Most caring vet and great staff

Dr. Braken and the people at Arcadia Animal Clinic are great - they have taken great care of our dogs, Jo Jo and Emma, for over 10 years. We are very lucky to have them in our community!

Dr. Bracken and his team are amazing caregivers; truly dedicated to providing the best veterinary service to their animal patients. My family/pets have been clients of Arcadia Animal Clinic for over 30 years.

Dr. Bracken is +5 Star,s but the office administration is horrible (-5 Starts). Hold time is 30-45 minutes per call. They are nearly impossible to get on the phone.

For new clients the earliest scheduled visit was 2.5 months from requested. Not recommended for an ill or injured animal.

This place was awesome! They immediately saw my dog when he face swelled up and are probably the only vet that I called that allows you to actually go inside with your pet, which is huge when you have an anxious pup like I do. 1000x better than my experiences I’ve had at blue pearl.

Dr W. Bracken is dedicated & kind. He calls me to talk about my 12yr. old male tabby, Bueford. His voice is soothing and he has colleagues that saw & evaluated my kitty for free. That says alot about a Dr. His staff is nice to me & they will work with me financially. It took me 2 months to get an appointment I saw three of the veterinarians in between that time what a waste of time. Dr bracken came out to talk to me when I brought my kitty there and I cried I said no when they tried to take it from me. But I had to let go of him. I took Dial A Ride to get there and home. My kitty is a good traveler with me I sing to him the whole time he's my only companion in my best friend. He got attacked by another cat out of my backyard here , I took him to five other veterinarians with no end result that was positive. Dr bracken took a culture of his bite wounds and sent them to California to a lab that compounded a special medication for what had happened. Now he's been diagnosed with cancer. We're moving right along . I brought it back to Dr bracken a week ago and he said give him these dental treats and take him home he hasn't lost any weight cuz his teeth are bad. I give him real butter mixed with felavite vitamins, and some laxatone with amino acids l-cysteine . It's amazing he'll stand up and try to wash up and keep going. Thank you Dr bracken for being who You are.

I was referred to Dr. Bracken after having a poor experience at one of those large chain veterinary clinics. The personalized care my 2 dogs receive is night and day difference; Dr. Bracken makes himself accessible, truly cares about your pet's best interest, and gives his full attention during the visits. I am very happy with my change and will continue to bring my doggies here for a long time to come.

Dr. Bracken is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and is also an amazing and affordable vet. He truly loves what he does and brings the up most care, kindness, and attention when treating. I've never had a bad experience. We've had a few emergencies with our dogs, and they always find a way to make time for us. The staff there is also really great and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough.

I would give it a zero if I could. I had to wait a whole month for this appointment because that's their policy on new pets. I took my cats for their 4:30 appointment (I was there 10mins early). I waited in the lobby for 15mins, while other people came and left, mind you I got there before them. Then we go into a room where we have to wait longer. I left after an hour of waiting and no vet, nor tech. I decided to not wait for the vet any longer. My kitties had to wait in a cage for a whole hour! I waited a whole month for this appointment and this is how we get treated? I don't mind waiting up to 20-25 mins but an hour. No thanks. I guess they want to keep their old clients happy. My advice is if you're new don't even bother, take your money somewhere else where you and your pets are treated with respect and dignity.
