We have been going to Jackson Veterinary Services since our arrival to the area in May of 2019. From the very beginning Dr. Jackson and his entire team have treated us and our animals as family members. Dr. Jackson is not only a skilled veterinarian, he's also very compassionate; whether it's about our dog who's had an incognito walnut logded in his intestines for several months without causing any visible issues (until it did, of course), or accompanying our sweet kitty of ten years on her final journey, our experiences there have always been kind and empathetic. This clinic's pricing is also very reasonable.

My dog was added to the schedule for a possible broken foot. I believe she was well cared for. Fridays are surgery days so I was very thankful for that. Thank goodness my girl only had a sprained foot. All in all I will go back.

It was rough going initially but they came through for me and I'm very happy with them they are more affordable than Coronado vet the girls at the desk are great Anthony the technician was absolutely wonderful all in all I'm happy with them I would go back again but hope I don't have to you know what I mean

We adopted our dog on December 20 from the local shelter. Jackson veterinary is not our vet, but the shelter had an appointment made for our dog to have a blood test done to see if she needs to be on medication. We took her in the morning of the 22nd to drop her off. The office staff was disinterested at best. They didn't ask if we had any concerns or questions, didn't offer a chance to speak with the vet. When they called us to pick her up, same as when we dropped her off, no questions no information no offer to speak to anyone. The only friendly person was the tech who brought our dog out. We were told we would have results in one to two days. We have heard nothing. From December 27 to 31, I called the office twice a day every day. Not a single call was picked up, and I didn't get a voicemail to leave a message. I called and set an appointment with our regular vet as it seemed clear our dog was not a priority. Tuesday, my husband decided to try once more and finally someone answered the phone. After explaining that we just wanted the results of our dog's blood test, he was told that they had our contact information and the vet would call us back. Again I have heard nothing. I can't speak specifically to the vet as we were never given a chance to speak to them, but I would suggest finding a different vet if you actually want help or answers or any sort of interaction.

My best friend was cared for quickly and kindly without costing me an arm and a leg. Thank you.........

Dr. Jackson was great. He worked the kitten in and she is doing wonderful! The staff was kind and helpful. I am very grateful he was willing to work her in on a short Holiday work week!

Sweet folks. Less expensive than everywhere else I've gone (which has been every animal care clinic/hospital). And my fur baby gets excited to see everyone on staff. I'll never go anywhere else for my animal care needs. ✌????❤

You will not go wrong here. I haven't been here as my last hound passed a couple years ago. But the Vet is A-ONE. AND personnel as well. Animal lovers. The board as well. My dogs were never afraid to go in there. 5 woof's!

I'm new in town and had to board my dog on short notice. She was out of date on her shots but they took her in and have her the required vaccinations without the mandatory first time appointment. I will continue to use their services for the remainder of my time in the area.

Great vet, nice staff that is friendly and helpful. But they are very busy. If they ask you if they can put you on hold, it will be about a 15-minute hold.

The staff is friendly, and Dr. Jackson is very knowledgeable. When our dog was bit by a snake, they were attentive and gave all the details,including the chances of it working. They did this in a very kind and professional manner. I highly recommend.

The only vet in town I trust with my dogs. Dr. Jackson is always willing to take the extra time to figure out just what is going on with our pets.

Dr. Jackson's bedside manner with our dog is extraordinary. He's a very gentle, kind, mild-mannered vet who really seems to genuinely care about each pet on a personal level. I would highly recommend Dr. Jackson to anyone looking for a good vet to take care of their pets. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the wait time to be seen isn't perfect. We've waited 30-40 minutes past our appointment times to actually get into an exam room. I guess that's pretty par for the course for medical appointments and it's usually not such a big deal. Just don't plan to run in on a lunch break and expect to make it back to work on time.

They did a great job ony dogs teeth cleaning.

This vet clinic has helped so much when I comes to my new rescue Sammy. He ended up having a lot of issues including Ehrlichia. They did everything they could to find the right diagnosis as he's had a multitude of seemingly separate symptoms. I'm grateful for all their help - Tiffany even called to check on him a few days later, and gave extra advice to make sure he gets healthy. Thanks guys!!

My puppy loves going to the vet! This was her second visit.

They did such a good job on my dog. We are new in town and I am so happy to have found a caring and capable vet.

I'm fairly new to town so I didn't hear about Dr Jackson until a co-worker told me to go to him. My dog (Gracie) has to have allergy shots almost every 6 weeks or she's just miserable. I had to pay nearly $400 every 6 weeks for a Dr visit and the allergy shot through Sierra Animal Hospital and Frontier. The Dr visit and shot would have cost me only $110 at Jackson's however, Dr Jackson put her on a different medication that does exactly the same thing in the same amount of time, with no side effects and is a pill instead of a shot. That pill is only $57 for a month's supply. I can get refills at Jackson's and they told me about a rewards program through the distributor where I get back $11 every refill. Total monthly cost is only going to be $57!!! Dr Jackson is the kindest vet I've ever seen. He got down on the floor to do the exam, took the time to explain things in a way that wasn't demeaning, and even checked out Gracie's mouth since she had just had surgery a couple day's before to make sure she was healing well. Staff is warm and courteous - not one snide remark or rude comment out of any of them. I've decided to stay in SV while my military family moves on to their next post (I'm the grandma) :) and Jackson's will be my vet for life. Thank you so much Dr Jackson and staff!
