If I could do negative stars I would!! I’m disgusted and how little they care about animals here. My sisters son found a stray kitten, we called because the kitten did not look well they said “Oo it will be fine wait 7 weeks and then call us.” I was heart broken that a place that’s suppose to be an “animal HOSPITAL” wouldn’t even ask to bring the kitten in to make sure everything was okay even if it was for a 5 min check up! So me knowing better called Glendale animal hospital and they told us to bring him in right away. Unfortunately they did have to put the kitten down because it was suffering. COULD YOU IMAGINE IF WE HAD WAITED THE 7 WEEKS!!!!

Professional, reasonable rates, excellent care, Doctor and staff treat your pet like family.

Very caring staff. Shared in my excitement of a puppy. Explains medical standard changes and importance. My puppy loved the staff.

Refused entry and treatment for my service animal because I don't wear a mask due to major health issues. Would not even entertain taking the K9 from outside and treating it while I waited outside. The "gatekeeper" at the front desk has no people skills whatsoever and treated me like one of the homeless people in their seedy neighborhood attempting to use their bathroom. My dog was provided more dignity and respect than I was as it was not mandated to wear an ineffective mask. My business has gladly gone elsewhere despite a few more miles to drive. Avoid this dumpy dive. Wish I could've met a provider to share a fair assessment of their ability and skill.

Dr. Peterson is very knowledgeable and caring. I have been taking my animals to him for almost 20 years. Highly recommend.

Have brought all my dogs, now my girlfriend's cat. They have, for years, been great. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend bringing your pet here, for me pets are family.

They will see your pet by appointment only. They do not see your animal for urgent reasons unless you make an appointment.

Dr Peterson and his staff are wonderful. My mother took our pets here when I was little and we trust them completely. We've been through new puppy parvo (she survived), random illnesses, vaccinations and loss. They are always compassionate and willing to help. When we had to put our sweet kitty down, they let me stay with her until the end and made us a clay impression of her paw. I can't recommend them enough!

Over 30 years of having our beloved pets cared for here. They are always kind and loving to our pets. The staff is wonderful. Dr. Petersen is as fine a person as we ever met. We're so grateful we found Westridge Animal Hospital all those years ago.

If I could a leave no stars I would. the service was horrible the workers were very rude, my puppy was having a Seizure and they wanted me to leave because they had go to there lunch break, I wasn’t informed of the drugs they were giving my puppy and when I finally saw him he was passed Out barely moving and still paddling but they were very happy to charge me $300 Dollars. Now I’m sitting outside the pet emergency hoping my puppy makes it through if anything bad happens to my puppy it’s on them

There are good people there that care about the animals but the communication and business side is non existent really wanted to like this place but doubt we will return

I have been seeing Dr. Petersen at Westridge Animal Hospital for about 2 years now. Unfortunately, both of my boys (a 2 year old blue nose pit bull and a 1 year old cane corso) have both had some medical issues. Dr. Petersen has helped my boys through digestive issues, allergic reactions, emergency tail amputations, valley fever, skin problems, cysts and excessive eye boogers (not a real thing but as a first time dog mom, I may have been a little over protective at first). I have never met a more kind, honest and caring man. From the moment he walks in the room, you can see the natural love he has for animals. They say animals sense the goodness in people and I think it is true. When Dr. Petersen comes into the room, my boys forget about me and are drawn to him. Although having to go to the vet, he calms the room and gives my boys a sense of ease. I would not trust anyone more than Dr. Petersen. If you’re looking for the best bet around, he’s your guy! But enough about Dr. Petersen. He’s not the only great part about Westridge Animal Hospital. His staff is also excellent. Pam up front always does her best get me in around my schedule and is always so friendly. Sorry for calling so often Pam! Last but definitely not least.. Michelle, Kendra and Valentina have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to give my boys extra love whenever we see them. They are so gentle in their care with my boys. From toe nail trimming, blood draws, aspirations, microchipping, shots, etc. They are the best vet techs around! Best vet & staff ever! Been taking our babies to Dr Peterson for about 20 years. He has always been professional, sweet, respectful & loving towards all our dogs. We moved years ago but make the drive to see Dr Peterson and all the amazing ladies that work there They treat us & our babies like family.

No stars because this vet will not help anyone that doesn't benefit him. Someone slit my dogs foot and he did nothing for it. I use to refer people there but not anymore worse vet I've ever dealt with
