Shauna's Paw Spa Surprise, Arizona

Scheduled a grooming appointment for our applehead chihuahua- molly and she did amazing! Never went to a groomer & didn’t know what to expect. I texted her, she was flexible with us. Dropped her off for a couple hours Costed $40 for the bath, nails, & haircut. I didn’t know she included a picture! Made it completely worth it!

I made an appointment over a week in advance to get my little dog groomed after picking up our first dog from being groomed. I was told to bring my second dog at 6 pm today. When I showed up a 6pm I was asked to step out back while she finished up another dog. After 15 minutes the groomer said” I thought I told you to call in advance. I have another big dog to do. Sorry.” Granted there was some concern about grooming my dog who is nervous around clippers but she could have been honest and state should would not groom her. No attempt to reschedule so I can only assume she will never cut her hair. I will make sure to share my experience at the local dog park I take my puppy to each day.

I used to take me dog here at first it was fine. The last time she was Kept for almost 8 hours and her fur was really choppy. She had a cut under her armpit and on her neck. She was so thirsty when I got home. I'm never going back. My little Molly was traumatized.

I took my dog Stevie there for the first time yesterday. I absolutely love Shauna and all the employees. She did a wonderful job on my baby. She truly cares about the animals!!! I highly recommend them. I will definitely be going back.

People be careful with this place..When everyone was giving her a review and mentioned not good place to take pets I stood up for them..and the last time I took my dogs to get groomed..it suck..We would not be taking our pets at this place any more....

A few years back I used to be around and was friends and I could tell you this Shauna is an awesome groomer the place is good and clean in the dogs are safe and she's a nice person

We booked a grooming appointment based on some friends recommendations. Then I read the reviews. After reading the negative reviews I wondered if I made a mistake. Upon arriving, I saw nothing that matched the negative reviews. The place was clean and did not smell. Yes the dogs roam free in a pen, but Shauna gives you a choice if you would prefer your dog in a kennel. I was impressed by the quality of her grooming and our dogs seemed to enjoy the time they spent with her. We will be bringing our dogs back to see Shauna again!

Always makes herself available. I take my dog there and she is always welcoming even without an appointment. Thank you shauna for the great service. All these idiots that had negative feedback need to get a life already and stop complaining about everything.

I've taken my two little girls to Shauna 3 times since being in Arizona. No, this isn't a fancy place but it's convenient, clean and the grooming is good. Yes, there is a pen where dogs can socialize out in the open of the parlor. Yes there are individual crates you can have your dog put in if you prefer and that's what I do. Yes the place is in a house but it is clean and DOESN'T smell like urine or feces as some people describe. Shauna and her staff are very good to my girls and never do they feel nervous or upset when I leave them. They are generally done in two hours and Shauna will call me and I pick them up immediately. I even had them at her house late one evening as my husband was terminally ill and I got caught up at the hospital. There was no problem with her keeping them and she never charged me a dime. Just wished us well. Now that's service. I don't know where these people get off with all these weird, derogatory comments as my girls are happy to go there and come out looking beautiful. There is never any stress and they come home with NO cuts, all their ears intact, and NO bloody nails. The price is very reasonable and the service is great. If your looking for a groomer, I have no hesitation referring Shauna.

Stopped in to check it out, the smell! Dogs running around loose where the dogs are being groomed. Feces and urine on the floor where the dogs are running around - and I think they put the dogs that have been groomed on the floor (she said they don't cage them) - to run through the mess. So noisy with all the chaotic barking, I'm sure the dogs must be stressed. I think a lot of the dogs that are running around are dogs they are trying to adopt out, which is a nice idea, but the mess and chaos is unsanitary and dangerous. I wont be leaving my guy there.
