduce themselves to Ringo, as well as play with him and give him treats. By the ends of the appointment, he was whining because he missed the staff members! Dr. Stone was so knowledgeable, professional, and you could tell she loved her job, as well as her patients. St. Francis will for sure be my primary vet! Prices are reasonable as well, you definitely won’t be overcharged.

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review! We have been going to St. Francis for years and would never change. They treat you and your pets like family, ask all the right questions, and always go out of their way to answer yours. We are truly lucky to have such great vet care staff in Conway.

Dr. Stone is our primary vet. Occasionally though we have seen others there. And because we have gone there so long we have had lots of technicians and front office staff. Everyone has always been wonderful. My dogs have received excellent care, my questions answered, and also, very compassionate when we had to release our 14 y/o cocker who suffered from cancer from her pain. I held her at the end.

This was a great place. they accommodated us without an appointment as we had an issue with our Kitty, Charlie ...and they took care of his ear infection right away. in fact we had been having a long term problem with her, and the Vet correctly diagnosed and remedied the issue straightaway...

I called in this morning with an emergency for my chinchilla in respiratory distress. I was told by staff to call a place that didn’t even offer exotic pet care, so not only was I told they couldn’t see him, they kept giving me referrals to places that don’t even have exotic pet care. The staff here couldn’t have cared less about the situation. How does a vet not have room in their schedule for emergencies? Every single vet I’ve ever been to in my entire life will work emergencies in between scheduled appointments. That’s how Hartman does it, that’s how Out West does it, and that’s how Chestnut does it. To the person who replied to my wife’s review that said that we requested a specific time, that is NOT TRUE. Now I am leaving a one star review because not only do they turn away emergencies, they are not truthful about the situation and are lying to make it look like we were being unreasonable. That is unacceptable. Here’s the full story. Our chinchilla was in distress, breathing hard and shallow, with nasal discharge and wasn’t eating on his own. I made it clear that it was an urgent situation and had been going on since yesterday. There is no emergency clinic for exotics, the one in North Little Rock doesn’t always have an exotics doctor on duty, so I could not take him Sunday. Anyone that knows anything about rodents knows that when they don’t eat for 12 hours, there’s a chance they could develop GI Stasis which is extremely dangerous. I asked if there was any way he could be seen today, I was told no. I asked about the afternoon even after I was told there weren’t doctors at that time, I was told no. I was trying to be VERY flexible considering the urgent nature of the visit. I expressed my disappointment and frustration, and mentioned we would be leaving a review. Whether or not doctors were there is irrelevant, I asked for him to be seen that day, that’s not a “specific time” I would have come at any time. Anyway, I found a better vet that actually understands emergent situations. If you have an emergency, DO NOT GO HERE. Go to Chestnut, they are better equipped to handle the situation, and fit you in even if you have to wait a little bit. Just like any normal doctor’s office, there’s always room to squeeze in an urgent case. St. Francis doesn’t care.

I have used these professionals for my exotics- for my sick rat girl Amethyst and my 3 ferrets(ranging from 6 months old to 2 years old) and they are AMAZING. I wanted my ferrets and rats to have the best care and know they are being properly cared for and they exceeded my expectations. They are so good with them as well and throughly explaining to me about care and health wise including my rats medication! I drive over an hour to this vet, It is well worth my money and the time. We are also in love with their pet control odor candles for our ferrets bedroom haha, 10/10 recommended and trust this vet!

Took off work two hours early to drive from Clarksville to get medicine for my dog. The prescription pill is unavailable, I told them this. They let me drive across town to find out it couldn't be filled. Drove all the way back to get a different prescription. They let me sit for fifteen minutes, closing time, to get the other one.

St. Francis is the best in Conway, hands down. The staff and Doctors are world-class and treat our animals like their own. We never have any complaints, as they are very thorough during exams and checkups, not to leave anything for surprise. 11/10 HIGHLY recommend.

I guess it depends who you are. I set an appointment and can’t get seen. I see reviews others are seen same day I made appointment for shots 5 people told me they didn’t have the appointment or time to do it but those people all had time to look at me two kids and a 90 lb dog I hauled up there for nothing strange huh????

Our chinchilla was dying, barely breathing and not eating and they wouldnt try to get us in. They said they were booked out a week and half and there was nothing we could do. They recommended we go to Outwest for urgent care, but they dont take exotic pets either! So upsetting. Finally we found Chestnut- they got us in immediately!

We've taken pets to this clinic for two decades. The office is generally laid back but very attentive. If expense is a concern be sure to bring it up and I believe they work with folks to find reasonable alternatives. Procedures have changed a bit for COVID-19 but you now have the choice of going inside or just sending your pet in.

St. Francis has been a life saver since I started using them about a year ago. I was using a different vet in Conway, but after a tech made a rude and unprofessional comment about my dog in front of me, I decided it was best to find a different vet. I am so thankful I found this one. I have a very difficult dog who hates the vet and new people, he had to be muzzled and sedated at his old vet. I completely dreaded any time he needed to visit. But that’s not the case anymore. Andy was very patient and kind to my dog, and did not make me feel embarrassed about his behavior- which means so much. After a couple visits, Diesel started to trust Andy more and each visit has gone very well. We have recently found out that my other dog has heart worms, and Dr. Custer and all of the staff have been so willing to answer any questions I may have about it. I honestly will not take my pets anywhere else! Thank you to the entire staff at St. Francis!
