** Beware deceitful practices**If I could give zero stars I would. Been our vet for 5 years. My wife brought our dog (not sick) in for a simple set of yearly shots; this is all we asked for. The visit was $250. I later questioned the vet on two procedures that were done without much explanation to my wife. The answer was “but she signed the estimate” and not the professional explanation of “we are sorry for not explaining the procedure correctly, how can we keep your business?” I requested a refund on the bloodwork, simply explaining that we would like to remain good customers and requested they refund the bloodwork and a stool sample that was not even completed yet. The answer was no. I rephrased my request and asked if they were willing to lose our business over about $150. The answer was again, no….I run a successful business and would never treat a customer this way over $150 dispute…this is why my business is successful and customers love us. Terrible customer service.

Sierra Animal Hospital provides excellent veterinary care at reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

My dogs have been going there since 2007. They treat you like family. That is very important especially when your pet is I'll or has died. I want to thank the Drs esp Dr Jody, her Saturday staff for helping my with Harleys passing. And I appreciate your billing office for having creative financing to allow me to have vet care. Thank you the sympathy card.

Dr. Bones at the Sierra Animal and their staff are very friendly, and on an emergency call, they will schedule for you to bring your animal in at their earliest availability, or they will advise you on what steps to take or try to help you over the phone to help with your animal's emergency issue. Both of our animals have had a emergencies and Dr. BONES and his staff are great in treating our animals. ????????????

Came here in January when my dad's cat became I'll. They helped us so much when she passed in July.

Wonderful professional team! My dog jumped a 6 ft wall and cracked open 2 inches of his skin under the chin. They squeezed him in their busy schedule and assured he did not need stitches, only antibiotics & anti-inflamatory. I could tell the Dr. already had an exhausting day, but still kept her spirits high and took care of my German Shepherd puppy♡♡♡ I'm so grateful they took him in and now he's sleeping well. I'm keeping them in my Contacts and definitely recommend their services.????

Staff was friendly and our Veterinarian really took the time to listen and give us some ideas of how to deal with our elderly dog. We were a little late in being seen but in fairness there was a legitimate emergency that the front desk handled very well. Do bring a jacket because it is bone chilling inside…no virus is spreading to you or you pets as it should be!

I cannot say enough good things about this vet clinic!!! We were from out of town and my dad’s dog (his life) was attacked by another dog in our campground. We called and they put us in as a emergency and saw him immediately!! They were so efficient and kind. We had to leave the dog for observation and walked in to pick him up and the front desk lady had him wrapped in a blanket in her lap. Such a personal and kind attention. The next days we were contacted by the doctor checking on him. I wish this clinic was in my hometown!! Thank you again from Cody and his family.

We recently moved to Sierra vista. Our 14 yr. Old cat got very sick. We called every vet in the area and no one could see her. Sierra Animal Hospital took the info and called back saying they could see in a couple hours. Dr. Moffett was kind, friendly and professional, along with all other staff. They Were able to help our cat feel much better. We were so relieved. Thank you so much.

This clinic does not keep Good records or track medication dosages. I repeatedly had problems getting my pet's medication refilled. It's hard having an ill pet. This place made everything so stressful I considered putting my pet down. There is no compassion here. They seem incapable of properly scheduling and gave me the runaround. It was a miserable experience dealing with these people. I followed up this morning and called to speak with the office manager. He told me that it was my problem and they were doing me a service by potentially filling the medication. He is a very rude individual as well as his staff. Save yourself the stress and find another clinic. It's just not worth it.

I want to give an AWESOME review of the entire staff of Sierra Animal Hospital. We have been going to this Vet now for 4 years with 3 different doggies. Each and EVERY TIME the front staff knows exactly who we are and they are very personal with us. Meaning- they remember specific conversations about us and our doggies- that makes me feel like part of a great family of pet lovers. The VETS are amazing as well. Even though my dog is shaking in the Vet- they calm them down as they examine the dogs. We have had teeth cleaning (all 3 dogs at once OUCH) and the staff was amazing. I just can't RAVE enough on this Vet Hospital!! Thank-you for being awesome!!!

Sierra took us for an emergency appointment on a Saturday afternoon when our kitten popped all her external stitches the day after she was spayed, and nowhere else was open or could take us. The vet and her assistant were fantastic -- very personable and caring. Sierra is reasonably priced, too. Even knowing we have a regular vet, Sierra called on Monday to check how our kitten was doing. I would definitely recommend them. Note, if you're using Google Maps to find Sierra: Google Maps had the street entrance around the corner from where it actually was. If you reach the traffic lights (heading south), you've gone too far. The entrance is just prior to the office park on the northwest corner at the lights. I've reported this error to Google Maps, so hopefully it will be corrected by the time you read this.

Been going here for 25 years. Best and concerned care in the Vista.

I've only had to use them twice for emergencies. Once ten years ago for my dog who got hit by a car. They did a great job on her surgery and she's still running strong at 12. I just took our new puppy in for concern she might have parvo even though she's vaccinated. The test was negative and the doctor was very good about explaining our other options to find out the problem.

Too expensive. The veterinarian that saw my cat must have thought I had a lot of money. Her recommendations were unnecessary and not needed. The office staff very friendly and helpful.
