I took my pup here a few months ago. He was very sick and nobody knew exactly what was wrong with him. The vet told me he seemed to have brain damage (from having seizures). They also told me I should probably put him down. I chose not to. I'm happy to say Jimmy is happy and healthy now. He doesn't have brain damage. This place is a great place but like others they don't have all the right answers.

We have been clients at Peoria Animal Hospital for perhaps six years now after having had a decades long relationship with another clinic. Our animals feel comfortable there (as much as they can, of course!) and the staff are helpful if you need a short notice appointment. Dr Satkus is now our main provider, although I am comfortable with any of the doctors in this practice. While I approached this change with some trepidation, the care my animals received was excellent. I would recommend Peoria Animal Hospital to anyone wishing to have good veterinary care at what I consider to be affordable rates. I really appreciate that they will take the time to explain your family members situation and the various possibilities and avenues of treatment that you might wish to pursue.

I have never in my life of owning dogs have I se3n a Vet sit on the floor to hain my very frightened Poodle. She was so successful at getting him to trust her and he did. Her plan to help him stop limping was successful in 3 short days. This will be my Vet forever.

Was a great animal hospital many years ago, if you love your animals don't take them here. Took in a perfect animal for simple procedure, now dieing. Very unorganized and rude. Wish i went somewhere else.

Peoria Animal Hospital has been our vet for a number of years. The vets are incredible and very helpful. They have helped us keep our dogs and cats healthy. When one of our cats got diagnosed with an incurable condition, they helped us provide the best quality of life for our pet and sent a condolence card when he eventually passed. They aren't just great vets, they are great people!

We just got my son's cat of 13 years. He moved to a place where he couldn't keep him. We knew that Max has a thyroid problem. Dr. Rowley was WONDERFUL! She took her time to review his prior vet's records and spent the time necessary to take care of Max and answered all of our questions. We've been going to Peoria Animal Hospital for years and have been very satisfied with their service and their care.

They don't have a surgion at the facility, and i was hoping to have a cancer removed from my cat. All they wanted to do was offer me expensive tests, to my all ready dying cat. Seems a little profit driven.

Our little kitty got the best care ever, everyone was super helpful, and they explained what was going on. Best of all I appreciate that they asked before running a couple of different tests so I when it was time to pay, I wasn't surprised by the bill. We liked them so much, we already made check up appts for our other pets.

The whole team are amazing and made us feel very comfortable being in their establishment, being very thorough with taking their time explaining all aspects of the complicated procedure our kiddo needed and follow up steps in her recovery to get her back to health. You are in goods hands here.

Amazing, friendly and caring staff, clean business. I was going through a very hard time with my dog and they went above and beyond to make a bad situation the best they could. I was heartbroken walking in but felt a little better when I left just because of the compassion of the staff.

Very disappointed with Dr snow. Twice I had to ask her to lower her voice and to stay calm around my pet as we were first time customers my little cat was quite terrified and the first visit. As the exam continued we went in for skin lesions and irritations and her idea was for blood work and $150 worth of pet food maybe she's right I'm not the vet but she was not interested in the topical issues at all with my pet, very disappointed.

Fantastic team and amazing doctors. I was really nervous about trying a new vet but they really put me at ease. They really spend the time with you to make you feel like you and your furry loved one are really being cared for.

I love Dr. Snow. I am new to the area. She has already cared for two of my pets. I couldn't be happier. The staff is always very nice and they are so accommodating. I had an emergency Situation and they had me come right in.

I called to set up a spay. I was given a day, time, instructions, and price for the surgery which sounded great. The surgery was about a week out. I didn't get a call to confirm the surgery which seemed odd. I called the morning of the surgery before heading over to confirm it was still proceeding. They could not find me on the schedule or my dog. My dog could not be seen as the appointment was not on their system. It was very inconvenient as we had been waiting and counting in the surgery being done today.

I've been bringing my pets to Peoria Animal Hospital for at LEAST 15 years now - so back when it was on the other side of the freeway. We were always loyal to Dr. Scrimager, we'll miss her but wish her the best in her recent retirement. I've since found Dr. Crowe and couldn't be happier. Same compassionate treatment, very thorough in her exams and explanations, and very patient when I have questions. The thing I love most about PAH and Dr. Crowe is when it comes time to look at treatments and the cost thereof, they don't push for extra things to bulk up the price. They're willing to work with you on cost most of the time, too. Will continue to come to PAH for the foreseeable future with my furbabies :) UPDATE 2021 - As always, stellar work with this clinic. I had my furbaby in for evaluations after an emergency visit from a different clinic over the weekend, and both Dr. Rowley and Dr. Snow were great in trying to figure out what was ailing her. They went the extra mile in calling around to find me an ultrasound tech to get her in sooner and I'm so glad they did because it turned out her gallbladder had ruptured. Can't imagine what would have happened if I ended up waiting longer. Everyone's always been so great about getting back to me when I email or call with questions too. My loyalty remains here!

Took my kitten in for a declaw. I called around to almost every animal hospital in the valley looking for anything under $600 and didn't find anything until I called Peoria. They were very professional and were up-front about all the costs and let me chose what I wanted to have done and what not, without the pressure. So I didnt need to pay for unnecessary things which I felt was very honest, compared to most places who will tell you anything just to get your money. They truely did care about my kitten, not my wallet. They called to update me on how he was doing after the procedure so I wasn't left to worry. Highly recommend to bring your pet here. They are very professional and very honest.
