Doctor Barrett is the best. They have 2 locations 1 on the East Side and one on the West side. Sometimes there's wait to get an appointment, but that's expected since hes the only game in town. The Doctor's assistances were wonderful and patient.

They were great and very good with our dog. Saved his eye. Miracle workers actually, very grateful we found them in time.

Friendly staff and they were pretty much on time. Dr. came in, explained what he was doing, determined the problem and was gone. Staff handled all the pre and post event activities. Not dissimilar to a human opthomology appt.

Update - The next morning my sister finally got a hold of someone and was able to get the prescription filled. Original- My sister has been attempting to call, fax and email to get her dogs prescription refilled for 3 weeks now. Her dog is now completely out of medication and her eye is not doing well as a result of zero response from this Vet. The pharmacy also has not gotten any response at all.

All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We saw Dr. Erlichman and she was excellent! Great bedside manner, willing to take questions and willing to explain everything. She made us feel like our pet and our concerns were her complete focus, which you don't feel at every vet office you go to.

Appointment ran on time. The assistant was efficient and kind. The doctor was fast and nice as well. Everything ran smoothly and the exam was affordable. Highly recommend!

They wouldnt even help me with a baby ????

I took one of my cats here. She was diagnosed within minutes with glaucoma and given a treatment plan. They were wonderful here, very compassionate and understanding! I can't recommend them enough, reasonable prices, excellent service!

I was in desperate need of an eye doctor for my chihuahua. The first appointment I could get was a month away, so I took it. We live 40+ minutes away and traffic was very bad on the day of the appointment, and I called to let them know that we'd be late for the 2:30pm time. They promised to "work us in." When my wife arrived just after 2:45, she was told that they run a precise operation and 15 minutes late is too long. She could stay until after 5pm and pay a quadruple rate of $800. My wife was treated brusquely despite our calls and pleas for help. They may be the only veterinary ophthalmologist in Tucson, but people with zero compassion, flexibility, or love for animals or people are in the wrong business.

Very expensive, but the care is worth it.

All staff is kind, patient and professional. They take great care of my dog. Highly recommend Dr. Barrett. He explained the procedure and answered all of my questions about surgery and aftercare. I really appreciate their covid safety measures. People wait in their cars, staff accompany pets inside, then doctors contact owners by phone.

They always treat my kitty great and make sure his comfort is a priority. They are expensive, but worth it. They care about the animals, not the money. I never have to make multiple visits, they fix the issue the first time.

you got to be kidding me! $72 dollars for eyedrops i can get at wal- mart with a prescription for $3.22 cents

I have a Boxer who has eye problems now that she's older and this place really took care of her and helped me with multiple options. The staff is great with the pets and the owners. They answered all of my questions and concerns. If your pet has eye problems I definitely recommend going here. You won't regret it!

Dr Meredith is simply the best. He and his staff continually demonstrate a high level of expertise and care in all aspects of the practice. Dr Meredith always makes us feel confident and grateful, even during challenging times.

We have loved working with Eye Care for Animals. Our foster HATES vets, probably because he was mostly blind, and was terrible to the staff. They never were anything less than gracious with him and worked with him until he was eating out of their hands. He is now doing great with very improved vision (more than we could ask for with detached retinas). Highly recommend them but hope you won't need them!

Our lovey 17 year old cat had both retinas detach due to high blood pressure from kidney failure. He got immediate attention and (lots of meds). I believe they have given him the best treatment to help his vision.

A-MA-ZING! I couldn't afford an emergency surgery for my pup and the Dr. came up with an intense alternative using medications. A month later, she's completely healed and we've got a little more work to go to minimize scaring, and maintenance. I'm grateful to all the staff here!
