This is a great center, but would like to see notice of expired lincense before they expire. Also was wondering why immunizations are not offered there. Just wondering.

Nice, clean place. I've been here several times with our children to see the dogs and cats with plans to adopt in the near future. Today seemed the right time when we found a sweet, friendly cat that felt like a good fit for our family. However, when I went to fill out the paperwork, I discovered that I had to commit to keeping her an indoor cat ONLY. I personally can't commit to that. I think it's cruel to never allow a living, breathing creature a breath of fresh air and outdoor exercise! I understand the importance of protecting an animal from predators and all that, but never at the expense of giving them a normal life. The kind ladies who care for the cats in there explained to me that some of the cats in there are depressed...is it any wonder? I'd be depressed too, under such circumstances. Give those poor creatures a normal, healthy life like God intended his creatures to enjoy and they will be happy, not depressed!

Awesome. Compassionate, helpful and they take animal rescue seriously. They offer a clinic that allows low income people to spay or neuter their pets, microchip and get rabies shot for $20!!!

I have been here a few times to adopt some dogs but I had to drop one off today that I found and they completely refused the dog they said for me to take to to the huchuca animal control guy It's just a poor little puppy she was in the car right out side and they said no way I can't believe this I'm never adopting or donating to this shelter ever again I hope this helps

Excellent people over at the Nancy J Brua Animal shelter. My kids and I found 2 loose dogs on our way to school a few days ago. Though they were technically closed, they allowed me to bring the doggos in to them at 7:30am. They gave me a courtesy call within an hour to let me know that their owner had been found and had picked up his furry babies!

The Volunteers are absolutely wonderful, they provide such great service to those poor animals who need it the most. No matter how small or mangled the animal is, they try their very best to find them a forever home and work with the every day to build strength back to being happy and ready to play. I saved my sweet baby kitten Zeke from there, all thanks to the lovely ladies that were in the Cat Room♡ To all the people there (Law Enforcement and Volunteers), thank you so much for your service and time with these poor homeless animals. I wouldn't have found Zeke if it wasnt for you! THANK YOU ♡

The staff and volunteers were exceptionally kind and helpful. The process of adopting seemed complicated but it all has a purpose. (Like appointments during Covid and no black cats before Haloween.) Trust them and do things their way. They care and are there to help. Look for a cell tower and a large painted ground level water tank. Consider donating supplies.

Lost my cat and found a photo of one adoptable on their site just like him. I emailed with a question to specifics and was informed within an hour.

The staff clearly loves animals as much as you'd expect from a place called an Animal Care Center. But they love people, too, and they took great care of me as I got my dog licensed. They even suggested to me a way to save a few dollars (get the 3-year rabies booster and the 3-year license instead of the one-year). Due to COVID, they are currently open by appointment only, so when I went in, I was the only one there. I would say that I'll definitely use them again, but since it is a requirement to license dogs, that isn't really an effective recommendation. Perhaps it is more useful if I say that I will enjoy going back when the time comes.
