NOT FOR WORKING DOGS, does not follow the 2021 AAHA Working Dog Guidelines: I was hopeful for this veterinarian because the office staff was so informative and helpful. Unfortunately, if you have a working dog or a sport dog and you are their handler, the veterinarian is unwilling to have you accompany your k9 inside right now. As a handler, this position is unacceptable and under no circumstances would I place my injured dog in an unfamiliar situation where I cannot personally monitor their experiences and response and change/modify their training plan accordingly. The office staff was kind enough to check with veterinarian, Dr Boenke, who said, "We can take your dog in and if they are anxious or have another issue, we can send them home with sedatives." This statement tells me that the veterinarian has little to no experience with the relationship between working dog and handler. If you're looking for pet care, this might be a nice place. If you have a sport dog or working dog, I would look elsewhere.

Cimarron Animal Hospital was very accepting, caring, courteous, and proactive with our cat Allegro. Miranda who took our calls, and spoke to us, was very courteous, kind, professional, and patient. The veterinarian was very good and knowledgeable. She spoke concisely and to our level about Allegro's condition and health. We couldn't ask or find a better animal hospital and veterinarian, in such a short period of time, when Allegro's health rapidly deteriorated. Thank-you.

Biggest quack vet in Tucson! Sophia Valdez would have taken every dime out of my pocket if I would have let her ! Unneccsary charges ! Rude. Never called in my dogs meds. The staff was also rude and not responding to emails Don't go here if you want to take real care care if your babies.

A little pricey, but you can't put a price on happiness and health. I can tell my cat Zeus is feeling better and he is so happy to be back home.

I owe it to their team for not only fitting in my dog between other appointments and giving me multiple ranges of cost for care which made it affordable for me. And because of their care, my dog survived parvo!!!! Beyond grateful :)

They took great care of our little kitty! Our 1 year old cat broke his hip and needed emergency care. He ended up needing surgery which went well. We were always welcomed in the office with great enthusiasm. Everyone seemed to love Phoebus even though he was not his best self :) Happy to say that he is doing much better now and more snuggly than ever.

I took my cat Kaylee into this office on the recommendation of my friends- when I adopted her from PACC they didn't notice the fact that she had a MASSIVE necrotic abscess. Called and got her into the vet first thing in the morning and I can say with confidence that that decision saved her life. My little kitty had to have several surgical debridements of infected tissues and ended up staying in the hospital. The staff have always been kind as well as super accommodating; they made visiting her easy during her hospitalization as well. She was treated very well, her cage was always clean, and she herself was kept in very good condition. Weeks after, she is happy, healthy, and on a steady path to recovery! I cannot emphasize enough the quality of care she received here. If you are considering taking your pet into this office, know that they will receive excellent care.

Incredible staff and honest. If you want a vet that actually cares and isn't just about running more tests best place to go.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I went in with a mass that was TINY at the time concerned as to what it might be. They ran around in circles telling what it MIGHT be giving me different allergy meds instead of testing it or just taking it off. Now, 5 months and a new vet later, I find out that mass was a mass cell tumor (grade 3)and my dog has about 4-6 months without incredibly expensive chemo meds. Thanks to their incompetence. On top of their lack of concern for my dog, the front desk is lack entirely on their communication and customer service skills. I would call and email and get zero response back and would have to show up to get someone to talk to me. So for something that could have almost been entirely avoided months ago, my dog will now die with an open hole larger than a ping pong ball and a scar larger than my hand.

Wonderful service. They took excellent care of my girl. They were kind and gentle with her. The Dr explained everything that went on & what i should do. Very fair prices no unnecessary upselling. I'm so very glad I found them.

I adopted a new puppy that I was told was well taken care of and healthy, and that could not have been further from the truth. Luckily Cimarron Animal Hospital is near my home! Everyone there was so very kind and knowledgeable, and helped my new puppy so much. I know that I won't give up on my puppy, and it felt great to get that same feeling from the staff.

Love the compassion (I'm a super nervous mom to an aging pooch) and professionalism of Dr. Bohnke and the Cimarron team. They've been my vet since I moved to Tucson a few years back and we couldn't be in better hands.

I took our beloved pet JuneBug to be evaluated, she had a growth growing on her stomach. I understand due to covid times have changed, they do not allow owners in the clinic. But the moment the took her inside the staff called to upsale services. The Vet even called to say she would like to add this and that for further evaluation. Several hundreds of dollars later, my baby comes out to greet me. I have not received one call back for test results, lab results, follow up appointments anything. The worst customer service when I call them I get the run around. And now most likely in response to this review the Dr reaches out to give more excuses of how the labs got mislabeled and were sent to the wrong place

I love Cimarron. I've had three dogs here over 25 years and have brought my parents dogs here too. People have come and gone over those years, but unfailingly they have been good people. I know most of the employees by face and name and they know me too. I ask questions and get honest answers. I have found them to be open to discussing options too. Occasionally things happen and people have bad days, but when you are in need, they are there for you and your fur babies. Prices are prices; I've heard of some really high prices out there, but Cimarron is reasonable. And really, it's quite hard to put a price on the love given by your pet. Would I change? Not willingly. I'm staying with Cimarron.

Dr. Bohnke and her staff provided excellent, timely, and loving care for our senior cat, Lucy. As tough as it is to say goodbye to a beloved pet, they made us and our kitty feel so comfortable and cared for when it was time. Every single person there communicated with empathy and compassion, can't express how grateful we are to Cimarron for being there for us.

The amazing professionals here saved my puppy's life. Everyone here was so kind, informational, caring and thorough. I came to them on a Saturday as I was passing through town for an emergency and I'm so glad I went to them. If I lived in town I'd pick them as my permanent vet and never look back! Amazing people!

Cimarron Animal Hospital cremated my dog a few months ago as well as put down our family dog a few days ago in addition to another cremation. Our experience was incredible. The whole team is extremely kind, respectful and explained each and every step to us. They gave us so much time with our baby and were very accommodating when we asked for clay paw prints and little tufts of our dog's hair. When I received the ashes of my dog back in October, it came in a beautiful, tiny urn and you could tell a lot of thought went into the box. We will be using them for all of our vet needs from now on and I cannot recommend them enough.

Friendly staff. The veterinarian thoroughly examined our dog. Then patiently explained our options, presenting a detailed procedures cost breakdown. Tests were done quickly. Medicine was given. Expenses were much lower than expected. Result: Dog given a few years reprieve, happy owner's. Outstanding!

This is my regular vet and I started going there over 3yrs ago after adopting my 2! brothers barely old enough to adopt. I love the vet who is also the owner. She is calm, gentle touch and thourough with exams and always has time for questions. She knows pricing right away for most common procedures and all her staff from front desk who greets, even when pet owners are coming in for a sad visit, the staff greeting is so caring, compassionate and appropriate. Her techs are on point too with handling all kinds of animals. I've had nothing but positives here for Mr.P and Mr.J

Our little guy came here to have his teeth cleaned and a few pulled. For our guy, this can be dangerous because of his heart murmur. Not only did they reassure me, but they also went out of their way to reduce his small dog anxiety. They treated my dog as if it was their own, even letting him sit with them on their laps during their lunch breaks as he recovered from the anesthesia. In addition to all this, through the suggestions of their fabulous tech, we went with their wellness plan that saved us hundreds on the procedure. This clinic has earned customers for life. They are the best we have seen. Big shoutout to Maria, Denise, and Claire for all of your hardwork!
