I took my dog to Hatton Pet Portrait Studio. This is the first time I used a professional photographer to take photos of my dog. The process was easy and Jennifer was wonderful! Jennifer took some beautiful photos of my dog and I received a photo album with a collection of photos from the session. I was amazed at how she was able to take photos of my dog looking right at the camera. I loved the photo album so much, I returned to have more photos taken. Jennifer Hatton was an absolute pleasure to work with. We recently did a Santa photo session and the pictures far exceeded my expectations. She has a wonderful environment and is so patient with the dogs. These are the best professional pictures I have ever had done and I am so grateful to have these special keepsakes for the rest of my life. One of my dogs passed away just five days after the photos were taken so they are even more special to me and will be cherished forever.

Jennifer took amazing pictures of my 2 Irish Wolfhounds, which required patience and talent since one was a puppy of 5 months! I loved the results! The entire portrait process was fun for all. I highly recommend her and the Hatton Studio.

Jennifer is meticulous and amazing. The studio is so clean and beautiful. I happen to be a lucky winner of a Facebook drawing. At first, I was apprehensive about deals on portraits, or winning a gift certificate... In all honesty, it felt a little too good to be true. But let me tell you, as soon as you speak to Jennifer, you know you are where you belong. She is creative and takes the time to consult with you. She really gets your mind rolling, thinking of concepts and amazing ideas personalized for you. It is easy to see she is very excited about her work, and you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Taking pet portraits is NO easy task, but Jennifer makes it look like a breeze. I was so emotional due to including memorial pictures for one of my fur babies who had just passed away (His name was LunchBox and Jennifer came up with the idea to put LunchBox's ashes in a vintage lunch box for his memorial ❤ ) So I'm very emotional and then at times being flustered with my pack of dogs that, that day randomly decided that their ears no longer worked and decided to make me look like the worst dog mom on planet Earth! Hahaha! But just when I thought I was spinning out, Jennifer takes control, remains calm, professional, and always comes through! She always gets the shot! I'll tell ya, this amazing woman even took the extra measures such as turning down the A/C, and had a fan going because I was getting hot from all the wardrobe changes. The photos are breathtaking. Jennifer is a wonderful and talented photographer! She is so professional and helpful. Her studio is absolutely beautiful and of course, pet and person friendly! Taking portraits of pets is a whole different ballgame than people! She captured gorgeous shots of our two fur babies, one of which is never cooperative with taking photos (she always turns her head), and also took some photos that included our daughter. (This portrait session was done as a surprise for my husband for Father’s Day). Both of our dogs are high anxious energy and she showed so much patience with them (more than I did), resulting in gorgeous finished products! I have followed Hatton Pet Portrait Studio for years online. When it was time to get some family portraits done, Jennifer was my only choice. My dog, Norman was diagnosed with terminal cancer and Jennifer took photos that we will treasure for a lifetime. She truly captured his personality and the bond we have as a family. I am so grateful that she was able to work with us under the circumstances of his illness. She made the session a fun, easygoing experience. She really takes the time to get to know the dogs before, during and even after the sessions, too so it all feels like a truly personal experience.

I am a dog trainer and knew of Jennifer’s beautiful work. I needed new advertising shots and came to her. The photos were amazing! Little did I know at the time, I would lose my fur-baby very suddenly and unexpectedly shortly after the shoot. I just received my photos from my photo shoot with Hatton pet photography and they are beautiful! I am extremely pleased with the whole process. Jennifer is extremely professional, considerate, and fun to work with. She's also very patient with me and my dogs when they decided to be total goofballs and didn't always want to sit still.

Overpriced. Unimpressed. I won a free pet portrait (supposedly valued at $300) at an animal charity event. I was super excited to get a great shot of my dog. Right away when I called to set the appointment Jennifer told me I needed to pay an additional $150 for a 3 photo package. She said the $300 value was a sitting fee. I should’ve known then it was a bit scammy. Against my better judgment I paid the price and scheduled the appointment. Once the photos were taken she offered me a package of maybe 12 photos for over $800?! I told her my girlfriend had recently taken headshots in Los Angeles with a professional photographer who did her hair and makeup and ended up with over 500 retouched digital shots for less than that - and she spent half the day with the photographer. Jennifer seemed unimpressed. And to be honest I am unimpressed with the quality of the photos I received for the price paid. By the time all was said and done I paid almost $400 (not including the $300 “credit”) for 6 digital copies and 2 8x10’s. I should’ve reviewed her a long time ago just after I visited her studio but I kind of blew it off. Today I saw her huge mobile billboard outside of Chapparal Dog Park and felt I should put my experience out there so others will beware.

I had to thank Jennifer at Hatton pet portraits once again after having a portrait done of my Malinois Laya 3 years ago. Laya passed away at 14. The gorgeous picture she captured is a lasting memory. The shoot appointment in her studio will always be remembered as a special day????️

Jennifer was offering her superior pet photography at the American Maltese Association National Specialty Dog Show in Phoenix last month. I had a seven-year-old female Maltese along with a ten-month-old Maltese puppy. Jennifer knew exactly how to turn my wiggly, squirming little puppy into a sophisticated little show dog for the photographs, and she did her creative magic to get both of my dogs to look straight into the camera at the same time ... not an easy task with my two! We had two separate photo shoots, one formal and one informal. Jennifer took a generous number of wonderful shots in a lovely backdrop with adorable toy-dog-size furniture. She also let me join my pups in both the formal and the informal sessions, and I now have some beautiful family portraits that I will always cherish. Jennifer is professional, talented, creative, and artistic. She is a joy to work with, and she also seems to love and enjoy her work. I highly recommend her for pet (and owner!) photography.

Jennifer is kind, personable and an amazing photographer. She really does know all of the tricks to get your pets to look at the camera and show their expressions and personality. I have three dogs, two of which are 50+ pounds, and bringing them all into the dog-friendly studio did not phase her one bit. She allowed our girls to take their time and sniff around the place before turning down the lights and instructing us on what to do, sit/stay, down/stay, etc. One of my dogs did not want to stay, so I did hold her leash during her one-on-one shots, but Jennifer removed the leash afterwards and the editing looks awesome - like there was never a leash there at all! Jennifer truly means "No sit, no stay? No problem!" Overall, my experience with Hatton Pet Portrait Studio was exceptional and I would highly recommend her services to other pet parents.
