I have a rescue dog who is very shy thanks to his first 2 years of life being in solitary confinement. I am watching him blossom through Doggie District in Peoria. I can only say positive things about the facility and the staff!

My grandma and I both used doggie district for their vacation. I can say I love the service I got. This my first time leaving my baby without a family member (she normally stays with my grandma when I travel) I was a little worried about her and my god dogs (grandparents dogs). This place also answered my texts when I wanted to check in to see how the babies were. They were loving to my baby and made sure my grandmas dog were loved too!! As one of my grandma dogs couldn’t do group play, she was still able to play with her sibling and play with the handlers!! I will definitely use the service again for my next time with family Thank you so much -buffington pet family!!

Called to ask about rates/appointments but got an answering machine. I left a message and got no return call.

I have taken my dog, Lily, to Doggie District many times now. I completely trust them to take care of her while I am gone. She always has fun while there! I tend to worry about her being sad while we are gone, but she does so well with everyone at doggie district. They love her! She always comes home clean with a fresh bath! They always keep me up to date with how she is doing as well! I will definitely take Lily again!

I took our pup for orientation to prep for his training. At first they scheduled me at the wrong time so we had to reschedule to come back on another day.they mentioned that orientation is only done at a certain hour on certain days of the week. We assumed it was a big class with a schedule of activities of some sort. We went home discouraged that we were mis-scheduled. Noting that our pet has anxiety in cars we went back home and dreaded coming back again. We arrive few weeks later which was the next availability for the orientation. when I arrived I noticed I was the only person coming to orientation, I was expecting some sort of a process or seeing others there but it was not an official orientation. Not sure why they couldn’t have done it the last time I came in. The front end representative took my pup in the back and asked me to come back in an hour. When we returned they told me they couldn’t take our pup for trainings because he showed “teeth.” I asked exactly what goes on in the orientation and she explained that they put him in a room alone. Removed the leash. Left him there. Then they send a person in randomly In the room to see if he will allow them to come in. He growled. They said he was hurled in the corner. This poor puppy was left in a room for an entire hour. They didn’t call me even to tell me this went on so I could have come back early. I was in the parking lot. And they made it seem Foreign that my dog hurled in the corner and showed teeth after that? I wanted to ask the girls what they would act like if I took them and locked them in a room in a strange place. Not sure what was special about this orientation that I had to reschedule. There was absolutely no orientation of any kind done. I was so disappointed. I heard such great things about this place but I learned at first hand that I wouldn’t trust this place for anyone ‘s pets. It’s run by young kids and they are robotics. No consideration on any inconvenience that caused me when they schedule me wrong. Just cold faced - sorry.

We are new to the area and needed grooming for our dog. She has an undercoat and at a different groomer, she was shaved. Dogs with undercoats should never be shaved, the previous groomer should have known this. Doggie District understood what had happened and did a great job of trimming and de-shedding the now very thick undercoat. The experience was very professional from email communications to in person. We will return and highly recommend them. (Didn't use the day care, but it looks great!)

For the last year I’ve been taking my dog to doggie district Tempe and had the absolute best experience, I recently moved to west valley thinking the quality would be the same being it is the same business but sadly that has not been the case. I’m very unimpressed with the way this facility is ran :/ Staff was rude to me when dropping off my dog for boarding and I always have to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to get my dog. Today sent a text and was ignored twice… just overall bad experience and not as cool as the Tempe location.

Call Doggy Districk to get a appointment to have my dogs babysat told me that they were too busy to do an orientation which they trained my dog and she’s been there several times but hasn’t been in the last year so I had to move out of state and now I’m back in the state and I need to go out of town for my job and they say they don’t have time to do an orientation but they have talked they have the room to book board my dog but not the time to do orientation probably should figure out what you’re doing in business because I spent thousands of dollars at your facility and do not appreciate being turned down to be my dog being babysat Doggy Districk you guys suck by the way the manager at Thunderbird hung up on me have a great day

My dog Rigby loves spending her days there and every time I pick her up she is wiped out from all the playtime. The feedback is always great and honest and I appreciate the care they give to the doggies. I take her there often and have always had a positive experience.

First and for most the prong collar they had on my big dog was too small and was digging into his neck making him bleed . I got 2 of my larger dogs trained there for a large cost. I was told id get daily pictures and videos and just general updates . they had them for 15 days and i had to constantly get on them for any information. To top it all off they didnt use his ear medicine as instructions said to we told them and handed them a print out in case they got confused. And the icing on the cake they came back with kennel cough and spread it to my older dog then when i asked they said he was fine . and after the 1st week being home we realize they weren't trained on anything we asked for Now we only get half a refund and they are late on giving it to us When we used their boarding they charged us everyday for a flat collar when we used the collar they gave us when we asked to buy a collar they said they only rent them for 10 a day it was for 8 days ! This "FREE" boarding cost me ANOTHER 100$ and he came back with a BAD rash. Plus they never contacted us with pictures or updates or anything then they acted sick when they got home. I will never bring my dogs back

I’ve been going to Doggie District for almost three years now and they are truly the most amazing staff and facility. Over the years, they’ve worked with my dog who has anxiety and fear issues to make sure he is comfortable and he’s blossomed so much around their staff. I really appreciate that they get to know each dog on a personal level and do what’s best for them. It’s comforting knowing your pets are safe when you have to take them somewhere for the day. They have the cutest parties each week and really provide excellent value with how creative they are with photos for the dogs as well. During the pandemic, I’m even more impressed than ever as they’ve continued to provide that same level of care with new solutions like curbside pickup. My favorite local business hands down!!

Riley has been going to Doggie District for 2 years, about 4 days a week. He loves it there. His tail wags the whole time we are in the car taking him, and the staff are very affectionate and kind to him. If you are considering a day care, don't hesitate with Doggie District. They are terrific.

My dogs had their first day camp yesterday. They loved it! They got to play in the sprinklers, and meet other dogs. ???? The staff was amazing, and truly love the dogs! We are going to board them for an entire week during our home remodel. Thank you!!

They took great care of my babies and they had so much fun. They're still all tuckered out 24 hours later! Yay for getting puppy energy out productively and without destroying my house!!

I've been going to Doggie District for years. I have had 5 dogs become family at the Peoria location and honestly don't know what I would do without them. They have worked with me and my dogs, they were there for me when we had to say goodbye to our Sashie, they accommodate my Reggie and Bella when they no longer could play nice in group by giving them private pool play but most importantly they recently helped me with Samson and his behavior issues. 32 days of in house training, working with him daily, from aggression, to muzzle training, to ecollar training and of course the basics and then they trained me on how to be effective at home to keep up with his training. Samson has been home 2 months and they are still available to answer questions, concerns, and continue to work with him during play. While I'm grateful to all the staff there (I don't know everyone) but I know it takes a dedicated team behind the scenes from front desk, to runners, to yard attendants I have to personally thank Devon Bassett and Siera Hargis. Without these 2 beautiful employees nothing and I mean nothing would have been possible with Samson or any of my dogs. If anyone in the valley needs a spot for your dogs to play or if you need training of any sort... basic commands, behavior issues, leash training Devon Bassett is your go to and Siera can set it up. Tell them Shannon Rivera sent you :)

I have used the Doggy District for both Lodging & Day Camp. The facility is clean and secure. The staff is friendly and greets your pets by name as if they've know them forever. We love the suites to be able to lodge our dogs together. We felt comfortable knowing our dogs were being taken care of during lodging and able to have a stress free vacation. We also love the day camp. The dogs are separated into a "small" or "big" yard with like sized/manor dogs. We take our dog at least once a week to camp and to attend a themed "pawty" they have weekly. Our boy comes home tired and happy from spending the day with his friends and we get a fun picture at the end of the day from any pawty he attends. There is also a groomer on site that we have used for convenience of a nail trim or bath prior to.coming home. Before finding The Doggie District I was 100% that person who had severe anxiety leaving my pets with just anyone. Now I can plan without worry knowing my dogs have a safe place to go where they are equally loved. 100000% recommended this facility!!!

I was not able to go inside to check out the facility because of covid reasons they said ? so I didn't know if it was dirty or clean. They were very insistent that I show proof of current shots for my dog which I had no problem with and actually appreciated because it made me feel a little safer leaving my dog there for 4 days. much to my disappointment the day after I brought my dog home he was sick with Kennel Cough. My vet said this is common in a DIRTY facility. wont be using the Doggie District facility in Peoria again. obviously they didn't make sure ALL dogs had current vaccinations.
