High Desert Pet Cremation Prescott Valley, Arizona

We lost our handsome boy Maverick Tuesday morning. It’s been hard on our family, especially my dad. We decided to take Maverick to High Desert to get him cremated. It was obviously a heart breaking situation, but High Desert did amazing at handling all of us, our tears, and our boy. My dad wasn’t ready to pick out urns or focus on anything besides holding his boy one last time. So Paula let me come back and let me ask a thousand questions and never once made me feel like I was a bother. She helped me surprise my dad with the perfect urn, a necklace and a bracelet. Not even 48 hours and we got the call to come get our boy. The way Paula gave my dad the urn and other gifts.. warmed my heart and brought more tears. She didn’t treat us like customers, she treated us like we were family. Loosing our dog was not easy but going to High Desert was the best choice we could have made.

What a compassionate couple and their daughter that I found in this business that I needed due to the devastating loss of my Tommy Boy. So grateful for their love and support at this time. I needed it so much. Thank you to Paula, Todd and Liz from my heart

I was really pleased at the professional job this company did. Paula showed such compassion and care, making sure that my fur babies were handled with care. They combined all my babies into one large beautiful urn so they could all be together. Perfect. Thank you to Paula and all of you behind the scenes!

Staff was great. Reason for the one star i paid extra for paw print and they spell the name on it incorrectly. To late to fix it since he was cremated. Very Very sad cremation paperwork and certificate was spelled correctly.

The lady quoted me 150 for an urn she claimed would fit my 60 pound dog when it came back that he was 67.8 lbs she gouged me an extra 20 to complete the service she had originally promised. When I tried to resolve this with her she told me that it was like I was going into chipotle and buying a standard burrito and then expecting free guacamole at which point I told her they since she wanted to use chipotle as an example what she is doing is charging me extra for a burrito that should have guacamole in the first place. When I told her I would be filing a complaint with the bbb and writing bad reviews and that it is a small town and really highlighting how important customer service is and giving her an out and I asked her so your doubling down and she said yes. Out of fear at what would be done if I did not pay the “extortion” being demanded I coughed up $20 even though I had already bought a urn that was supposed to be held. She even said that usually we can get 60 pounds into that urn but it is actually only meant to hold 50 so that right there shows how she does business. I tried calling the place to speak to another person and I was at first relieved to speak to another person but then it became apparent that the disease of no customer service and doing sneaky dishonest business is a sickness that infects everyone that works there. He repeated the lousy resolution that if I don’t want to pay I can get the original urn that holds a majority and then the rest of my dog would go in a bag. The greed for 20 dollars drove them to try and gouge me for 20 and stick to this plan st the expense of looking extremely unprofessional cheap rude and just in general bad conduct. I hope that all who consider using high desert pet cremations stop and find another one of the fine pet crematoriums in the area, I just don’t want anyone to have to go through what I did in the wake of our dogs death.

This is the third time we have used High Desert Pet Cremation and I cannot tell you how thankful we are to have their services here. Loosing a pet is like loosing a family member. Paula goes above and beyond for our pets. The urns are beautiful. Her care and compassion is consistent and so incredibly helpful during this difficult time. I will go no where else. Brought my dog here and this was the best choice. So lucky to have this business in our town and to have someone like Paula with such compassion to deal with. Definitely recommend!

The staff is wonderful. They treat you with such kindness. The pricing is awesome. Coming from Metro Chicago area where having your pets remains returned to you is cost prohibitive. It is awesome to have your pet treated like a family member. I really apprepricated Christine's kindness towards us. Thanks so much!

High Desert went above and beyond when my Sister in Law's 2 1/2 foot Bearded Dragon passed away and I was put in charge of the task of what to do?!?! Paula met me at 930pm at night and was so nice and very imformative. She even took the time to answer my 12 yr olds creepy kid questions (lol)! I highly reccomend them when it comes to your furry or scaley family members when the time comes!! Thank you Ms. Paula and High Desert for treating Crush with dignity and repect!
