Arizona West Veterinary Clinic Yuma, Arizona

Called yesterday. Because my dog has not been there for 3 yrs I am declared as a new patient. I am Canadian and couldn’t be here last year. My dog has serious issues with his teeth. Not sure if it is caused by gum tumours. Told I could not get in until late Feb or March. Not happy. Previous visits to this vet have been good. Unfortunately I will probably have to wait until I get home in April. I find them to be uncaring. If I was still a regular customer I would probably in in a day or two. I guess it is hard to look at your pet for 10 min to give peace of mind. I won’t be back nor can I reccomend them. They ignore people from out of town. Unfortunately this seems to apply to most of the vets in this area.

The doctor and her assistant were super wonderful with my big ole baby they were so gentle with him I loved it most people look at his size and breed and make judgements so glad they just saw him as I do a big ole baby looking for cuddles

Great staff who aren't here to rob you

Experienced professionals who genuinely care. I will never take my pet anywhere else again. I am absolutely thrilled with them.

They wouldn’t see my dog my dog was very sick was told they couldn’t help her to take the dog to the foothills, my dog is gone

Dr Milikan is so gentle with my feral cats that I bring to her! What a godsend.

Have never been there. I recently acquired a dog who was their patient and because he has a new human, he could not be seen! Absolutely disgusting!

I moved to Yuma 2017 and was searching for a clinic for my four legged family members. How lucky to find this clinic close by. The staff and Dr.'s are very professional, caring and go the extra mile.

My little Chi has been seen here since puppyhood. Always a good experience. Pepper doesn't like nail trimming and these folks get it done easily. During Covid times they even offered drive up services ! Thank you all very much

Today was a sad day. We had to put our Boxer girl down, but Nicole and the rest of the staff made this as calming and pleasant as could be for our faithful girl and the family. Love you all.

The staff is always friendly and the vet truly cares. Prices are great. Service is great. Covid precautions are great. The only downside is that they are so popular, they can't always accept new clients. They are able to provide excellent care for their existing clients this way.

$65 for the Vet to walk in and repeat everything the vet tech had already done might be a little pricey for me. I paid half that in Albuquerque.

Dr Milikin and her fellow veterinarians have been taking care of my 7 dogs, 8 cats, and every feral kitten I’ve found that needed medical care for years. I can’t recommend her enough. I recently talked to a friend about his animals and asked him which vet he took them to, (I’m not going to say where,) I then told him we go to Dr Milikin on Cty 14th by the marine base. He replied, “That’s the vet everyone wants to go. They have a long waiting list of people waiting to go there.” I can understand why. Dr Milikin and her associates treat all of our animals as if they were hers. They’re very caring and compassionate. They take the time to explain things to you and answer questions. Never have I felt rushed so they can get to the next client. Just this week I called in and talked to Deserae about a kitten I found that wasn’t doing so well. The soonest appointment was a week and a half away. Instead of having me wait that long I was told I could drop him off in the morning in 2 days and they’d work on him between clients. Had I waited for the next available appointment, the kitten would surely have died. Instead, he is now sassy and thriving. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us and our family members. We were lucky enough to get in at AZ West as new patients after a less than desirable experience at another local clinic. We could immensely tell how much the team here cares. We couldn't go in with our dog, who is blind due to covid-19 but Monica and Dr. Fricke took such great care of her and have just gone above and beyond to help us and give us answers. The other techs I have spoken with have also been super nice and caring. I am so thrilled that we are able to bring our Lucy here.

All the staff are caring and considerate, and always take good care of my cats.

I love this vet and the staff. They are friendly, thorough and they care about their patients. I do not love that I can no longer go inside with my fur babies.

Clean good meeting vet and staff

I see many good reviews on here. However, if you haven’t already been seen here don’t even try. They don’t “accept” new clients. My dog literally dying (now dead) would not be seen by this facility. Because they don’t service anyone who isn’t an existing clients. They will not offer emergency services no matter how much you beg. I believe in human kindness and cases should vary depending on a situation. A dog literally dying shouldn’t be refused medical care anywhere. Shut this uncaring place down.

Is the best vet care in Yuma always extremely happy with the service the associate there Amy is just amazing at her job we look forward to seeing her each time my husband and I go into the office to buy the best food for our kitty thank you Amy for always helping us in for being there
