Poor communication, staff unwilling to help, lack of transparency in prices, services, policies & procedures. I quickly scheduled a wellness exam with Val who was very sweet and advised the cost would be $55. I called back prior to the appointment to confirm what the wellness exam entailed for the $55 and was told it could vary. I requested the cost for blood tests, urinalysis & parasite screening. Carrie advised they couldn't give me prices, at all. I asked for a range of cost for x-rays, lowest to absolute highest, and again was told all costs would be conveyed to me after the procedures were rendered. Her responses were clipped, abrasive, and I opted not to go to the appt because I've never been told I couldn't receive general pricing. The office didn't care to follow up and immediately signed me up for their spam emails of which there is no 'unsubscribe here' link which I would guess violates something or other.

Honestly this place was amazing! I took my kitty in today for what I thought was a uti, turned out to be inflammation and was given many helpful tips and things to do to help her! I’m so grateful that I was able to take her in to be seen, everyone at the office was so wonderful, kind, and handled my cat with great care, which I absolutely appreciated. The prices are very reasonable, and I wasn’t pressured to give my cat unnecessary treatments! I will definitely be taking my cat (and dog) here for any future medical visits!

The employees are friendly and good with the animals but they're unbelievably disorganized. Never saw the same vet or tech twice. Was told Id get follow up calls I never received, emails that were never sent, and scheduled appointments that were flubbed by the front desk. Ended up feeling hustled on overpriced, unnecessary meds that I felt were forced on me. ($65 for a bottle of shampoo that costs $20 on Amazon) I have to find a new vet and it's just disappointing. Not a way to run a business.

Horrible experience. Received e-confirmation for appointment time. Arrived on time and checked in. Waited 25 minutes, then asked when we would be seen. They told me at that point they had moved my appointment to a later time, and now they were also running late for the later time. They did not communicate a change in the appointment time prior or even upon arrival. I wasted almost 2 hours waiting for the vet who once she arrived, basically listed everything I'd read on the internet as possible diagnoses. While waiting, also encountered other customers who had billing issues and office staff was totally unhelpful. Customer left upset. I will not take my pet there again.

After reading all of the excellent reviews I thought this would be a great choice for a vet office that could help my dog who was suffering from an irritated lump on his side. First impression was pretty good. The place is very clean and new looking. The medical assistant was very nice and really seemed to know what he was doing. The male doctor that came in next was less impressive and not nearly as personable. Initially, he seemed to have trouble getting my dogs heart rate but believed it was quite high, so he mentioned that he should do an EKG. After I said it was likely nerves from being in the office, he proceeded to look at the growth I brought my dog in to be seen for. He asked if I knew it was dripping fluid and seemed fairly bothered by that fact. We very briefly discussed pharmaceutical and surgical options before he said (almost accusingly) "I need to wash my hands" as he quickly slipped out of the room. The assistant came back with the surgical estimate which was about twice as much as I was expecting. I decided that an expensive, squeemish veterinarian may not be the right choice to operate on my pupper. Fortunately, after leaving, I found another office where the doctor was friendly, calm, knowledgeable, fairly priced, and willing to prioritize getting my guy in to get the procedure he needed.

Once again our old girl needed attention to her bottom. Dr. Harold and the staff are top notch. So caring.

I can't tell you how much I love Paradise Point, Dr. Garthe, and all the vet techs here. You can tell they are all passionate about what they do, and I know my pup is in good hands with every visit. I came here by happenstance. My husband and I had had our puppy for one day when she was attacked by our neighbors dog on the way to the car. It was a Saturday and few vets were open, and those that were open where booked. PPAH came recommended by another vet I had called, and although PPAH was booked that day with appointments, they squeezed our pup in to look at her wound. Later that year we had some other health concerns and Dr. Garthe was so thorough in her investigation of the problem and took a copious amount of time explaining what was going on and treatments we could do. She also took time to help us out with new puppy questions regarding training and food. We live in midtown Phoenix, so it’s a haul for us to get to their location. However, it is worth the long drive to get the great care we receive from PPAH. My mom even moved her dog here (over 30 years at her old vet) after seeing the great care we received when her pup needed some veterinary care. Everyone here clearly loves animals, is empathetic, personable and great at their jobs. PPAH comes highly recommended. Thanks for taking such great care of Rae!

All I can say is amazing service. My vet has gotten too busy to see my dog and she had another ear infection. They were great and the prices are very fair. The convenience of them coming to the house for me is definitely a plus with a 150lb dog in this heat. Dr. Garthe is great! I was very happy with her and the service I received from the entire staff, they were all very professional. I am switching and I never thought I would say that, I guess there is something to say about feeling like you are getting the service you expect.

Disappointing (kinda disturbing) lack of urgency in communicating test results… mobile vet experience was good. Our oldest dog had a sudden onset last week of excessive panty, collapse, followed by vomiting. We scheduled a mobile visit and had a generally good experience with the vet who gave us some anti-nausea meds and drew some blood for labs. It was a Thursday and we were told to expect results Fri or Sat. With no results on Tuesday, we called and we’re told nothing was in yet, but to expect a call the next day. Two days later, we followed up again. Nothing. Later that afternoon we finally get the call and have the results emailed so we can review with our regular vet. After looking at the emailed test results, we see that the report was ready the previous Friday morning, but for some reason were not provided until 6 days later. It’s important for any business to do what they say they’re going to do, but in this case, it feels particularly uncaring given how sick our dog was and our efforts to follow up after the expectation they set wasn’t met.

It was my first time at Paradise Point Animal Hospital today, and my experience could not have been any better!! From the friendly receptionist making the appointment this morning to the very end of our visit everyone was super helpful, kind, understanding and professional. I brought my older cat Lilly in, who is extremely shy, almost ferral. She has never left my house before, and she was terrified. Dr Herrold has the calmest disposition and did not give up on getting Lilly comfortable. With her sweet and gentle approach, Lilly soon melted into the hands of Dr Herrold. Lilly received a thourou exam and appropriate treatment....without having to be sedated. That was a huge deal! I really love that Dr Herrold also uses alternative care and is familiar with Bachflower remedies. Since we are on a budget, every effort was made to accomodate us, and still meet Lilly's needs today. The facility was super clean and had a loving, fresh, and happy vibe to it. The best part is, that they also offer mobile veterinary care. I really couldn't be happier, and Lilly had a wonderful experience too. I highly recommend Paradise Point Animal Hospital ????????????

Dr. Lori Herrold is the best veterinarian I have ever encountered. She is knowledgeable, patient, and kind with a cranky dog experiencing some skin issues. In less than 48 hours, my dog had healed thanks to the comprehensive care plan. Thank you to everyone at the Paradise Point Animal Hospital. You are a fantastic team!! ????

There is no where else I will ever take my animals for care than here. Outstanding customer service and stellar staff all adds up to a great experience every time we come in. Today we came for a nail trim on my tripod Ziva. I can't find a groomer who has enough experience to handle dogs with a trauma background ,to cut her nails, so we come to the vet. Of course it's a bit more than the groomers "nail trim," but it's worth it to me not to have to help restrain my dog just to get them cut. I reccomend this veterinary group 1000%

Not quite sure If I was at the same facility as the rest of these people who left reviews. I went there with a good friend of mine and his dog. The Dr was rude and didn't want to take anything said into consideration. And when he did get a answer it was either short or sarcastic. Doc, get off the high horse. Show some compassion towards your customers and their pets. My friend did not want to return to this place with his dog for a follow up. Still a bit confused on all the excellent reviews and high marks. Must be friends, family and co-workers doing so. I wouldn't bring my pet roach here, if I had one. Stay awày from Paradise Point Animal Hospital

My Basenji Dog, Jack, recently went to Paradise Point Animal Hospital for removal of a growth on his neck. Dr. Garthe, Amanda, Aden and the support staff were kind and considerate of Jack's special needs. The surgery went well and he is making a rapid recovery. First class facility and staff. Thanks

It had been awhile since O'Malley had been to the vet and he needed a full checkup. Everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with at Paradise Point was focused on a thorough checkup and letting me know what needed to be done now and what could be put off for a future visit. I appreciate the wonderful care and recommend Paradise Point to everyone that is seeking first class care.

After recently relocating to this neighborhood we really wanted to find a "forever vet" for our dog. Unfortunately, I will need to find another provider due to lack of communication amongst management, staff and customers. I took my dog in for a wellness exam where they discovered he had a potential ear infection. After taking a closer look they recommended he be treated and explained to me that he would need to be treated twice (once at this visit and once a week after) in both ears. I asked how much this treatment plan would be and they said $50. It turns out it is actually $100 ($50 per each visit/application). I found this out when I was waiting for my dogs' second medication application appointment to finish and asked to speak to the manager as this was not communicated to me by staff. The manager came out to my vehicle and basically just told me" Yeah, sorry, this is what it costs." No acknowledgement or apology about how the staff was misleading. After I voiced my concerns, she took my card and came back saying she had "given me a discount"--it was $43!!!! Haha, truly laughable. From what I can see on the outside the office looks very nice. Now I know why. SCAM!

I can't say enough about this wonderful place. Everyone who works there seems to love what they are doing. Our little rescue Chihuahua feels very comfortable going there. We feel very blessed to have this loving place right in our neighborhood.
