Dr Kinney’s warm and professional care is outstanding. You can tell she really cares about your pet. The rest of the staff is also great. The appointments are on time and it’s a nice, clean facility.

I don't know how they do it. But they are the best in the west.

We always feel like the entire staff cares about the well-being of our four-legged family. No matter how great or small the emergency, they are compassionate and willing to help us in any way. THANK YOU!!

Prompt, courteous, friendly, empathetic and helpful

The front desk staff are amazing and the office is clean and bright. But, I wish I'd never brought my pet here. She had 2 cancer masses, the internal one was very large and she was in a delicate state. Well on the second to last visit after coming home, she stopped eating. And on the last visit the following week, they gave her back to me vomiting. From that point on, she was unable to hold water or anything. She died the morning after her visit, and I had repeatedly asked for end of life cancer pain management options, which were basically ignored. The traveling to and from the vet was not the best thing for her to begin with. My pet died suffering in much pain and also me watching and living far from veterinary care was painful for me too. This clinic might be fine for simpler things, but I feel the technicians and/or staff are inexperienced in moving or handling pets with inflammatory conditions when they take them back behind closed doors to examine, etc. Also basically ignoring my repeated requests for stronger pain options, was against what I was trying to accomplish entirely. And since she was vomiting in the end, no pain medicine could be kept down and nobody was available to help as she was dying. Horrible experience. I should've never left my pets side there. Unable to recommend.

This is the most incompetent vet clinic in Northern az what a joke please for the safety of your pet take them somewhere else

Terrible experience numerous times. Had a dog that was #weeks pregnant told me 1 week before that she wasn't pregnant, took her back a few days later, oh yeah she has pups, ok when will she have them ??? Maybe a few weeks. Ok will she need a c-section? "No she will be fine." Well she had to have an emergency c-section. I called they told me oh we don't have staff for that. Needless to say emergency vet clinic is where we went. For the safety of your pets f*$# this place they are a JOKE! Not a reliable place and I was an established client for numerous years.

We took our lobby cat from work here. They are ???? great.

If I could give this vet 10 stars I would. We originally called and made an appointment for our exotic for a procedure. They were super accommodating and were able to answer all our questions. On the day of said surgery, we had an incident with our dog and we’re in search of getting her seen. These amazing people at oak creek got my dog right in to be seen and were able to fix her right up. I am so very thankful to have found this veterinarian. Our exotic is doing great and the doctor was super helpful with our concerns. Thank you for going above and beyond to help us!

Got me in immediately! The last vet (cornville vet clinic) was awful! EVERYONE here is SUPER friendly and VERY professional!! Having a sick animal is similar to Having a sick baby...I need someone to be professional and sympathetic because the animals have no idea what's going on but they still need help.

My cat had a swollen paw when I came home just before 5pm. I called immediately and they were able to see him as a drop off the next day. Great vet and staff. Everything you would want in a vet clinic. Communication and service A+ Highly recommend.

The doctors and employees were wonderful. They looked George our little Shih Tzu who had come down with a cough while we were traveling. They allowed us to bring him in on short notice, diagnosed his condition and prescribed an antibiotic that cured him in 7 days. Truly wonderful!! Thank you so much.

I drive an hour through tourists to go to this place. They are truly some of the nicest people I've met in AZ. Super personable, I was worried in my 1st appt that we chatted too long and I wouldn't get the full check up on my 15 year going on 2 year old cat. (She's in her second kitty phase, Yay!) Nope, she got a full work up and I got a complete explanation of what was going on with her. She's a healthy cat she's just getting old and needs some help here and there. Other vets had me terrified that she was just going to drop dead. Her doctor listens to me and my concerns. She also considers our relationship when prescribing medications and treatments. Another great thing is they tell you how much things cost, but I don't know if that's possible in every case. Just ask, don't quote me. I don't work there. But I know about how much I'm going to spend ahead of time. Have you ever been to the vet and they tell you something that you know is wrong, and they can't explain in English why they are right? This is NOT that vet. Has your vet called you on their day off to follow up with you on labs you should have done a month ago but couldn't afford? This is this vet. (But I'm totally going to advocate for docs taking their time off. Work life balance is self care. Yes, I called you out in a review. But thank you for the follow up and we'll see you when I get back in town. ????)

I am so impressed and grateful to Dr. Page and the entire staff at the Oak Creek Small Animal Clinic! They were sensitive to my concerns, regarding my Chihuahua, and from the time I booked the appointment, to the day of my appointment, it was a pleasure. It's nerve wracking and frightening when your little 4 legged furry child is possibly not doing so good! I was so impressed with Silver, the Veterinarian Technician (essentially a nurse) who I spoke with once in the room, waiting for Dr. Page. He was kind, informative, professional and had a warmth about him. Dr. Page was also impressive! That day was a busy Sunday, with emergency visits, etc., so there is a lot of pressure there. Dr. Page was attentive, listened to my concerns, and had sound suggestions and options on how to go forward. He was professional, knowledgeable, and had a very good disposition, making it a comfort to talk with him about my little guy. I felt a sense of trust and felt like he cared, and took his work seriously. Dr. Page also called me to let me know the results of the lab work. I had missed that call, but heard the message he left. I called back, and left a message. He called me back the next day to discuss details of my Chihuahua's situation. Grateful and thankful for the great care my Chihuahua received, and how fantastic Deb and Christine were at the front desk. This is top notch customer service from people who obviously care. It is heartfully appreciated. The facility is clean, and well thought out! It has a warmth and a detail to it that reflects people that truly care about animals, and who go the extra mile to get that conveyed in the environment and design of the place, inside and out. And, gratefully, the news for my little guy was good news, I feel so grateful to this place and the wonderful staff! Thank you Oak Creek Small Animal Clinic!!!!! :)))))))

I've never in my life had the worst experience! I showed up to the appointment with my family, and as I open the front door there were two people blocking the door and would not allow me to enter the building. I wasn't wearing my mask so clearly they knew I was not one of their kind. The vets assistant blocked me and very rudely said: "We're not allowing people without the Covid vaccine to enter the building! I really couldn't believe my ears! We're in Arizona and thankfully we do not have laws on mandatory Covid vaccines nor do we have to wear a mask. When we started questioning their sanity, there were 2 other people that came out and bullied my husband and I in front of my daughter today. They also threatened to call the police and we said sure, no problem! We clearly weren't breaking any law! These people were discriminating. Everyone needs to know how we were treated. I will make sure I let as many people in this community know how wrongfully we were treated by Oak Creek Small Animal Clinic. They called the police on me and my family for sticking up for ourselves! When the police showed up they literally were laughing with us at how ridiculous these people at this vet were! They stated "why would they even need to wear masks if they were vaccinated" The police officers stated they were vaccinated and they STILL made them wear a mask to enter the building lol! Can everyone see how ridiculous and unethical this is? Especially when there are zero mandates in the state of Arizona! Aldo, when I was making appointments I spoke with them literally 4 times on the phone and to 3 different people, and NOT ONE told me I needed the Covid vaccine to come in the building to have my dogs examined for a health certificate for travel. They completely intended to do this and set us up! I'm disgusted by how the entire staff at this clinic mistreat people in their own community.

Our baby had surgery at a different hospital. She pulled out her stitches. Oak creek got us in without a problem and took care of our little girl. Thank you so much!

I have never been more disappointed in my life. We made an appointment only to find out they wouldn't take our kind. They are prejudice. We were not allowed in because we were not Vaccinated they would not let us in. I am not talking about our Dogs, I am talking about myself, as well as my family. They wanted to see proof that I had received my Covid Vaccine. How we were treated was shocking, the moment we walked in the building with almost a security guard approach she yelled out "are you Vaccinated?" My wife was confused, she repeated again you need a your Covid vaccine.

Excellent Veterinary Clinic! We have taken our animals here for years and wouldn't think of changing. Dr Kinney and her staff are so caring, knowledgeable and professional.

Great care and great customer service! I just moved to Sedona with 3 dogs and birds. This place was highly recommended and I see why! My pets are my family and the staff here treats them as such. Very impressed with the doctor, took her time to explain everything, I never felt rushed. I'm very happy I found them and I also highly recommend them too! I'm adding to my review because, they must have a change in desk personnel or something changed! My last name Hernandez by all means, does not automatically mean I'm poor or I can't speak English! You were quick to suggest treatments and without a doubt we paid in advance, we never balk at any price or treatment dealing with our beloved pets because they are family. Yet your front line staff decided we were not as important, wht? because were new? The doctors are wonderful. your staff was disgraceful. Your machine broke, We didn't complain, it happens. We waited and waited for your call back, never came. I had to call and guess what? The machine was up and running yet no callback from your staff. I can go on and on, but the last insult was when she didn't want to deal with my questions which as a concerned pet owner and customer, I had a right to, She put me on hold and put a Spanish speaker who didn't know why he was speaking to me! Are you kidding me?! In this time and age??!! Shane on you and tour facility. Not including Dr Kinney, she's been wonderful but you're as good as whomever you put on the front line to represent you. Never in my 60 urs have I ever experienced what I consider a slight of discrimination! I'm still in shock it was from your clinic and in Sedona, what I consider an upscale city, A city I live in! Shame on you! Four stars to the doctors, no stars to your current front staff.

Open 7 days a week. Pricey but you have to pay for good service.

Dr. Kinney, the owner, is the veterinarian who's taken care of our two cats Comet and Abigail all their lives. She is competent and very compassionate. Thank you Dr. Kinney how you helped us through the difficult time at the end of the life of Comet.

Had an emergency and they worked us in. Everyone was very nice. Dr Kinney was great with our little dog . We are so grateful they were there for us. Thank you so much!
