Sissy's Pet Grooming Salon Tucson, Arizona

Well if you’re looking for poor service, bad management, and horrible grooming-this is the place! We’ve been taking our dogs to Sissy’s for 7 years but it’s now apparent that it’s literally gone to the dogs. Never have we received our dog back raw and bleeding from being buzzed.

My dog that is a golden retriver just had an appoitment 2 days ago, my dog was completly fine when I droped him off. Two hoirs later I received a phone call stating that they were running late result off my dog not wating to get "i to the shower". 4 hours later picked up my dog and I notice thag he is limping and not wanting tl play, owner was notified he new exactly who I and my dog was, in conclusion ghe owner did not care and my dog was hjrt.

We have been taking our dogs to Sissy's for more than 10 years, 3 dogs and never ever been anything but completely happy with the way they groom and treat our pups. When we got our current fur baby at the pound on a Sunday morning she looked almost as bad as the dog in these photos, so I called Sissy's, got Nico and asked if he had an opening, he said, just bring her in. When we picked her up she was the most beautiful little dog and even though she was an abused rescue Nico did fine with her. I recommend Sissy's to friends all the time and will continue to do so.

I’ve been going to sissy’s for at least eight years now and they never disappoint. There was even a time where I had forgotten there was an appointment and the staff was really nice about flexing and helping me get my dogs groomed. They always look so fancy coming out of the groomer much better than what I would’ve done grooming dogs lol. Nico is amazing. And the owners of the salon are incredibly friendly and caring about animals.

I am a very nervous dog mom, and do not trust many people with Tomac. I have been bringing him to Sissy's for iver 3 years, and have always had a good experince! Niko is a rock star and knows me and Tomac by name and always treats us well, he is even patient when I have questions (which is often). Thank you Sissy's and Niko for always taking great care of my baby!

Recently rescued my puppy well 15year old Chihuahua but puppy non the less. They were so great with her and at 1st was timid and now 4 months later she absolutely loves going in. They are amazing to work with and I'll recommend them to anyone. I even started bringing my mom's rescue bully in as well.

They are very consistent with their work. My pomeranian easily freaks out when he’s away from me. He doesn’t like going to the groomers but they are patient and loving with him .

Customer service is not the best. Called to see if they take new dogs and they explained that taking dogs to them is like dropping off a dog in the middle of the Vietnam war. Then hung up on me.

I have been taking my 2 dogs to Sissy’s for over 10 years. We travel over 20 miles every month to see Nico. We trust Nico so much we didn’t hesitate to take our new addition “Bella” to visit him. Thank you so much Nico! She looks Beautiful!!

I was very happy with the result I highly recommend it is a very clean place and my dog ​​was beautiful without any dude my favorite place to take my pet :)))

Worst place in town. If you want to pay a hefty price to a company who wants to do absolutely no work, then this is the place for you! ????They have no problem taking your money, but if your dog has even one knot on their coat they will threaten to drop you or shave your dog. I comb my dog 3 times a week and give him baths between his monthly groomings, yet they feel his coat is too coarse. Surprise, surprise they tell me to bring him 2x a week! Of course!!... why wouldn't they suggest bring him more often. $60+ every visit!? No Thank you! Very unprofessional and LAZY! Check out Wags My Tail a few blocks down (Corner of Ina and Shannon). Much better place, reasonable, friendly and Professional!

They where so nice and made my scrappy feel comfortable while she got her nails trimmed def going back

I would not recommend; i have taken my dog to petsmart many times to be groomed and they have never had issues with grooming; i stopped taking her to petsmart due to the horror stories and decided to try a local groomer, i was told by the groomer that she was no longer allowed to be groomed at their business due to her being too difficult and trying to bite. My dog is a very lovable and shy and NOT aggressive at all what so ever. The groomer had 4 inch acrylic nails maybe that would be the reason why she had such a difficult time grooming my dog.

I love this place...every time i just need to run my dogs in for a nail trim, i'm in and out in about 10 minutes. They also do a great job on the grooming. Charlotte and Chantilly smell ao nice and look so good when we leave. Thanks wonderful staff. I will always bring my dogs to you!

I used to take my puppy, Bongo into Petsmart to get groomed. Don’t even get me started with Petsmart. I was always so frustrated with them because of 1. the price. First of all, you can’t just get your dog’s nails clipped there. They have a whole package with a bath, brush, and then the nails. 2. they weren’t all that friendly with Bongo. He tends to get aggressive when his feet are touched so it always seemed like they were upset when I brought him in. And, they always, ALWAYS had to put a cone on him. 3. You can’t watch them! I’ve seen some videos and heard stories about petsmart employees abusing the animals, so I was always really nervous to leave him there for the 2 hours it took to groom. I decided to do some shopping around and Sissy’s had really good reviews, and they’re like 4 minutes away from me. So today I brought him in just to get his nails done. I was amazed at the turn around my puppy had while they were with him. He didn’t get aggressive because they were so nice and patient with him, and to my amazement, NO CONE!!! They even let me watch! It took them all of 5 minutes to dremmel his nails. Plus, I saved $35???? Thank you Sissy’s!! Bongo and I loved you guys. This is now the only place I will be bringing him to get his nails done.

Excellent! Easy to book an appointment, staff is great and bath and brush is very quick. Shop is very clean. Highly recommend.

They were so patient with our dog zero! He is a rescue and still a bit nervous going to new places and meeting new people. They were so good at taking there time with him until he was ready to work with them.

We have 5 dogs and they are all different. Sissy's does a great job and try to accommodate all of them to the best of their ability.
