I have a beautiful white bull terrier who has been seen by our other vet for the last year. When he was a puppy, he had giardia and coacidia. We spent thousands on both of our pups to get them healthy with those nasty parasites. About 2 months ago, we noticed a large red bump on Ruger chest. Of course, I freaked, rushed to our vet. She was in surgery so we had to see another vet. He was very pushy and said we couldn't do a biopsy and we had to do surgery to get this out ASAP as it appears to be cancer. This was going to be $1700 up front. I called around and found Westbrook for a second opinion. The staff upfront and vet were absolutly amazing. They offered me options of biopsy or we could wait and schedule the surgery, our vet felt confident it wasn't cancer as our puppers was only 10 months old, but agreed to do whatever I chose. They didn't push surgery, they didn't push biopsy, she was confident it was something that I can't pronounce and very common in white bull terriers. We were scheduled for next Tuesday the 11th of January. His lump is almost completly gone. I called to day to cancel and we discussed how we would just monitor it for the next few months to see if any changes. I am confindent it wasn't and isn't cancer. But was so happy with the care we received and they didn't push for surgery just for the money. They listened and cared and offered solutions and advise. We will be switching both our babies over here for future care. I 100% recommend!

The doctors and the employees were very sympathetic to my pet's needs and with that are working with me on the payments for the surgery that my support dog needed I would most definitely recommend them to any and everybody that needs help with their pet

I had to move across the country recently. At my old vet in Hot Springs Arkansas I went through a very difficult financial period when i had 2 clients stiff me for over $7000 in work. The two vets I visited claimed they were 'helping me'. One vet only wanted to sell me the Insulin pens for my diabetic cat at $300 (if I remember right that would last about 3 weeks). I went to another that 'helped me' by prescribing ProZinc which cost $130 for 3 week supply. I moved to Sun City and took my little boy into Westbrook Animal Hospital. They prescribed VetSulin which cost $48 for a 3 week supply. So I have to ask myself just how much those others were helping. Both sold the meds at their store. Both HAD to know how much cheaper VetSulin is. regardless of that, when i took Wilbur into Westbrook i knew instantly I was at the right place. It is extremely clean and very inviting to walk in. The receptionists (they have several, never only one that I saw) were beyond nice. They genuinely seemed concerned, were extremely attentive and just very pleasant. both on the phone and in person. When you first visit they take %50 off the initial visit (i don't know if this is per pet or per owner, so it might be %50 off each cat/dog but I'm guessing it's per owner, so only the first time you visit. i'd like to know the answer to this because I have 2 other cats) the most incredible thing is, they are understanding of financial issues. You can pay %25 of your bill and make payments on the rest. Let me tell you, for a diabetic cat this can come in handy because the fructosamine procedure is I believe $280. so breaking that up will be very handy if needed. Dr. Chris Hummel is who I saw and he clearly cares. he was very gentle with my cat, and did a very thorough initial assessment . I was instantly sure I was at the right place. Side note, he mentioned he has a diabetic cat too. This isn't terribly common I don't believe, but having a doctor that is very familiar with this disease is really helpful. I can't say enough good things about this place and especially its staff. they also called the following day every time I took him in for a procedure, checkup. Wish I could give a higher rating. 10 out of 10 if possible. There's a reason all but 2 reviews over 4 years have rated this 5 out of 5.

Everyone at Westbrook was beyond amazing from the minute I called to schedule Rizzos neuter appointment, to pick up after surgery Super helpful, the lady at the front desk was super sweet! They were so patient, I got stuck in traffic and never complained that I was 20 minutes late. Westbrooke staff are wonder. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby boy .

We were quite anxious to get Bo (roughly 9-yr old Maltese) in for dental surgery, knowing that most or all of his teeth were bad and had to come out. The staff at Westbrook was very comforting and assured us that he would be fine. They were probably not surprised at his surgery and recovery, but we were really pleased how he recovered over the following few days, behaving like nothing had been done to him. Eating and bad breath is no longer a problem and we know he will be much healthier for the next few years. Thanks so much to Dr Stuart and the wonderful staff at Westbrook for their outstanding service!

I have a 16 year old overweight cat that desperately needed his teeth cleaned. As new patient, I was able to get him into westbrook quickly ( on-Call for cancellations) And it all went smoothly! I was relieved that my cat did not need any extractions, and I had him home that afternoon! I will have all my pet needs done at Westbrook.. A BIG Thank you to the friendly and skilled staff!!! I have been bringing my pets here for over 7 years. Yesterday my 7 year old Beagle was going on Day 4 of no eating and vomiting and the runs. She was so sick. I called Westbrook and they were all booked up till Monday and I couldn't wait that long. They gave me some numbers to call other emergency services and no one would/could see us. I called Westbrook back almost in tears and somehow they were able to get Bailey in that day even though they were already over-booked. This morning My baby girl is already feeling better and has had breakfast! I don't know how to express to the staff at Westbrook how grateful I am for their care for my best friend! Thank you for always taking care of her!

Brought my new to me Border Collie To this location for his first visit. I also had them chip him as well as get heart worm meds started. My girlfriend brings her two dogs here as well they have been amazing with them. Pricing is pretty darn good considering other locations are a lot higher. Vet techs and Vets are super friendly and answer all questions and concerns I have.

Everyone was very caring and helpful. Price was very reasonable and they were able to get us in much sooner than all other vets we called. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for your help ????

Dr. Hummel and Diana took great care of our CocoPuff. They were thorough and got her in quickly. I also really appreciated Dr. Hummel"s follow up phone call too.

Westbrook has taken great care of my 14 year old Chihuahua named Sugar. First went to them for a scratch to her eye from a cat, and more recently emergency surgery, they are amazing!
