Butchers! There is no way a 3 year old dog who got regular dental cleanings would have required to have over 12 teeth removed according to the invoice. Especially the 4 bottom teeth in front! Further, they stated her weight was 14.904 pounds on the printed invoice. When they were made to re-weigh her when we picked her up, she actually weighed 7.8 pounds. As groggy as she still is, they must have given her anesthesia for a dog nearly twice her weight! This is the second dog of ours they have worked on. In the first case they went over their high end of the estimate by double and never once called us. So much for their printed 10%-15% possible variance in estimates. This dog's estimate was exceeded by in excess of 25%. In neither case have they justified fully to me the work they performed. They go after the high side of the estimates and then willfully exceed them! They need to be investigated, if for nothing else, cruelty to animals! Oh, let us not forget. They were told/reminded 4 times though out the day she needed vaccinations and which ones she needed. We had to have one of the shots done when we picked her up because they did not give it to her.

My Pomeranian had never gotten her teeth cleaned before and she is 9 years old. They definitely prepared me for the worst but only I ended up paying 500$ when the pre-estimation was for 700$ up to 1400$. I am very lucky for that but they were incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend this place if your pet needs a dental! cheapest prices in town! They even gave me a little goodie bag with some doggie treats and a cute toy. Wonderful experience.

Look no further, seriously this is your place! After our Golden Retriever cost us over $1,600 for a routine cleaning at our primary vet, I had been putting off getting our Cockers teeth cleaned. Thankfully one of our neighbors recommended Pet Dental USA in Peoria to us. It was under $200 for a routine cleaning! But it wasn’t even the outrageous cost savings that totally sold us. From the moment we scheduled our FREE consultation, we were met with such kindness from Ashley at the front desk. Dr. Mead was patient, thorough and very attentive calling me before the cleaning to go over bloodwork, and after the procedure to let me know exactly how everything went. Schedulers were very accommodating of my schedule and the tech checking us in and out were great. The entire process from scheduling, procedure, and pick up was very smooth, so much so that it was actually enjoyable! Coming from a very anxious dog mom, I can confidently say there is no other place I will ever bring my girls in for a cleaning. This is our place! When I came to pick up my dog she was wagging and happy like I was picking her up from a play date! When we were checking out they even gave us a super sweet little goodie bag with a dental chew, crackers, and even a little stuffed watermelon toy. For before and after of my dogs teeth please see photos. This was her first clean at 5 years old, I can’t believe they made her ‘wooden teeth’ look like sparkley white pearls! Thank you so much Pet Dental! -Riesling & her mommy

My 10yr old French Bulldog had never had any dental cleaning done or anything under anesthesia besides her spay when she was a puppy. I was terrified to learn from her regular veterinarian that she would need dental work. It was something I dreaded and feared because of the high-risk with Bulldogs. After I had the exam with the surgeon at Pet Dental, I was immediately put to ease. She said that she would never perform a surgery if she was not confident in a good outcome. I was given a low and high quote of what the cost might be. Obviously the cost would depend on the findings and work done during the surgery. In the end, it was less than the low quote. When I picked up my Frenchie, the packet of instructions were easy to understand and I felt confident in my at-come care for her.

Our 10 year old chihuahua mix Tank had never had a dental, and his teeth (and breath) were terrible. The dental exam is free, and they give you a detailed estimate. Tank's teeth were so bad, that they thought they would have to pull some canine and molar teeth. Luckily, they were able to keep all the canines and molars, and only pulled some of the smaller teeth. The total cost came in much less than the estimate. They sent Tank home with meds and a goodie bag. I highly recommend Pet Dental USA.

TLDR: They are awesome, prices are good, would recommend to all my friends and family I worked behind the scenes with staff at Pet Dental USA Peoria for the past 2 weeks. They are WONDERFUL. I am satisfied with all the products I have bought from them. My dog is about a 1 yr old and his teeth/gums are quite healthy (in part, due to the Pet Dental USA chews he loves), so he has no need for their surgical services at this time. However, if I wasn’t moving out of state soon I would definitely be signing him up for a future dental with them… no doubt he’ll need one because I’m certainly not brushing his teeth every day haha. I got to see firsthand how they work with their patients. Because they are focused entirely on dentistry, they are super fast and experienced. It is because they are so efficient that their prices can be as good as they are. High quality dentistry for animals *must* be under anesthesia with full mouth radiographs, otherwise you are missing tons of painful, hidden disease. Pets can’t talk, so veterinarians have to hunt to find their disease! Especially because animals will eat through their pain... ya gotta eat to live. The work I saw them do over the past 2 weeks was downright inspiring to a new veterinary graduate. I hope I can be as good as them someday! Also, as per usual with most veterinary practices, don't worry your pets are getting lots of love behind the scenes. I miss you guys already! Keep up the good work my favorite dental nerds -- Dr. Mead, Dr. Cassidy, Dr. Redmon, Dr. Harrington, Stacy, Anikka, Kortney, Michelle, Ashley, Laura, Karalin, Miguel! <3 Also take care of yourselves, veterinary medicine is hard. Also, no I was not paid to write this review, they are NOT that type of company. Basically I was just a student learning/creeping on them. I'm super grateful that they gave me this opportunity because I have never seen another veterinary clinic like this. They are an innovative model for dentistry-focused veterinary practices.

I had an initial pre-dental visit today for my cat. I have to say I was even more-impressed with my experience than I had hoped for. Everyone I spoke with was caring and knowledgeable. I know I was the last appointment of the day, but they didn't make me feel rushed. The technicians and doctor were patient as I explained my cat's in-depth medical history, and helped to customize a treatment plan accordingly. I even found out they offer more than just dental services! The estimated prices were quite reasonable (and I feel entitled to that opinion, as I've worked in the veterinary field for more than 20 years!) I will be recommending them to everyone I know :-) Thank you to Michelle, Annika, Stacy, and Dr. Mead who were a pleasure to work with. I know my kitty will be in good hands for her dental procedure.

I took my dog Rosie there for a cleaning. She is 4 years old and in great health. When we received the quote for a cleaning it included the removal of 8 teeth. The Dr explained to me it's because of her genetic make up she has a severe underbite which is obvious. But 8 teeth seems excessive. It didn't sit right with me so I opted to get a second opinion. I took her to another Dr who also has many great reviews. She explained to me my dog did not need any extractions. Makes you wonder. I just wanted to make people aware of this and to trust your own instincts.

Affordable dental options without being cut-rate. I drove in from out of town because my cat needed full mouth extractions and our regular vet was booking 3 months out. They worked with me to schedule a consultation and surgery to accommodate my schedule and were able to work us in within a few weeks of me calling. I was incredibly nervous because I didn't know any of thr doctors or techs who worked here. Dr. Meade and all the techs were kind and indulged my 363739573 questions and listened to all my concerns. Even curbside, it was a much better experience than I anticipated and would come back again with another pet.

Everyone here was so freakin' sweet. They took great care of my little girl. She ended up needing all of her teeth removed and it was a way better cost than what another place gave me (Which was almost 4x the price!). So thankful for their help, love, and care. So excited for my kitty to feel 100% again. Thank you so so so so much <3

Very good experience. Dr Mead called to discuss dog's health and dental treatment options at length. We were fortunate only a thorough dental cleaning was required. Vet techs were very helpful and friendly. Called to check on dog's status day after procedure. Very reasonable pricing.

I could not imagine my cat being in better hands. My poor baby ended up having to have all of her teeth extracted due to advanced periondotitis and lesions. All the staff that I encountered were polite and professional. 4 weeks out and my 11 yo cat has more energy and is back playing daily as if she were a kitten again. I am truly grateful towards Dr. Mead and her staff for taking such good care of my kitty.!

My experience with Pet Dental far exceeded my expectations. The entire process from initial consultation to picking up my dog was done professionally and with great care and concern for my dog and me. I’m totally impressed with the end result of my dogs cleaning. He seems happier and I know he’s healthier having years of tartar and plaque removed. The staff including the doctor’s were friendly and professional. They took as much time as needed to explain what would happen. I would highly recommend Pet Dental for pet dental needs. We go to the dentist regularly to maintain our health and animals wouldn’t be any different. I’ll be taking my dog Sam regularly to prevent disease and extractions.

I took both of my little dogs for dental treatment - they received high quality and appropriate care/treatment. Companion animal dentals are very expensive anywhere you go - I would rather spend the money with a veterinarian group that specializes in nothing but dentals.
