As a family who did not intend to take in a small herd of guinea pigs as rescues, we had no idea what to expect. One of the animals was suffering greatly due to poor husbandry by the original parents who just weren't prepared. We expected the worst when we brought this little piggie in to be euthanized per our expectations of the condition. The staff were able to nurse her back to health and get her back to her cagemates as well as educate us on how to care for the animal moving forward. They saved a life. And while it may seem like it was just a guinea pig......the relief they brought to both us and the animal was invaluable. When you add the affordability of the treatment compared to what you might see elsewhere, its easy to see why this place is so well known. Great staff, great results, great vibes. These folks will now be our go to for our pets in Tucson.

They are awesome. We finally found a vet we can trust.

The veterinarian didn't care for the very tiny kitten I had. I found it in our backyard skinny and so small . I said it hasn't been drinking in days and they still didn't help. That's how you know they're for money then helping pets. They told me to look up on the internet how to take care of a kitten. They could of gave me pointers. This south tucson veterinarian wasn't helpful. Pretty sad I have to go all the way to the north to get emergency pet care. They even gave my kitten fluids right away no cost because they knew that's what it needed because it was dehydrated.

Dr. Edwards was argumentative and totally rude during our visit. She called our beloved pet "retarded" and mentally ill several times. She created such a hostile environment and threatened us several times into paying for her services and products. It is clear that she is VERY money hungry and goes at any length to target customers. I would strongly recommend to take your pets ANYWHERE else, this type of Veterinarian is a true shame to the field and she needs to be put out of business. There is a reason why she has been on probation with the Arizona State Veterinary Board throughout her entire career - she treats customers, employees, and patients alike with horrible care and compassion.

They where super rude and super aggressive with my rabbit to the point he fell on the floor and me leaving crying.

Poor quality, they never answer, they’re selected in who they like to be nice to! You may save a few bucks but trust me it’s way more worth it to go to a professional clinic. The Vet is probably certified but some of the these vet assistants seem extremely unskilled. Take your pet somewhere else where they will be cared for and not looked at as just another charge for their income.

I have never received such nasty customer service from a professional as I received from Dr. Edwards. As a vet, part of her job is to educate her patients about their pets health. Instead, she lectures, degrades and belittles pet owners. Her behavior is that of a child who has to get the last word and knows it all. Being that I am a minority, I left her office questioning if she thought she could treat me with such disregard because of the color of my skin. I felt there had to be some underlying reason because I cannot fathom how she could be so condescending and argumentative during a simple checkup. As a business owner myself, I am astounded that as an educated woman, Dr. Edwards lacks common decency toward others.

I have professionally vetted hundreds of animals. This woman is the best veterinarian I have ever known. You'd be lucky to find such a capable, fair, and wise doctor for your best friend.

You'll never find a more caring vet that has the absolute best interest of your animal in mind. She will tell it to you straight and will not run up a ton of unnecessary charges. Very reasonably priced, wonderful staff. I could not be happier with the care my animals receive. She is always my #1 choice.

I love this place. The atmosphere is relaxed. The people/staff are awesome. The doctor is knowledgeable. My bills are always cheaper than I expected them to be.You rock! Keep up the good work! ❤️

It was a good place to take your animals

The doctor and the techs are so very caring and good with animals... they obviously love them ! They are cheaper than most . The did my dog teeth removal for less than half other clinics were quoting . I adore their care for my fur babies !

We got the name of this vet from the place we got our dog , in the beginning she seemed very nice but our dog got hurt we were told to drop the dog off for x-ray when we went to pick up the dog she did not do x-ray to and said he hurt his paw after a week called the vet and she told us the dog was playing us and he would heal another 2weeks and took him in for check up and she was soooo rude said she told us about his knee and now may need MRI and surgery she did not do her job and now my dog will pay for it with a bad knee we are going to another vet this woman should be out of business

I went in for a nail tram. Octia (Golden Retriever mixed with chow chow) been going for a few months now for a nail trim. There has never been a problem before. The Technicians woman have always been super sweet to her. That is why Arizona Small Animal Clinic was my number one choice. This time they put me in a room to do a physical on her. The veterinarian (It was our first time meeting) was really aggressive with Octia. Octia was yelping like I never heard her yelp before. She tried to run away from the veterinarian, she graved her by one of her back legs and started pulling her. Octia was not giving up, the veterinarian flipped her on her back by her hind leg. Then she started accusing me of abuse Octia.(She is a rescue)At this point one of the Technician woman came in to help. She even said that Octia has never acted like this before. The Veterinarian got into octia face by giving it and scolding her. At the same time scolding me for feeling uncomfortable and being upset of what she was doing.

Dr. Edwards and staff are compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond every time to provide quality care for all of my dogs. I completely trust Dr. Edwards with all of my pets' medical needs and wholeheartedly recommend Arizona Small Animal Clinic.

The vet tech and vet were so nice and they were great teach iij ng my granddaughters about rabbit care.

Dr. Edwards is extremely condescending. I have been there twice and was able to look past her rudeness, but this last time I watched her yell at an Intern. It saddens me that people like her think it is OK to be this disrespectful.

Great people. My baby liked everybody. They took time to actually explain what causes the issue. And didn't push drug.

A cat adopted my son. She showed up at his door emaciated, ill, and sad looking. He responsibly took her to this vet for an evaluation. Dr. Edwards shamed my son, called him names, exploited the fact the cat showed up at his house as if he had stolen the cat and so my son left the office. He doesn't respond well to condescending, rudeness and shaming nor do most people. She called me wanting to speak to my son and she was unreasonable with me. I sent my son back to her office to pick up an antibiotic and pay the bill. We will NEVER see her again and no one should. She cares more about being right than the wellness of the animal.
