A genuinely nice place. The doctor I dealt with was a gentleman and indeed a gentle man. Interactions I witnessed in the lobby (customer v staff) handled issues well and compassionately. Another tricky one for me is atmosphere. I get irritated around pretense of any kind and there was none in sight- a major relief! Will happily be a return customer.

Have been going here for years with several pets. Knowledgeable staff, but a little pricey.

They did the best to help me with the travel certificate for my dog. Unfortunately, the mail didn't arrive on time, but definitely was not their fault. I'll try it again and we'll be back for sure.

I am so pleased with how they took care of my dog. Everyone was very friendly and Dr. Merker was so nice when he called to update me on my dogs progress after her oral surgery. I highly recommend this hospital. Thank you all so much

Best place you could ever take your furry family members. Extremely knowledgeable about K9's cats reptiles and amphibians. Doctor James Jarchow is absolutely the best and his staff, and the other Doctors are amazing, very loving and caring. Won't go anywhere else!

We were in there & out before the scheduled time of the appointment.

Our boy Bauer had a full wellness exam and I was scared to see the bill. It was quite low considering all that they did and discussed. Dr Merker and his assistant are both so kind and loving towards Bauer honestly I was worried Bauer was going to be a typical grumpy old man, but they are naturals towards our 4 legged friends and birds! Kudos ????woof ???? huff???? ???? The front staff should also be avknowledged for a job well done!!! Dr Merker Has been there for all my friends below Thank you ❤️????????????????

They gave my chameleon a clean bill of health and she died two days later. They kept saying everything I found that was off about her was normal but obviously not if she's dead

The vets care, but I'm impressed how consistently we've seen the same doctor. I've been to the chain vet clinic and we've always had rotating consults, but here we are almost guaranteed to see Dr. Gordon. When we don't, the care is still amazing and it is doubtless you're getting A+ quality. This clinic sees your normal variety of pets but also some of the less typical variety, like lizards and birds (or so the waiting room in my visits have led me to believe ... If things have changed, I apologize). It's always pleasant and helpful, I don't know what else to say except come see it for yourself.

Excellent care for your fur babies

This was my first visit here and I was very favorably impressed. The staff is very friendly, and I didn't have to wait long. The vet spent a long time talking to me about my dog. She called me the next day with the test results and explained everything. I feel very confident about using this vet clinic.

My fur baby had a strange episode I called and they were able to ease my mind and I was able to get right in. THANK YOU SO MUCH

We take our parakeet here to get her beak trimmed. They're always amazing and do an awesome job with her

I’ve had vets in the past but none compare with the doctors and staff. Everyone greets you with a smile. They treat each pet as though they are the only ones.

Nice women behind the desk and a great doctor he takes the time to talk to you about your 4blegged kids.

I just had my BEST Dogg, BEST friend pass away today,CHOPPER ... I had him cremated here...Rest in Peace chopper love you boy.,I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY CANT SPELL HIS NAME RIGHT ,they had the paper work for his cremation and still spelled his name wrong.... so I had a sticker put on with his name spelled RIGHT... DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DONT CARE...????????

I took my cat, Shasta, in because he had his teeth pulled at another vets office but was in so much pain. He had been miserable since July. I kept taking him back to the same vets office for pain medication and some kind of steroids which would eventually ruin his kidneys. I called Marcy at No Kill Pima County and PACC and they recommend Orange Grove Animal Hospital so Shasta could get some X-rays and maybe surgery if needed. Dr Merker saw Shasta. He came out with Shasta and took the time to show me a piece of tooth that was still Intact in Shasta’s mouth. Shasta’s gums were all inflamed, so there were probably roots still in Shasta’s mouth. So they made an appointment for surgery. The surgery went fine. Dr Merker called me personally when the surgery was over told me Shasta was doing well and he had pulled the piece of tooth, 5 retained roots, and three teeth in front that were supposed to be pulled by this other vet but they didn’t. He pulled 9 teeth in all. He even brought Shasta out to me, explained what he did, the care I needed to give Shasta- what an amazing Doctor. Orange Grove Animal Hospital is a wonderful place. Dr Merker, the girls in the office and his assistant so friendly, courteous and they care. It’s very clean and I would go back there. I live on the East side of town they are northwest, it was 26 miles each way but I would definitely go back. Best Veterinary Hospital ever, they see a lot of different kinds of pets/animals they just aren’t for our fur babies.

I have always respected and valued the diagnosis of the veterinarian staff here for many years. Today's visit may have been a challenge, but I believe that Dr. Spalding handle it very well.

Very friendly and quick. One thing about the way they do their visits. They take them in the back to do some things so if you need to be by your fir baby the whole time...try another vet...

Love the staff! Always friendly. We take our parakeet here every so often to get her beak trimmed. If you have a pet bird and are looking for a vet that works with them, I highly recommend this place!

Orange Grove animal hospital completed the required USDA paperwork for my dog to travel internationally. We were short on time to make the flight, and then I got sick and ended up missing the appointment for the exam for his health certificate. The staff found a way to work my dog into their very tight schedule and and got me out the door in time to make my flight, even though it was entirely my fault that I missed the appointment. I am very grateful to them for helping me me get my dog to Europe with me.

Friendly, really good with my dog. Made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions.

They did great saving our furbaby when he got hit by a car.
