Edit: I am changing my review because they called me about 30 minutes after the post and got me in for next Tuesday. Thank you for accommodating. I have a very sick dog and waited over 3 weeks for an appointment. They called me the day before, and canceled my appointment and said they would call back to reschedule. The lady that called to reschedule said that the only time she could get my dog in on a Tuesday (only day they are open that I can take off) was in November. I already took the time off for my original appointment. They are not accommodating and didn’t make any exceptions for my situation that was entirely their fault. When I asked if they had other locations to schedule an appointment for me, the lady then told me I would have to call them to schedule an appointment and she couldn’t schedule it for me. I was very surprised at the lack of customer service being that the reason my appointment was canceled was due to them and they couldn’t fit me in any sooner then November. I’m extremely disappointed and now my dog will have to be uncomfortable and wait even longer for an appointment somewhere else.

I had an appt.and as I was driving received a message about having to be charged an additional office visit on top of the shot I was going for. It more than doubled the price. Since he needed the shot we said go ahead, even though we weren't prepared for the cost. They took him in and did a short check and gave him his shot. My hairless dog Patch had been scratching himself raw. Day and night type of scratching. After the appt.as I went to pay they charged me a smaller amount to be seen and the regular shot price for not giving us a heads up. My guy is now itch free and his smooth skin has returned. I would recommend this location to anyone. They knew there timing wasn't right and made up for it. We will continue to be customers here and really appreciate the kindness. Also the staff is always great with us! 5 stars!

Dermatology for animals will always be our choice for our GSD. Our 8 year old GSD is being treated for his skin condition by Dr A Schick. Her expertise and kindness was so appreciated. He recalls kindness and will have no problem revisiting the hospital as needed.

Dr. Schick is amazing. She is equally good with both our dogs and our cats. She is so caring and explains everything so well. Office is always super clean and welcoming. Love this practice!

After a year of my dog itchy, scratchy and my reg vet charging me 80 bucks every 3 weeks for an allergy shot that really wasn’t working. After asking friends in the dog rescue world, Dr Schick came highly recommended and one visit, had my dog comfortable, itch gone, done. She was so much happier! These ppl are Amazing! Side note: my dog Maggy was having bi-monthly vet visits for a year and been going to the vet regularly, when after treating her skin issues, Dr Schick mentioned she detected a heart irregularity I should have checked out! OMG I did, and she was right! We now have her on a heart protocol to monitor, my reg vet never picked up on it.

My recent visit to Dermatology for Animals was fantastic! First time there, and Dr Schick was very thorough and professional. She reviewed all my dog's records from my vet and asked a series of questions to determine what my pet's skin issues were and how to best treat her. The supporting staff was also very friendly. Great place to visit with your pet especially if they have allergies. Dr. Schick offers testing to evaluate what meds they will need to recover. Sometimes the issue is ongoing, but you can be assured that the doc will keep in contact to keep your pet healthy. She has an especially calm manner that is necessary for an anxious pet. We love her! Her staff is also extra special.

10/10 would do it again. Dr. Schick rocks and I only wish I didn't bring my ol' girl to see her sooner. The staff was great as well! While I could not go inside due to Covid restrictions, the staff put me on the phone with the Dr. very quickly. Initial results are good a few days in from the treatments and we can only hope for the best long term; but I feel confident we are headed in the right direction! Dr. Schick and the staff here are all kind, caring, and compassionate from the time that I first made the appointment until we left. My dog had what I thought were severe allergies for several months, for which spent several hundreds of dollars and two different vets working to figure out. After switching to the new vet, we finally tried some new treatment options, which still didn't work. It was on her recommendation that I contact Dermatology for Animals, and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Schick knew right away what the issue was, which was confirmed after receiving results of the skin biopsies. My dog started feeling better within a few days of being on a medication that actually works, and now she is on a treatment plan that is doing wonders for her. She is now 12 years old and I didn't think she would make it to the end of February because she looked and felt so horrible. She is now back to acting more like an 8 year old with plenty of energy and feistiness. I was at my wit's end with trying to help her and am incredibly grateful to get her all fixed up. Costs may be on the higher end, but considering the quality and quantity of work they performed, it's totally worth it, and was nothing compared to the money and many months I wasted with the first vet.

Took my dog to see Dr. Schick after being referred by my dog’s vet. Dr. Schick took the time to listen to my concerns and thrououghly evaluated my dog. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made my dog feel at ease. I really appreciated the time she took to make my dog and I feel important!

You cannot get any better care than here. Dr. Schick is an angel from heaven! She is very thorough in her diagnosis and always prescribes the correct treatment. If your dog has allergies, this is the place to go.

Dr Schick is so caring, gentle and smart with options when we need them. The office is a bit far out for us but we will not hesitate to make the trip as we're confident our fur babe gets the best treatment here.

From the time I entered the doors of Dermatology for Animals, I immediately felt that it was a safe and caring place for my hurting dog. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful.
